San Jose est le dernier, l'hôtel le plus beau du paysage, la chambre est le stade, si il y a un match, c'est un grand écran gratuit, l'hôtel est un vent très court et moderne, mais un peu trop simple, il n'y a pas de toile de bain entre les toilettes et les toilettes sur le lavabo, Pas même de tasse de poche. Le petit-déjeuner est très riche, le plus caractérisé est le quartier de repos extérieur du 18e étage, vous pouvez regarder le paysage et manger

Don't go to this hotel. I stayed there on Monday night. It was fine. I returned the following Friday to stay for another night. I had booked a regular room for the Friday night stay. The hotel clerk recognized me and seemed to indicate that I could upgrade to another room at no additional charge. He had me sign a blank ”upgrade” form. When I check out, the hotel charged me an additional $60 for the upgrade. When I protested, they showed me the ”upgrade” form that I had signed, but now it was filled in with the room description and the additional price. (They filled in the details--including cost--after I signed the form and had gone to my room.) When I explained to the check out person what had happened she said ”too bad” and that no one was there who could help. They promised to contact me later when a manager finally arrived, but they never did. I feel it was a bait-and-switch. Had I know of the additional price, I would have simply stayed in the room I had originally booked. Be careful!

L'hôtel est à l'arrêt de mon tour Costa Rica à San Jose. L'aéroport est arrivée à la nuit, l'homme de la porte m'a aidé à sortir le taxi. Elle est entrée et a été checkée par un personnel amiable et a été donnée toutes les informations à l'hôtel. Le personnel frontal est toujours amiable et utile. La chambre était sur les 1 niveau de sols, l'intérieur est tout ouvert intérieur de sorte propre à voir. La chambre était propre et avait un bon AC pour le refroidissement. Le lit était confortable, la salle de bains bien et propre sans problèmes sur ce. Ils ont une piscine sur le site et une salle de sport ainsi que les chambres de change. Le restaurant est très confortable et très confortable. Location à proximité d'un supermarché et de parcs importants.

Nous avons séjourné ici la première nuit de notre voyage et nous avons été accueillis par le personnel de qualité et par certains des cookies gratuits FRES et EXTRAS TASTES EXTRAS lors de l'enregistrement. La piscine était très belle et le petit déjeuner était si charmant, esthétique et délicieux. Les chambres étaient belles et cooles, très propres et ont une grande sélection de chaînes de télévision. La dernière nuit de notre voyage, nous avions initialement prévu de rester à cet hôtel dans la forêt, mais notre parti a décidé de partir en raison d'un certain nombre d'observations concernant. Nous étions tous épuisés, c'était la fin de notre voyage, et nous avons besoin d'aller quelque part rester. Tout le monde a commencé à chanter qu'ils voulaient revenir à l'Arbre Double. Nous sommes arrivés et tout le monde a dit un soulagement, et nous sommes allés à nos lits chauds avec nos cookies!

Service : Bon service, à l'image des hôtels de chaines internationaux, même si adapté au pays du Costa Rica. Ils ont su gérer quelque chose que j'avais oublié dans ma chambre, en le livrant dans un autre hôtel de la chaîne, situé à Alajuela, ce qui m'a arrangé. Localisation : Endroit quelconque de San José, mais à 5minutes en marchant du Terminal de Caraibe (route vers Cariari, et donc vers Tortuguero) . Chambre : Rien à dire, confortable. Sdb : Rien à dire, confortable. Petit-déjeuner : Servit à l'entrée de l'hôtel car départ très matinal (5h), assez limité (croissants, café, thé, fruits) Piscine : Pas utilisé. Rapport Qualité-Prix : Bon. Divers : Propose un change intéressant Dollars vers Colons.

Great location in the heart of San Jose, within walking distance from all the city’s attractions. As a Hilton member, we were recognised with a great upgrade to a nice and modern room. The daily breakfast was sumptuous with local and western options. The evening happy hour was incredible and the best selection of drinks we’ve ever been to. Would also like to thank several staff who helped us during our stay - Anthony the bellhop, and Carlos + Marcela, severs at the hotel’s restaurant. One suggestion is for the reception counter staff to be more friendly and approachable. The perception we got was they were cold and rushed.

