We had an incredible stay at Zen Ju Qing Cheng Mountain — one of those rare places that feels less like a guesthouse and more like stepping into someone’s way of life. What truly made the stay unforgettable, were the owners, Colin and Xiaoxiao (Show). They are genuinely, unbelievably kind — the kind of hospitality that goes far beyond service. From the moment we arrived (after the small work-out of walking up an intense hill), we were welcomed like long-lost family. Other guests — many of them regulars — immediately included us and urged us to try local delicacies they brought, which says a lot about the atmosphere Colin and Show have created. There are so many small moments that stand out: being greeted with coffee in the morning (they take coffee very seriously, in the best way), tea in the afternoon (which they take just as seriously, it turns out!), and the constant sense that nothing is too much trouble. Whether it’s helping with transport, sharing local tips, or just making sure you’re comfortable, everything is done with warmth and sincerity. The setting is beautiful and serene, tucked into the mountain with a stunning courtyard full of flowers and greenery. You can tell Colin, one of the owners, has a real gift for it — everything feels alive and thoughtfully cared for. He even treks into the mountains to pick wild tea, which gives you a sense of how deeply connected the place is to its surroundings. That attention to detail carries through everywhere: fresh flowers in the rooms, calm design, and incredibly comfortable bedding. It’s one of those places where you start to wonder what a slower, more intentional way of living might feel like. Even just for a few days, you get a glimpse of that. If you’re looking for a peaceful mountain retreat with real soul — not just a place to stay, but an experience shaped by genuinely exceptional people — this is it.

Nous sommes une famille musulmane malaisienne et avons passé un séjour merveilleux à Dujiangyan, dans la charmante et chaleureuse maison d'hôtes Zi Zai Tian. Le propriétaire était extrêmement gentil et accueillant ; il nous a même aidés à retrouver l'hôtel où notre DiDi nous avait déposés et a porté nos bagages jusqu'à notre chambre. Il nous avait même préparé des petits cadeaux de bienvenue. Les enfants ont adoré, et la mezzanine était particulièrement confortable pour eux. Le site touristique de Dujiangyan et le marché nocturne sont accessibles en 5 minutes à pied. Juste en bas de la maison d'hôtes, on trouve un choix de plats musulmans délicieux ! Merci d'avoir rendu notre séjour à Dujiangyan inoubliable !

L'emplacement est sur le flanc d'une montagne, l'air est très bon, l'environnement est calme, non loin de la zone pittoresque, et il y a des montagnes en dehors de la zone pittoresque qui peuvent être escaladées à proximité, ce qui convient aux amateurs de randonnée. . La chambre est propre et confortable, avec de nouveaux équipements et aucune odeur de décoration. Les fleurs sont en fleurs dans le jardin, vous pouvez boire du thé, prendre le petit-déjeuner et profiter des fleurs ici, ce qui vous rend heureux. Le patron et sa femme sont attentionnés et méticuleux. Je choisirai à nouveau cet hôtel si je veux gravir des montagnes. C'est très bien !

Bien, la chambre est encore plus propre, le service de la réception est enthousiaste et le rapport coût-efficacité est bien, bien que la rue soit près, la nuit est encore plus calme, beaucoup de restaurants autour de lui sont également confortables pour manger, il y a une chance de rester encore.

L'entrée est un peu étroite et donne sur une petite cour. Il est nécessaire de réserver une place de parking à l'avance auprès du propriétaire, qui vous indiquera ensuite où vous garer. La présence d'un ascenseur fut une agréable surprise, m'évitant de porter mes bagages. La chambre était en bois, ce qui me laissait craindre une mauvaise insonorisation, mais j'y ai pourtant très bien dormi. Un café-restaurant se trouve à gauche de la porte.

L'hôtel dispose d'un parking souterrain. Il peut être observé moins de dix voitures. Après avoir été confirmé à plusieurs reprises avec l'hôtel ～ Hauteur 2.3 Metres. Les amis auto-conduisant peuvent voir s'ils peuvent entrer dans le parking en fonction de la hauteur de leur propre voiture. L'hôtel dispose également d'un parking routier sur la ligne de planification officielle. Mais l'autre côté est une école plus grande. Il y a beaucoup de parents qui reçoivent les enfants demain et demain, beaucoup de vélos électriques et de voitures, il est peut-être gravement congestionné! Si vous craignez que votre voiture soit détruite, vous devriez vous garer au garage souterrain en toute sécurité.

Rooms & Tech (9/10): Highly modern and super clean. As a ”Smart Hotel,” it features full voice control (via Xiaodu smart assistant) for lights, TV, air conditioning, and curtains. Rooms are stylishly designed, and the beds are exceptionally comfortable after a long day of walking. Service (9/10): Exceptionally warm and helpful. The front desk staff are known for guiding guests on how to avoid tourist traps, helping book tickets, and providing free local snacks, tea, or coffee in the lobby. The Main Challenge: Since it is a smart hotel, the voice assistant primarily responds to Chinese commands. If you do not speak Chinese, you will have to control the lights and switches manually using the wall panels.

I booked a windowless room thinking that one day would be enough for visiting Dujiangyan, so would be in the room just to sleep. To my surprise, the room was compact but quite functional, very clean, with sanitized bath towels, clean and skin friendly bed linens. I thought I would feel claustrophobic in a windowless room, but surprisingly it was quite well-ventilated with an exhaust fan, and I was able to rest very well, just like when I stayed in a cave hotel in Kapadoccia, Turkey. Perhaps because I was at the this hotel in early November, the temperature inside the room was quite pleasant, and didn't need to use the air conditioning. I wouldn't know what it would be like to be in this windowless room in the summer. We didn't have any problems with noise, but I noticed that it doesn't have soundproofing. The only thing I didn't like is that the room I was given doesn't have a shower stall, so after using the shower, the bathroom is flooded with water, and if you step in with your shoes to use the toilet, the whole room gets splashed with water

L'hôtel est à environ 10 minutes de la gare. Il y a un distributeur automatique de préservatifs dans la chambre. La réception ferme à 23h et n'ouvre pas à 7h, donc je préfère ne pas y laisser mes bagages. Par contre, il est juste à côté du pont classé au patrimoine mondial.

L'environnement est très bon. C'est l'endroit le plus confortable dans lequel j'ai séjourné récemment. Nous sommes arrivés vers 1 heure du matin et le personnel de service a attendu très tard pour nous aider patiemment à nous enregistrer. Il était presque 10 heures le lendemain lorsque nous nous sommes levés. Le petit-déjeuner était déjà terminé. Le personnel de l'hôtel était très chaleureux et nous a réservé le petit-déjeuner. Il y avait une tante qui nous servait toujours. C'était difficile d'amener les enfants avec elle, mais la tante a été très patiente pour nous aider. C'était une très bonne expérience de séjour. J'aimerais revenir si j'en ai l'occasion. J'aimerais rester quelques jours de plus la prochaine fois si je ne suis pas pressé.
