MMax_VolkovOne of the best places we've ever stayed. We came as a couple to celebrate our first anniversary, and the hotel made those days genuinely special.
A special thank you to the lovely woman at reception — incredibly kind and helpful. She sorted out our local SIM card, set us up with bikes, and gave us great tips on where to go, what to see and where to eat. Every single recommendation was spot on.
At check-in we were upgraded to a beautiful two-storey casa with a jungle view, exactly as we had hoped. The breakfast was outstanding, the ocean view is stunning, and the pool sits in the shade — a huge plus in the August heat.
We love this hotel and will definitely be back. We both enjoyed every moment.

La position est un peu mauvaise (il y a généralement un hôtel appelé un quartier hôtelier à la mer), mais il est situé dans la ville, vous ne pouvez pas voir la mer, mais même si vous ne pouvez pas voir la mer, les installations sont très satisfaisantes. Le prix est moins cher que les autres hôtels et la qualité est très élevée, donc je recommande aux gens!

Nous avons été de la lune de miel et nous avons été très bien traités. Le café de la matinée délicieuse!

GGeorge CyprusLe centre-ville est situé à environ 300mxn. La chambre était très belle avec une douche et une baignoire extérieure, bien que le sol en bois était rustique avec des ongles qui étaient si dangereux que cela doit être fixé. La réception était très utile et nous donna même des recommandations pour les restaurants et les événements de la nuit. Le petit déjeuner a été annoncé et il est un yoghourt léger avec un peu de granola et de fruits avec du café filtré et du jus et deux morceaux de toast pour deux personnes. Le petit déjeuner a la possibilité d'améliorer à mon avis. Aucune machine à café dans la chambre, bien qu'elle soit montrée dans les images de liste, les hôtels comprennent généralement celles gratuites. Il y avait un camping juste près de l'hôtel qui semblait bizarre, pas sûr ce qui était, car il avait aussi accès à l'hôtel par les escaliers connectés à l'hôtel.

MMax_VolkovWe spent several days here as a couple and absolutely loved it.
The room was excellent — a lovely view over the pool and our own jacuzzi, which was a real highlight. Housekeeping came every morning and everything was always spotless.
The pool is beautiful and there were almost no other guests, so it felt like we had the place to ourselves. Breakfast was outstanding and delicious, and the waiter who looked after us was wonderful.
A special thank you to the lovely woman at reception — so friendly and helpful with everything we asked, and she arranged our airport transfer for us. Thank you so much.
Everything was perfect. Highly recommended.

VVugarWhen i made reservations trip.com charged while reservation.
When i checked in they asked for credit card deposit and they blocked approximately 600 usd .After hours again they charged full payment which i was paid to Trip.com already .when i called them they told me they did the recieved payment from trip.com.
So after some hour they called said sorry we did wrong while you check out we will return money.
It is about 1 week i am still waiting money to be returned to my credit card which was charged without my permission.By the way they wasn’t blocked anount they just charged 3700$ .About the rooms i never suggested bungoliw tents.insects everywhere ….

IInvitéI stayed at Azulik Tulum in one of the smallest rooms, and I have mixed feelings — both admiration and realism.
First, let’s be honest: Azulik is visually stunning. Architecturally, it’s a dream — truly built for aesthetics and Instagram. The design is beautiful, organic. From a visual and conceptual point of view, it’s easily 100/100.
However, when it comes to comfort and practicality, it’s a very different story.
Azulik is a pure jungle experience. That can be magical, but it also means:
Very limited privacy
A toilet behind a divider
No hot water at night
Minimal comfort overall
I understand this is intentional and part of the concept, but when rooms can cost up to $2,000 per night, you naturally expect a balance between artistic experience and luxury comfort — especially at that price point.
The room itself was cute, but definitely not designed for longer stays. This is not a place you want to stay more than 1–2 nights max. After that, the lack of comfort becomes noticeable.
Service was not good. I understand this is Mexico and things move differently, but for a hotel with such an international reputation, staff speaking English should be standard, especially since most guests are travelers from the other countries.
The beach service closes early (around 4–5 PM), so the experience feels very limited.
A few small but important details:
The matches in the room were extremely horrible to light, which becomes frustrating when candles are the main source of light, and I love candles idea but if you are reader this hotel not for you!
Cleaning could be better.
Hot water should really be available 24/7 at this level.
Overall, Azulik is an artistic, aesthetic, and spiritual concept, not a comfort-driven luxury hotel. If you come knowing that — and stay one or two nights only — it can be a beautiful experience. I think its important to remind guest on checking in what are they signing for, coz people don't like to read descriptions and coming for views then being disappointed.
Come for the vibe, architecture, and photos.
Don’t come expecting classic luxury or comfort.
Beautiful idea, powerful concept — but it could truly shine even more with better service, basic comfort, and attention to detail. And I`m not asking a lot here.

DDandI started out in my younger days staying at 3 star hotels working myself up to 5 star hotels these days. On this recent weekend trip i held back on my post xmas spending and got a great deal at Kore so I took a chance on it despite all the negative reviews. I think the 1 out 5 star ratings are ridiculously unfair. Rooms were big, clean, and comfy. Location was decent and had great views of the sea. I only had breakfast as I like to get out and explore, so I couldn't tell you much about the quality of food. The waiters were good, as soon as I sat down, my coffee was poured. After they recognized I tip, I never had to wait in line to get my omelets...lol. best part was the service from the front desk concierge (the Mexican soap opera looking guy) Victor. Dude was always so nice and helpful. Upon checkout, I had a late flight out, he knew that I love bike riding, so he let me keep my bracelet to have access until my shuttle arrived. I did not experience most of the issues on these reviews. English speaking staff was a challenge, but i found that was an issue everwhere I was in Tulum. Overall, if you were to go by the strict AAA guidelines, this hotel would probably recieve a 3-3.5 rating and closer to a 4 by the generous booking sites. This was no Hyatt, but a good value. Dont let those 1 star ratings discourage you.
