Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The excellent service rendered by the staff made our honeymoon much sweeter. Everyone was friendly, kind and always willing to help. Room was really nice and the extra sauna and open concept bathtub was a nice surprise! Breakfast spread was super delicious as well. Facilities like the wellness area include foot bath, infrared chairs, jacuzzi etc.

I had a wonderful stay at this charming small hotel, beautifully decorated and conveniently located near Zermatt train station. During my stay, a snowstorm caused a power outage and all train services were suspended, making it impossible to leave the town. Despite these unexpected circumstances, the hotel took excellent care of us. They provided helpful information, allowed us to extend our stay without any additional charges, and showed incredible kindness throughout. The hotel owner was especially warm and accommodating, making a difficult situation much easier for us. I truly appreciated their hospitality and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Zermatt.

Parce qu'il n'y a pas d'emplacement dans FOCUS, la réception a recommandé cet hôtel. C'est un très vieil hôtel. J'étais inquiet, mais je ne m'y attendais pas. Excellent! Équipements : piscine, sauna, tous disponibles Hygiène : très bonne Environnement : Unique sur la rue piétonne Service : le personnel fait de son mieux pour servir La nourriture est également excellente, notamment la côtelette de porc grillée, qui est un peu inférieure au tomahawk.

L'hôtel se trouve à environ 500 mètres de la gare, qui est relativement proche. Style de cabine traditionnel, propre et hygiénique. Le petit déjeuner était bon, les œufs étaient tendres et les cornes étaient croustillantes, délicieuses ! Il y avait un homme plus âgé qui servait le petit-déjeuner, qui ressemblait à un majordome en costume. Du café et du lait chaud nous seront fournis. Le meilleur, c'est bien sûr que vous pouvez voir le Cervin. C'est alors que je mangeais au restaurant que j'ai levé les yeux et j'ai vu le Cervin doré.

Location – 10/10 Nestled high above Zermatt, the Riffelhaus 1853 is accessible via the Gornergrat railway, making the journey itself an adventure. Once you arrive, you’re greeted by panoramic mountain views in every direction, with the iconic Matterhorn standing proudly in front of you. The setting is perfect for ski-in/ski-out access in winter and stunning hiking trails in summer. Rooms – 9/10 The rooms are cozy, modern, and well-equipped while still maintaining a classic Swiss alpine charm. Many rooms come with Matterhorn views, and waking up to this scenery is an experience in itself. The beds are comfortable, and the rustic wooden decor gives a warm, welcoming feel. Some rooms have balconies, which I highly recommend booking for the full experience. Service – 9/10 The staff is friendly, professional, and attentive. Despite the hotel’s remote location, the service is top-notch, with staff going out of their way to accommodate special requests. From seamless check-in to helpful local recommendations, they make the stay even more special. Dining – 8.5/10 The on-site restaurant serves delicious Swiss cuisine, including traditional dishes like fondue and rösti. The breakfast is generous, featuring fresh bread, cheeses, meats, and eggs cooked to order. The only downside is that, due to the remote location, dining options are limited to the hotel restaurant, but the quality makes up for it. Wellness & Spa – 10/10 The outdoor hot tub with a view of the Matterhorn is an absolute highlight! There’s also a sauna and steam bath, perfect after a day of skiing or hiking. Soaking in the warm water while surrounded by snow-capped peaks is an experience worth every penny. Activities – 10/10 Winter: Perfect for skiing, as the hotel is directly on the slopes. The ski room is convenient, and the access to the Gornergrat ski area is unbeatable. Summer: Incredible hiking trails with direct access to the Gornergratbahn for easy excursions to higher altitudes.

Position géographique: Excellent, juste sur la rue principale de la petite ville, je peux arriver deux minutes de marche de la gare de Schelmat, et à côté de la salle de repas fixe de la ville, McDonald. Il n'y a pas loin d'une grande coop dans la ville. Facilités de l'hôtel: Bien que les portes et la réception de l'hôtel semblent petites et sensées à l'âge, la chambre de l'hôtel est bonne, devrait être rénovée près d'un an ou deux ans, et les installations sont très nouvelles et propres. Bien que la chambre ait un siège de la souris, il y a un port USB-c sur le coucher et sur le bureau, et il peut aussi charger des tablettes mobiles. Les produits de bain de l'hôtel sont généralement disponibles. Il y a un récipient disponible. Le récipient regarde bien le nouveau récipient, mais il n'y a pas d'indication. Il est estimé que ce que c'est bon marché pour le récipient de lave-cheveux. En outre, attention à l'absence de boue thermique dans la chambre ( pensez-vous que le tsunami peut avoir plus peur de voir le problème de la boue de chaleur?) Petit-déjeuner de l'hôtel: Oui, c'est tout un repas froid, les œufs doivent être mis dans le linge de œuf. Je suggère de sortir pour le petit-déjeuner à côté de McDonald's. Service: Non, c'est que le temps de sortie est plus tôt.

Our 2nd night in Zermatt, we chosen Bristol. The location is slightly far from train station but theres view to matterhorn. We stayed in mountain view room but due to weather, we did not see any. Breakfast is good. Variety of choice.

Great Location and great facilities. It also has a temperature-controlled swimming pool. But Spa services wasn’t very inviting and anyways we hardly had just 2 Nights to stay, so kind of lack of time, as we did The Matterhorn and Gornergrat trips. Overall a great stay!! 👍🏼

L'expérience de cette séjour est très bonne! La réception est très efficace et l'attitude du personnel est gentille et amicale. La chambre est propre et propre, bien que les installations ne soient pas nouvelles, mais une suite d'appartement, la chambre est super grande, le lit dorme doucement et durement et se repose bien la nuit.
