Après avoir visité cet hôtel en 2014, nous avons décidé d'y arrêter cette année. La situation est magnifique, petit déjeuner avec vue sur Windhoek. Les chambres sont grandes et bien équipées. Parking est possible dans la cour surveillée et le lavage de voitures a été réglé par le propriétaire pour nous. Dans l'ensemble, cette hébergement est recommandé.

En arrivant, nous découvrons un très bel établissement, Avec des pièces magnifiques. Nous avons eu droit à un petit verre d’accueil bien frais . Les chambres sont très grandes et confortables, la salle de bain mériterait une petite rénovation …. Concernant le repas, nous avons été très déçu du buffet du soir à 250/pers pas digne d’un établissement comme celui ci ( 3 pauvres salade, 1viande, 1 poisson ( excellent certes), et 3 pauvres petites part de gâteau …. Le buffet des petits déjeuner était beaucoup plus copieux, mais à 6h45 plus de jus de fruit a disposition de la clientèle, juste de l’eau avec des tranches de citron dedans . Le gros point faible de cet établissement est la restauration. Le personnel est très souriant et professionnel.

Grande chambre en étage, avec une épaisse moquette en sol (tachée) et une salle de bains avec une grande baignoire à débordement (= erreur de conception, l’eau coule par terre). Belles serviettes de toilette et nombreux articles de toilette à disposition. Belle literie. Climatisation non bruyante. Calme. Petit Déj servi sous forme de buffet dans une salle aussi kitch que le hall de réception avec du marbre à profusion. Il est nécessaire d’arriver de bonne heure : les plats ne sont pas réachalandés. Lorsque les quelques bouteilles de jus de fruits sont vides, il n’y en a pas d’autres. En ce qui nous concerne, nous sommes arrivés tôt et avons déjeuné correctement.

A mall is next door but you need to taxi to see any sites. Outlets are strangely hidden behind furniture which makes it inconvenient to charge your phone. The remote for the TV and A/C is bizarrely given to you with the room key, it should stay in the room. And thus the a/c was not on when I entered the room. The free bottles water was not the fridge where I could have had cold water waiting for me. The behind the bed lamp takes the room lighting from dim yellow to natural white yet it doesn't stay on for long and would start flickering. The ceiling light is in your eyes when you're lying in bed looking at your phone. I found a roach in my room so I shouldn't have left my suitcase open. Bedsheets had a blood stain on them. There's no room for towels in the bedroom so it took me a minute to find them in the room. No solid hand soap for sink, just body wash in a tube. Towel had stains on it, bathroom mirror is too low, its next to the sink. it should be a few inches higher. Rate is $51 a night for a single room, they they charge extra per child. Don't get a room on the first floor. The hotel doesn't have umbrellas for guests. The restaurant menu does not have a meat free pasta option for vegetarians. They have a whole seafood section but not a vegetarian option. The alfredo pasta was more like a cheddar soup. Service is slow in restaurant, then asked if I wanted to leave a tip. They had an impressive collection of cakes. For breakfast they put the salami together with the cheese, cucumber and tomatoes and only one tong. I don't want to eat a cucumber that's touching meat. The mushrooms were burnt beyond recognition. Only canned fruit was served at breakfast. I liked the passion fruit welcome drink when I arrived at the hotel.