L'hôtel est situé dans le centre de San José. En bas se trouve une rue piétonne principale. C'est pratique pour manger et faire du shopping. C'est peut-être à cause des raisons du pays. L'hôtel a l'air vieux et c'est un peu dangereux de sortir le soir. L'hôtel est décoré dans un style à l'ancienne, et le hall de l'hôtel est au deuxième étage, de style très rétro. Le petit déjeuner est relativement copieux, mais après deux jours de repas, j'ai l'impression qu'il n'y a rien à manger. Il se peut que l'estomac chinois n'y soit pas habitué. Des fruits, du jus, du café, beaucoup de lait, c'est super. La salle de bain de l'hôtel n'a qu'un pommeau de douche, ce qui est très gênant. De plus, l'eau potable est installée par l'hôtel lui-même, et elle n'est toujours pas potable.

- J'ai envoyé un courriel à l'hôtel le jour avant de vérifier s'ils pouvaient envoyer un transbordeur à l'aéroport pour me prendre (pour éviter le stress de figurer sur le transport), mais ils n'ont répondu qu'une fois que je suis arrivé. Il n'était pas bon pour moi d'attendre qu'ils viennent me chercher. - La chambre était très spacieuse et très spacieuse: deux histoires avec deux salle de bains pleine, et cuisine. Je n'avais pas besoin de ces histoires, mais elles étaient disponibles. Mais la douche au-dessus de la chambre était en manque d'une porte, l'eau s'éclatait et faisait mouillée partout. De plus, la douche n'a pas bien évaporé. Il était gros de avoir mes pieds dans l'eau sale... même avec le baignoire, l'eau n'était pas bien évaporée. L'hôtel a fourni une serviette à main et deux serviettes grandes. Ils étaient vieux et rugideux. Je suis sorti pour acheter mon propre. Le lit était confortable! Alors les coussins et les feuilles! Merci pour cela! - Je suis en train de faire un marathon et il était important pour moi que l'hôtel ait un gym pour que je puisse continuer à ma formation. Cet hôtel a eu une tapiserie et il n'était pas en service. Je suppose que la prochaine fois, je dois vérifier avant de réserver. - Mon chambre n'a pas de fenêtre et donc très sombre, gloomy et déprimant. Heureusement, je n'ai pas à passer trop de temps ici. J'ai dit à la réceptionniste et elle a dit que c'était la chambre qui m'a été attribuée. Je l'ai laissé partir. - L'hôtel est au centre-ville et à pied de toutes les grandes « choses à faire » de la ville de San Jose. Mais je dois dire que les photos en ligne ressemblent beaucoup mieux que la réalité de l'hôtel. - Je resterais ici encore ? Seulement si je dois dormir quelque part pendant une nuit.

Après un long vol ce premier hôtel du séjour présente toutes les qualités pour se poser avant notre trip Costa Ricain. Accueil sobre dans une entrée un peu triste mais l essentiel est là. Piscine très cosy chambres spacieuses avec le confort et une excellente literie. Nous avons testé uniquement le petit déjeuner qui est classique et offre le choix entre local et international. Nous avons opté pour un mélange des deux servi avec beaucoup de bonne humeur. Nous ne visitons pas San Jose mais il semble très bien placé au cœur de la ville et à 15 mn de l aeroport

Au cours des trois nuits que j'ai passées, j'ai changé de chambre au cours des deux nuits suivantes, mais j'ai constaté que l'isolation phonique des chambres au cours des deux nuits suivantes était relativement médiocre et que les draps du lit avaient également des taches de sang rouge. Les autres services sont excellents, petit-déjeuner/salle de sport/piscine, etc.

L'endroit est très bien lorsqu'on arrive en début de soirée à San José depuis l'aéroport. C'est très propre et les chambres sont spacieuses. Bémol douche à l'eau froide tous les matins... malgré les explications laborieuses pour faire ”venir” l'eau chaude. Café et thé à disposition dans l'entrée pour en profiter sur la petite terrasse intérieure. Bonne situation pour aller découvrir la ville. Le cartier étudiant, très proche de la guest house est super pour sortir manger ou boire un verre. En revanche, le personnel n'est pas plus accueillant que ça... et ne donne aucun tips pour découvrir la ville ou le Costa en général.

