IInvitéNous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour à Baia Azul. Cet hôtel a tout ! Des vues magnifiques depuis le salon, un joli bar avec des animations le soir, un excellent service, de belles chambres confortables et une très belle piscine. Nous n'avons rien à redire ! Le petit déjeuner était également délicieux. J'y retournerais sans hésiter !

IInvitéThe staff is friendly, the room is a good size and everything was clean. The room has a mini fridge, slippers and robes. They also provide pool towels. There is a cleaning service everyday and they change all the towels, including the ones for the pool. The bed was not the best as it was quite hard and had a spring mattress. We enjoyed the indoor pool, the jacuzzi and sauna. We haven't tried the outdoor pool as we only spent time there in the evenings. The breakfast was good. I'd come back as it was a nice experience overall.

MMuhammadOne of the main reason why I booked this 4 star hotel was that it said it had a large space gym area as mentioned before booking, so I assumed it being a 4 start Hotel it will have decent weights and machines. However, when I arrived, the gym didn’t have a pull-up bar or a cable machine, the dumbbell weights were very basic that went up to only 10 kg. That is absolutely disappointing considering this was a 4 start Hotel. To be honest the multiuse cable machine is pretty much all you need as it has everything to be exercise all your body parts! I love my pullups hence I had to find a way to do them so I found a metal gate just outside the gym in the tennis court believe it or not I used the gate frame to do my pullups (see picture). Another downfall is that it didn’t have a water fountain in the gym area. You had to go up to the reception and buy bottle of water for €2. Good luck to those who suffer from quick dehydration.
I expected the room to have a kettle which you wouldn’t think twice whether it will have it or not. But guess what? You have to pay extra to have a kettle in your room during your stay between €5 to €7. That’s just jokes, I didn’t know if I should laugh or cry!
Other than that, the staff were very friendly and the location is close to the sea, and approximately 11 minutes drive to the main city area in Funchal.
I’d say the breakfast is good, but the same time pretty standard what you would get in a 3 star hotel. I was expecting better variety. The breakfast is always the same every day. Hardly never changes. However, the dinner menu has a rotation.
Overall, I would give this place 3.5 out of 5!
I hope they can accommodate the above the next time I visit.

FFahad A AlghamdiTout était fantastique, l'emplacement de l'hôtel, les services et le design de l'hôtel. J'ai apprécié les 2 nuits là-bas. Malheureusement, l'accueil n'a pas été bon pour moi car j'ai attendu 3 heures et 20 minutes. Oui, je suis arrivé tôt avant l'heure d'enregistrement qui est 14h00 et je suis arrivé à 11h50 et le personnel du pont avant (Eduard) me confirme que ma chambre sera prête à 14h00, mais jusqu'à 15h10 seulement, je dois le faire. ma chambre après avoir signalé mon problème au responsable du pont avant (Peter), le problème ne venait pas du temps que j'avais perdu, mais de l'attitude du personnel du pont avant alors qu'il me regardait plusieurs fois et qu'il n'était pas venu me dire désolé que votre chambre ne soit pas encore prête, juste pour m'excuser…

IInvitéL'emplacement est excellent, avec une belle piscine, deux types de piscines d'eau de mer et un accès à l'océan à proximité. Un peu plus loin, à environ 25 minutes à pied de l'hôtel, se trouvent une magnifique grotte et une longue plage de sable fin. Tout le personnel de l'hôtel était très aimable ; ils ont même offert une bouteille de champagne à mon mari pour son anniversaire. Nous avions une vue panoramique splendide depuis la fenêtre de la chambre 1003. Seul bémol : j'avais réservé le petit-déjeuner, mais mon mari fait la grasse matinée, donc j'étais la seule à manger. J'ai demandé au personnel de préparer un panier-repas pour mon mari puisqu'il l'avait déjà payé, mais ils ont refusé. Résultat : nous avons perdu tous les petits-déjeuners que nous avions payés. Le petit-déjeuner est servi jusqu'à 10h00, et si vous ne vous levez pas tôt, vous ne pourrez pas manger, alors pensez-y. Sinon, tout était parfait, et le ménage était fait tous les jours.

