The Covid-19 pandemic has really hit Acapulco HARD! Additionally, the recent earthquake didn't help hotels in the area either. But, guest looking to book this hotel should know a few things. I was willing to let a lot of things go that would normally concern me about a hotel. But..... First: This hotel has not been updated at all since it was built. There were only 2 (2-pronged) outlets in the room. If you had a computer to charge/use - you were out of luck. The plumbing fixtures appear to be original to when the building was built. If you had children - it would be very easy for them to scald themselves while taking a shower. The toilet is updated and very noisy. It could wake the dead. The wifi works sufficiently as this room was right outside the repeater which is clearly visible from the hallway. And, the AC worked too. Second: The room looked and felt dirty after seeing mold growing on the ceiling of the bathroom and shower curtain; you start to notice all the things that needed to be addressed/cleaned. The sink was intended to be ”under mount” but appears to be cemented in place. The sliding patio door had a huge crack in it (I assume after the earthquake) Third: EVERY SINGLE HOTEL in a tropical area should supply their guests with ICE! This hotel charges $20 pesos for ice. It's a small amount; but, given all the other crummy elements you put up with staying at this hotel - - it is the least they could do for their guests. I spoke with the manager to let him know that other hotels in Acapulco have ice machines and provide that ice to their guests as part of their room rates. He re-stated the hotel policy (absolutely useless!) FINALLY: there are 2 elevators for a 22 story tower hotel. That is not sufficient. Additionally, they appeared to be mal-functioning. When you would press the PB button - every floor below you would light up. The elevator would stop on all floors below you and no one was waiting to get on. The floor of the elevator was never even with the floor it stopped on. I tripped a few times. Getting on these elevators after a earthquake was SCARY to say the least. The location of this hotel is the only reason why I booked this location. I had nicer hotels that were less expensive that I could have stayed at - but chose this one because of the location. It is safe to say, I would never stay here again - under the current management and without a complete/full renovation.

Arrivée - attendue 20 minutes pour le check-in même si nous étions la première personne dans la queue et qu' il n'y avait qu' un autre couple qui s'est rendu . Il semblait que 3 personnes se déplacent entre le compteur avant et le bureau arrière, mais personne ne vous a fait contact oculaire ou vous a reconnu. Je me sentais un peu invisible. Pas une belle première impression. 2. Petit déjeuner. Chaotique. Inclué dans la tarife de la chambre et son buffet. L'hôtel est très confortable et très confortable. Il y a d'autres personnes qui se trouvent à côté de l'entrée et de la réception, mais qui ne font que observer et ne font pas vraiment rien pour améliorer l'expérience de l'invité. Il y a un petit déjeuner relaxant et une expérience stressante. Il y a une couette pour chaque station de buffet. Le petit déjeuner est très bon pour vous, mais vous n'avez pas été couché. La musique - la musique d'énergie éclatante d'un haut-parleur de qualité basse, qui a été terrible, il est évident que personne n'aime la musique et ne crée pas une vibe de relaxation froide. Les salons solaires situés à l'extérieur des piscines et sur l'herbe sont tous fixés en droite avec des blocs en bois, de sorte que vous ne pouvez pas les mettre en place. Je ne l'ai jamais vu dans un hôtel de toute la planète - je ne comprends pas pourquoi un hôtel le ferait, à moins qu'il ne le fasse mieux en photographie, ce n'est certainement pas dans l'intérêt des clients. Il y avait un serveur qui vous prendrait des commandes de boissons mais il n'a jamais été à nous, il n'a jamais fait contact avec les yeux dans les 2 jours que nous étions là. Il n'y avait qu'un barman travaillant dur au bar de la piscine et des gens attendaient toujours l'ordre - donc il ne s'en moquait pas, comme il semblerait que cela va être long.

We were traveling as an extended family and had the three-bedroom suite facing the bay. Very nice, very clean, absolutely no complaints. Each room had a balcony. We saw sea turtles swimming in the water by the rocks numerous times. The hotel staff is pleasant and helpful. We did not encounter any staff members who were not. Part of what made the visit so enjoyable is that the taxi drivers located outside the Fiesta Americana provide a great service. We booked a daylong tour with Jose Luciano Callejas Gonzalez. We paid less than then tour companies were charging, traveled in a spotlessly clean air conditioned Suburban, and got a personalized tour. Jose took us to numerous scenic outlooks, the Chapel of Peace (a must see), the Diego Rivera mural (another must see), the Mirador for lunch and to watch the cliff divers, the outdoor ampitheater, Los Flamingoes to see the view, and other stops. We really felt like we got a great overview of city. Jose's English is excellent and he's very knowledgeable. Look for the guy in the turquoise shirt, his service is exceptional! We also worked with several other drivers stationed at the hotel. Oscar Cervantes also has excellent English and outstanding service, as does Pedro. The pools at the hotel were very nice. One was closed for renovation while we were there (June 2023) but the others offered plenty of space. One nice surprise is that several floors offer washers and dryers free of charge. So great to be able to take home a suitcase of clean clothes! Our room had a small kitchen, stovetop only, no oven, plus microwave, dishwasher, and fridge. We made a run to the grocery store and were able to cook meals there some days. The hotel plays music throughout the evening and late into the night on the weekends. If you're sensitive to sounds, take ear plugs. The music didn't bother us but it might bother others. Fiesta Americana is in easy (and safe) walking distance to numerous restaurants. We particularly liked La Finca. I whole-heartedly recommend Fiesta Americana and its excellent staff and taxi drivers!