We felt that for an upscale hostel, this place was on a whole, a great experience. My only suggestion is that the rooms need more ventilation. Our 4 person dorm room had a tiny window blocked by the beds. Putting a vent fan in the window would solve this issue. Otherwise, for what it is we loved our 2-night stay here. This was at the end of our 3 week trip and had been to many towns and places across the country, I'd say we met the most friends here and had the best time. The cafe could use more larger/common tables but we were able to meet people easily regardless. They have activities and events to encourage interaction as well as a bar and pizza oven. While these amenities are overpriced, they were convenient and similar to other hotel restaurants/cafes. We didn't feel the staff was pushy at all and if we just wanted to hang out in the cafe we weren't bothered and didn't feel forced to buy something. (and probably because of this, we usually did buy food or drinks) The location was good enough - we could walk to the central market / pedestrian mall in 10 minutes. It's walkable (during daytime) from the 7-10 bus station and the Tuasa bus to the airport. The co-working space we felt was a good value, and fantastic. High powered wifi can support video meetings and it's just across the street. Also somewhat social and a good environment to work. The staff and regular patrons were amazing and we felt that we had new friends as soon as we arrived. The place had a warm feeling that I can't quite describe, created by both the staff and the guests. We didn't want to leave.

I am writing to share my recent experience at Hotel Cultura Plaza in San Jose, Costa Rica, and to caution those considering a reservation at this establishment. During my stay at the hotel, I encountered a significant issue with the room I was assigned. Unfortunately, some of the rooms at this hotel do not have windows and resemble prison cells rather than comfortable accommodations. Understandably, I refused to accept such a room and immediately contacted Booking.com to seek a resolution. To my disappointment, the hotel displayed a lack of cooperation, even after three hours of mediation with Booking.com. Despite our best efforts, the hotel refused to address the issue adequately, leading to the cancellation of my reservation. Furthermore, the hotel has also declined to refund the payment I made for the booking. Throughout this process, their responses were consistently rude and unhelpful, leaving me frustrated and dissatisfied. In addition to the room issue, I feel it is important to mention that the dining room for breakfast at Hotel Cultura Plaza is extremely small, akin to a small bar with only about four tables. This limited space may make it challenging to find a seat during busy periods, and it can detract from the overall dining experience. Given my disappointing experience and the hotel's uncooperative attitude, I want to urge prospective customers to exercise caution when considering a reservation at Hotel Cultura Plaza. Please be aware of the lack of windows in some rooms, the prison cell-like appearance, and the limited dining space for breakfast. It is my hope that by sharing this message, I can help others make informed decisions and avoid potential frustrations. As consumers, we should be able to expect a certain level of quality and service when choosing accommodations, and unfortunately, Hotel Cultura Plaza fell short of these expectations. J ai passé une nuit avec ma femme en octobre 2019 dans le cadre d un circuit organisé au Costa rica, hotel très confortable de la chaîne Barcelo gage de Qualité, chambre très confortable et spacieuse, salle de bain très correcte, petit déjeuner super avec pas mal de choix, présence d une piscine qui a l air sympa mais que je n ai pas essayé,plein de verdure. J avais une chambre au derniers étage avec une belle vue sur la ville. Literie très confortable. Le Costa rica est un très beau pays à vesiter surtout la région de Torteiguro on a eu plein les yeux . Pura vida comme disent les costariciens

We have stayed at Casa Lima for years. The location is great since it is walking distance to our family's house. But this stay was not pleasant. We stayed in 2 room family suite, which we have stayed in this room type before (but received a different room). There were cobwebs everywhere throughout the 2 rooms. I am talking large, draping cobwebs in all the corners, it was dirty. These could have easily been removed with a broom. The room did not feel clean and our youngest was not comfortable. We had arrived late at night and had been communicating this to the hotel all along. It didn't seem like they were ready for us, the owner/manager was grumpy and seemed irritated when we asked for some water. The main 1st room had a double bed and a fold out couch. The bed was comfortable, the couch was not. There was a wardrobe to place your things. The fridge did not work. The adjacent room, had three twin beds, no windows. There was nowhere to put anything, no closet, no wardrobe, not even space for a suitcase. The adjoining door did not close unless you deadbolted it, not too comfy for a family with young kids. The bathoom door in the twin room didn't close at all, it would slide open, and most definitely didn't lock. The TV in that room didn't work either. We did report that the fridge didn't work, but they didn't do anything about it. The courtyard, as always, is amazing. It is like a jungle in the middle of the city with a ton of plants, trees, flowers and colorful rocks. There is a coi pond with a couple turtles and you can feed them if you ask for some food. There is also a large cage with a bunch of birds, which adds to the ambiance. The breakfast is simple, but good. The servers are awesome. I feel like the last 3 stays at this hotel have gone considerably downhill. i also feel like the price was a lot higher than we paid in the past. We will be looking for another go to hotel in the future.

