Hôtels avec balcon à Dambulla

It was absolutely amazing experience. We came from Japan & came to highland area to escape the city busyness. We are astonished about this hidden gem. As we came in we were welcomed with fantastic passion fruit juice. We came after dark & only requested simple white rice & fried vegetable but the chef and her staff made an amazing dinner with simple vegetable & rice. I realized how food prepared with heart can heal our soul. I was kept thinking if people in the world could eat this kind of food with real soul in it, could heal the whole world!! It is so amazing to be surrounded by beautiful trees &sounds of animals. I will definitely come back again. O

Nous avons vérifié notre séjour en Sri Lanka pour 4 nuits et nous avons dû demander un changement de chambre le lendemain, étant donné la fusion de la toilette et lentement inondation du sol de la salle de bain. Le problème était clairement préexistant, mais étant donné que la plupart des gens restent seulement une nuit, il n'y avait pas quelque chose qui était haut sur la liste des priorités des hôtels à adresser. Le service de cet hôtel n'a pas été une grande expérience, avec la gestion de la réception nécessitant une attention particulière. Le plus frustrant de cet hôtel est qu'ils devraient le faire rouler. Il est un endroit magnifique, une belle piscine et un bon environnement, mais c'est là qu'il s'arrête. Les chambres et le restaurant sont physiquement fatigués. La nourriture était assez moyenne, et elle était pauvre, malgré son abondance. Ils jouaient de la musique en direct à la nuit, ce qui était si « vivant » qu'il nous a envoyé à dormir deux nuits en fils. Il est inévitable que le tir promotionnel héros utilisé par l'hôtel pour commercialiser l'hôtel soit la photo de la vue de la piscine à Lions Rock.

À deux pas de l'arrêt de bus, cette charmante maison d'hôtes est sans conteste le meilleur endroit où séjourner au Sri Lanka. Le propriétaire est aux petits soins pour ses hôtes, toujours prêt à rendre service et à prodiguer des conseils avisés. Il a même réservé un tuk-tuk local à un prix très raisonnable, me permettant ainsi de découvrir la région en toute sérénité. Chaque après-midi, il venait prendre de mes nouvelles et m'offrait une délicieuse tasse de thé, rendant mon séjour encore plus agréable. La cuisine de sa femme est un véritable atout : le petit-déjeuner était non seulement délicieux, mais aussi préparé avec un soin tout particulier, apportant une touche chaleureuse à chaque repas. La chambre était impeccable, spacieuse et incroyablement confortable. Du début à la fin, ils m'ont tous deux fait me sentir comme chez moi. Je peux affirmer sans hésiter que c'est le meilleur hébergement que j'ai trouvé lors de mon séjour au Sri Lanka, et je le recommande à tous ceux qui recherchent un séjour vraiment mémorable et confortable.

Nous avons eu un excellent séjour dans le Sigiriya Cashew Palace Resort, très bon hôtel, très bien situé, super propre, calme et le personnel a été incroyablement ami.

Этот отель выбирали прям по месту! Приехали, посмотрели и забронировали 3 номера. Причем через сайт бронировать было дешевле чем в отеле. Когда нам показывали номера в нос ударил очень резкий, специфический запах, я спросила что это такое, мне ответили что это их ароматизаторы и их можно смыть. Я сказала что я с таким запахом жить не смогу и нужно убрать, сказали ок и мы пошли оформляться. Дальше я закинула вещи и ушли плавать, кушать. Вечером вернулась в номер запах был и тут меня осенило что это средство от тараканов!!!!!! Жертвы лежали уже по всему номеру, причем очень большие. На ресепшен меня молча переселили, даже не извинившись. Этот момент конечно очень испортил впечатление. Ведь я сразу озвучила что запах очень резкий. Очень интересно сделан сан узел, он будто бы на улице, в душе сетка и уличный закуток. Выходя из прохладного номера сильный контраст, но это не портит отдых. Мне понравилось оформление одноразовых наборов, они выглядели очень стильно. Вечерами в ресторане играли музыканты (первый день были мантры под музыку, на второй день пел очень шикарно парень. В ресторане можно кушать по меню или ужин/обед шведский стол. Пробовали оба варианта, все очень не плохо. Очень внимательный персонал в кафе, администратор завидя нас уже бежал готовить нам стол. Обслуживали и у бассейна. Территория не большая, но располагает к отдыху. Обезьяны даже прибегали. Подруги ходили в спа, сказали хороший массаж был. Из отеля ездили в Сигирию (минут 20 на машине) и на сафари в парк.

Great place to stay if you want to explore the lions rock and the area around. Pidurangala rock is only 15min away by tuk tuk, the lions rock can be done by walk (~20min walk to entrance). But the best experience was the kindness of the hosts. The helped us in every way (explaining routes, advices on activities, organizing tuk tuk, etc.). The food was amazing and we had a lot of interesting conversations with the friendly stuff. Special thanks to Daushna, Larush & Nimal for making our stay remarkable.

Kalundewa Retreat has an amazing concept and a beautiful, secluded location that really stands out. The surroundings are peaceful and unique, making it a lovely place to disconnect. That said, there are visible signs of wear and tear in certain areas, and some aspects of property maintenance could be improved. However, what truly made up for this was the hotel team — their service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The food was excellent and clearly prepared with care, which added greatly to the overall experience. With better upkeep, this place has the potential to be exceptional.

This is a nice hotel in a great location in terms of seeing the key sights in the area we wanted to visit (walking distance to Sigiriya and Pidurangala rocks, and a short tuk tuk ride to a night loris walk). It is on a main road so there is a bit of noise from that if you have a room at the front of the hotel like we did - especially some loud music playing early in the morning. I recommend asking for a room as far away from the road as available. The room was more basic than I expected for the price but importantly it was big and clean. I think you are paying the price for a proper hotel in this location. The hotel pool is big and very clean, it is perfect for a dip to cool down - and very scenic, surrounded by lovely trees. We were a bit disappointed with the hotel restaurant menu which has nearly no vegetarian options on it, and similarly the breakfast buffet wasn’t worth it for us to purchase, but there are lots of other restaurants walking distance from the hotel to go to. The staff were helpful especially in putting us in touch with the loris night tour.

Le service du personnel était bon. merci beaucoup. C'est proche du Rocher du Lion, à environ 1 km ! La pression de l'eau de la douche est faible. Pas de commodités, serviettes, shampoing, revitalisant, pantoufles. Le ménage était gratuit. Des geckos et des fourmis apparaissent. On se croirait dans un hôtel dans la nature. Attention à ceux qui n'aiment pas les insectes !

L'hôtel est composé de 6-7 de beaux 2 étages, avec quatre chambres par étage. L'hôtel a un grand jardin, une grande prairie et une piscine très belle. Les installations de la chambre sont réglementées et il n'y a pas de lieux particulièrement beaux. Le service est très bon, enthousiaste et attentif, la boisson est très bonne à boire. Le petit déjeuner n'est pas d'auto-assistance, les variétés sont plus simples, avec pain de pomme de terre, œufs, pan de fruits, fruits à coucher et lait. La chambre est mauvaise pour séparer le son, si les deux chambres voisines sont des étrangers, ils peuvent s'influer mutuellement. Il y a beaucoup de coussins sur les arbres du jardin. Les coussins joueront sur le toit et produiront un grand son. C'est un avantage ou un handicap pour chacun d'entre eux. En résumé, c'est un bon hôtel, qu'il s'agisse d'une excès ou d'une vacance, c'est une bonne option.