Je me soucie beaucoup des mauvais commentaires que j'avais vus sur cet hôtel, mais la vérité est que la chambre qui m'a touchée était assez acceptable, évidemment, il ne s'attendait pas à un luxe pour ce que j'ai payé et plus sur un pont de vacances. Mais si vous attendiez une chambre propre et avec ce qui est nécessaire pour un séjour confortable, les chambres sont en effet un peu anciennes, comme dans les années 90, mais ont un réfrigérateur, une table en verre, des chaises, une cuisine et un canapé lit. Je dois dire que mes seuls désavantages étaient un contact avec l'écran, parce que l'écran ne s'est pas connecté, et que le WiFi avait un signal très faible, d'ailleurs, le personnel était très gentil. 10 minutes plus ou moins au check-in, ce qui me semblait un temps raisonnable, j'ai eu aucun problème avec le temps d'attente dans les ascenseurs, la chambre propre et le lendemain à 12 heures, la chambre était prête à asseoir la chambre. On voit que l'équipement de climatisation a été remplacé récemment, car il m'a déjà touché un contrôle à distance, plus l'équipement manuel de ceux qui sont très bruyants, la zone de trousses brille propre comme la plage et j'ai eu la chance de m'a touché un L'huile tranquille et le petit-déjeuner buffet assez acceptable pour les 145 pesos que vous payez, je insiste, peut-être l'hôtel est astre et un peu ancien, mais le traitement du personnel, La nettoyage de la chambre, la vue sur les chambres et la position de l'hôtel compensent tout, je serai certainement là.

Cet hôtel est une merde, les photos qu'ils ont sur leur page et leurs applications, sont de deux ans. Quand nous sommes allés à la famille ce week-end jeudi 25 mai, les cortines de bétail, la chambre avec animaux (cucarachas) le bain ne le donne pas comme on dit dans la photo désinfectée, ne vous donne pas de contrôle pour l'air conditionné, Les lits, rien à voir avec les photos, sont un truc ou une tentation de dormir dans les photos, ils ne changent pas les savons et la coquille vous les remet, la télévision appartient aux plus vieux, ils ne vous donnent pas la clé du WiFi, le téléphone n'a jamais eu de ligne, Ils doivent vous mettre des savons et du shampooing, bien parce qu'ils ne vous mettent que deux petits pour les deux jours que vous réservez et le shampooing à moitié de même ne m'ont pas mis un autre le deuxième jour. Il n'y a pas de valeur pour ce qu'ils perçoivent et si vous voulez autoriser des animaux de compagnie comme si l'hôtel était de la valeur. Je regrette de me voir hébergé dans cet hôtel. J'ai manqué plus de photos des lits et de la salle de bains une sale merde.

Perfect location for shopping, beaches and dining. You can choose the All Inclusive and good and drinks are provided all day long. Bring a mask tho, you have to wear a mask in dining areas.The hotel is right on the beach he b arch with a big pool. The rooms are suites with a seperate room for sleeping and a room with couch, chairs and balconey. Don’t expect an upscale room for the price, we found the room comfortable for the price. The drinks have plenty of liquor too! For any transportation needs such as If you need a ride from the airport or want a tour, or a ride anywhere transportation, contact Acapulco for All by Sebastián Hernández in Acapulco” Just go on line and do a Google search ”Sebastián Hernández in Acapulco. He is a fantastic tour guide, safe driver with shuttle transportation in a nice clean vehicle . He speaks very good English. He is honest, kind, friendly, funny and most of all will give you the best service. His tours are fantastic and his vehicles are air conditioned!

L’hôtel est excellent sur le plan structurel: vastes chambres, propreté, ascenseurs, etc. Mais le service… Aucune information d’aucune sorte n’est disponible. Le minibar ne fonctionne pas. Le téléphone guère mieux (un seul numéro disponible, le zéro). Le principal restaurant n’est accès que sur réservation 24 heures à l’avance. Faute de quoi, même si le restaurant est vide, on vous refusera l’entrée… Merci le service! Autre exemple de l’absence de bienveillance de l’administration: j’avais réservé une suite pour 15 jours et quand je suis arrivé, le premier jour donc, j’ai demandé à abréger de 48 heures le séjour. Refus tout bureaucratique: vous avez signé pour 15 jours, aucun remboursement n’est possible. Bref, c’est un hôtel qui aurait du potentiel s’il était géré de façon intelligente. Malheureusement, ce n’est pas le cas. À déconseiller.

This hotel should be a national monument, given its architecture. Most likely it was built during the 1960s, and it features three rotunda towers, none of which are more than six stories high (essentially the perfect size for a hotel; developers take note!!!). Surrounded on both sides by abominable and shabbily-constructed high-rises, the Acapulco Malibu is an absolute gem in the rough. Each room, from what I could gather, has its own balcony, is rather astonishingly spacious, and has a floor to ceiling mirror next to the bed...which is SO '70s fabulous it's...beyond belief! On the whole, service was excellent, the restaurant food was adequate, and noise levels a bit high (but by no means extreme). The pool was absolutely delicious -- perfect water temperature, cleanliness, shape and size...AND the deck overlooks glorious Acapulco Bay. BEAUTIFUL! The price when I stayed was a leetle high, however, given the fact that Acapulco is such a rat hole of a city. Sure, it's not Tulum and it's not Tijuana, but it's still fundamentally a consumerist hellscape with miles of barrios surrounding its core.