The hotel was suitable for a quick overnight stay before leaving for our final destination. The mattresses and pillows weren't very comfy and the rooms are not air conditioned. Additionally, the front desk is not 24/7 as advertised online from our experience as we arrived on a later flight -- they close at 10pm. We had emailed the hotel 12 days prior to departing Canada to let them know we would be arriving late. We received no response. The day we arrived, we got to the hotel around 10:45pm to find the front door locked, a call button and a paper saying to give a previously provided password or call the hotel through whatsapp. We did not receive a password, nor did we have any means of contacting the hotel as we did not have wifi or data/SIM card for central America at this time. Luckily, a staff member who was off at 10pm had happened to stay later for other reasons, not because we were a late arrival, and was able to get us inside and checked in. Once we checked in and got our wifi connected, we checked our email and had received all of the necessary information...the day we arrived...at 9:54pm...I wish this information had been provided a few days earlier so we could've avoided the stress of thinking we were locked out of our hotel ina new city late at night after a full day of travel.

Notre expérience dans cet hôtel était extrêmement A+++, Anthony et Angie étaient tous deux spécialistes du Front Desk si professionnel et nous faisions notre séjour confortable. Ils ont quitté leur chemin pour s'assurer que nos tours étaient bien organisés et que notre petit déjeuner à l'hôtel était excellent. L'heure heureuse était aussi grande. L'hôtel est extrêmement propre. Tous les membres du personnel étaient courtois et nous avons assuré que nous savions où nous allions. Il était difficile de rentrer chez nous, car il semblait que nous étions à la maison.

Undiscovered gem of a hotel near San Pedro. Pros: We were looking for a place on the lower end of the price spectrum that was a one night romantic getaway for two, that I could also use my free trip coins at toward the cost of the room. Preferably including breakfast and a swimming pool with jacuzzi 😉 Not much to ask! We booked one of the cheaper rooms on the ground floor. Before check in we took an Uber to San Pedro mall to do some essential shopping and see a movie. Then we checked in and I relaxed in the jacuzzi under the San José night sky while my husband enjoyed a full workout in the gym/weights room. TV with cable was great for my husband who enjoyed the football while I enjoyed the hot shower and relaxed in the bed afterwards. We had an amazingly comfortable sleep and a delicious breakfast in the morning of gallo pinto, fresh tropical fruits, freshly squeezed watermelon juice and hot coffee. A generous check out time of 12pm meant we had more than enough time to get our things together and leave when it suited. Cons: Not many cons at this price point and value. The guy at the desk was a bit weird when we asked him for a second glass for water as there was only one in the room but not a big deal. We also had to ask him for the TV remote. The towels were a bit small like a mini dress on me after my shower. But good quality (with a third extra towel for the jacuzzi) and high quality bed linen. It also is in a slightly rough looking neighborhood but this is not a problem if you travel to and from the hotel by Uber or use a hire car (which you can park privately inside the property). Overall impression: The other photos on trip.com and similar booking sites do not do this hotel justice - it looks far better in person. It has real character since it is a restored historic hotel from an era bygone, but that is why everything is such high quality from the bed linen to the floor tiles. Everything is also in good shape and freshly painted. There a little hidden nooks around the hotel that make it very charming. The breakfast area is lovely and the jacuzzi, pool and water slide were a real highlight. We WILL be back.

We've stayed at La Sabana several times since the 2010s because, due to flight schedules, we often need to spend our first night in San Jose before we venture over to the Caribbean side of the country. La Sabana is consistency friendly, clean, comfortable and a great value. And we have always felt very safe there, day and night. The breakfast that comes with the room is awesome. The staff goes out of their way to be helpful. They have a lovely pool area. You'd never know you were in the middle of a capital city. If you stay here, there is an excellent Italian restaurant just a few steps down the street - Pasta Pronto. Don't be deceived by its outside appearance - it's delicious.