IInvitéA experiência no Pestana Ocean Bay foi bastante agradável, os colaboradores foram sempre muito simpáticos e atenciosos, ajudaram sempre que foi necessário, têm sem dúvida uma equipa preocupada com o hóspede, atenta, empática, senti-me muito bem recebida… num questionário que respondi a meio da estadia, mencionei que nos buffets poderia haver uvas (isto porque a minha filha gosta muito, e as uvas eram uma fruta que ainda não tinha surgido), fiz essa observação pensando que nem ia ser lida, no entanto, no dia seguinte ao chegar ao quarto tínhamos um belo prato de uvas, nesse momento, sentimo-nos acarinhadas como se estivéssemos em casa, foi um gesto de cuidado que nos deixou sensibilizadas, estão de parabéns por isso e por, efetivamente, lerem os questionários, que muitas vezes achamos que ninguém vai ler e importarem-se com o que lá se escreve. Têm uma boa organização, apresentação e logística de tudo o que envolve uma estadia: refeições, animação ao fim do dia, saídas/passeios, etc.

В итоге, нашелся отель с очень просторными номерами, панорамным окном, кофе/чай, удобной ванной комнатой с биде, большим балконом. Единственные моменты: раздельная кровать для пары и слабоватый душ. Шум ночных волн на любителя:) Нам пришлось закрывать дверь на балкон, хотя и так было довольно шумно.
Сервис очень дружелюбный.
Завтрак вкусный и свежий. Много выпечки, напитки, нарезки и горячее.
Не ожидала, что будет бесплатный трансфер до центра и обратно. Абсолютный плюс этого отеля, потому что находится он не в шаговой доступности от центра.
Виды, чистота возле отеля, свой пляж - это потрясающе.
Далее мы проживали в частном секторе и много что посмотрели на острове, но первые две ночи в Orca Praia остались в нашем сердечке💘

FFabianThe dining room -I was there for the breakfast- is an old one, not so inviting. The breakfast-selection is not so good, as a vegan or vegetarian you can't choose much (only beans & bread), the coffee is okay but not tasty, the juices are not fresh & sugary.
There is no big pot for cooking, for two persons it would be good to have one.
The bed is good, the fan does its job, the bathroom is big enough, the balcony practical.
The location is near to the busline, 30min to walk to the center & there is the Lido promenade (with some places to swim) to the next small city with a small light tunnel for pedestrians, there you can hear/see the surf :)
The opening times for the pool are too late in the morning and too short (8.00-20.00).
The female staff at the reception with the glasses (saturday evening), didn't manage my wake-up-call for the next morning (the staff at this day showed me that he had no notice for a call), thats not a good one, because sometimes you have to depend on it.

MMilenioThe hotel is beautiful and super homey, you can get to the city centre really easily as there is like 3 different buses and one that is less than a 3 minute walk away from the hotel, the staff are kind and friendly, we initially got given a room right next to the entrance, due to the really thin walls it was unfortunately really loud, but the staff moved us to a much better room with no problem at all, the rooms aren’t super clean as there was some hair left after cleaning and a bag of medicine another guest had left, but it’s an amazing hotel and I’ll be staying here again next time I visit. The pool is not usable (extremely dirty) and the breakfast and coffee are way too much for what you get.

IInvitéL'hôtel se trouve dans le quartier du Lido avec de nombreux restaurants et petits supermarchés à proximité. À seulement 3 minutes à pied de l'arrêt de bus où vous pourrez vous rendre au centre-ville à 1,95 € aller simple et à l'aéroport. 5 € aller simple, 8 € aller-retour. Marcher jusqu'au centre-ville est d'environ 20 à 30 minutes. À seulement 10 minutes à pied du centre commercial Forum Madeira. Le petit déjeuner est bon avec beaucoup de choix de fruits, salade, yaourt, jambon, œufs, pain, céréales. La piscine intérieure et extérieure et la salle de sport sont également agréables. Nous logeons en studio vue mer et piscine avec kitchenette. Le balcon est magnifique.
Le personnel est poli et patient. Un seul con, pas de clim à 31 degrés. Avoir seulement un ventilateur de plafond.