L'hôtel n'a pas fourni de boîte aux lettres. Nous avons appelé dans le passé par un appel enregistré et avons indiqué à l'hôtel le numéro de vol et l'heure de prise en charge. En conséquence, il n'y a eu aucune réponse et nous avons dû prendre un taxi de l'aéroport à l'hôtel.

Le problème réel a été facturé 15$ pour une fille qui est venue comme invité à ma chambre ......we avait un problème . la fille ne voulait pas faire quelque chose promis, après 5 minutes et a dû avoir la sécurité et le gestionnaire de la sortir de ma chambre. J'ai demandé au gestionnaire de rembourser les 15 $ que l'hôtel a facturés pour la fille. J'ai payé le 15 à l'hôtel non gird. n'a pas utilisé la chambre. Veuillez rembourser mon 15 $ pour l'invité. suffit que j'ai été trompé par la fille.. ...PS, le gestionnaire n'avait pas voulu interdire cette fille de l'hôtel. Elle va raser un autre invité DelRey dans un avenir proche. La vieille direction ne laisserait jamais cette fille entrer dans le Delrey pour con con un autre invité. Remboursement my$15. frais louables pour fille

Our stay at Autentico Hotel was booked through Green World Adventures. We stayed 2 times during our tour of Costa Rica. The staff were helpful and courteous. The included breakfast was typical Costa Rica included rice and beans, scrambled eggs as well as fruit. This is an excellent place to stay within walking distance to the Costa Rica Art Museum located in the original San Jose

Bonjour, aucun reproche à faire pour cet établissement. Décoration absolument superbe, une multitude de tableaux et sculptures tous plus beaux les uns que les autres, PDJ correct, prix corrects, literie impeccable, emplacement idéal pour ceux qui cherchent des commodités à Escazu.

Muy bien ubicado, a 10 minutos del centro de la ciudad. Excelente atención de todo el personal, desayuno completo, habitaciones amplias y cómodas y la señal de wi fi andaba muy bien. Cuenta con estacionamiento y el bar es excelente

L'hôtel NOVO est situé dans le centre ville. Il est à proximité du terminal des bus TUASA qui dessert l'aéroport ( et cela n'est pas négligeable, 1,5 euros par personne au lieu de 40 euros pour un taxi). J'ai aimé : Le Prix, WI-FI, eau chaude, literie, emplacement pas loin bus aéroport. Je n'ai pas aimé : Le quartier un peu louche dès que la nuit tombe, l'ensemble de l'établissement est vieillot - Emplacement beaucoup trop bruyant car en centre-ville coincé entre bruits de la rue qui commence le matin à 4h30 et le dancing à 50mètres toutes fenêtres ouvertes jusqu'à 2h00 du matin, le petit déjeuner très léger, équipement très vieillot. Chambre sans fenêtre. En résumé prix pas cher pour une nuit 47 euros mais ne compter récupérer de votre décalage horaire.

Nous sommes arrivés tard à la nuit. Jose à la table frontale s'occupa de notre taxi de SJO. Il nous a montré à notre chambre et nous a fait sentir très bienvenus. La chambre était propre et confortable avec un climatisateur et un toit. Le petit déjeuner était absolument délicieux et fait vraiment cette belle maison d'affaires incroyable. Nahiel de l'Aventure Inn nous a envoyé un courriel le lendemain, nous a dit qu'il avait été trouvé et nous l'avait offert de nous envoyer. Le personnel de l'Aventure Inn, qui est très utile et professionnel, fait de leur séjour une expérience très spéciale.

Peut-être que les gens locaux sont tous comme ça. L'attitude du service de l'hôtel est généralement celle du personnel du service du petit déjeuner. La chambre est bien, c'est que le parcours de la journée est très inconnu et il n'y a pas de compensation. Le partenaire de la machine à laver et à laver les machines à sec vendre, une fois 10 dollars, mais laver n'est pas propre, laver les deux choses avec les autres. La prochaine fois, il ne sera plus vivant.
