Nous avons passé un super séjour dans cet hôtel à Covilha excellent rapport qualité prix l’hôtel est très bien placé en centre-ville la plupart des chambres ont une vue superbe sur la vallée et la montagne d’en face ainsi que sur un petit bout de la ville Les chambres sont grandes et très bien équipées le petit déjeuner offre beaucoup de choix et nous avons pu bénéficier de la piscine extérieure du country club gratuitement pour terminer le séjour c’était merveilleux nous recommandons cet hôtel

Même si le Portugal a vu le tourisme augmenter de façon exponentielle depuis quelques années, et que désormais on croise des touristes dans le moindre petit coin reculé du pays, il existe des territoires où le tourisme de masse n'a pas encore cours, comme dans la ville de Covilhã ; C'est pourquoi on se sent ici presque décalé dans le temps et l'espace, surtout dans cette hôtel vaste et très bien équipé, qui nous parle presque d'un autre temps où le personnel était nombreux et aux petits soins, chose qu'on ne retrouve plus guère en France que dans le très haut de gamme. Certaines parties de l'hôtel sont un peu datées mais tout est impeccable, une piscine intérieure assez vaste, spa complet, service de massages, salle de sport. Restauration, bar, possibilité de manger sur le pouce en sirotant un verre dans la vaste et confortable salle de bar, sans forcément passer par le restaurant. L'hôtel est situé à l'entrée de la ville, ce qui permet de bénéficier d'un vaste parking, sachant que le centre-ville historique, pittoresque et agréable à pratiquer à pied, est difficile en mode voiture.

Très bonne prise en charge au check-in, chambre normale, petit déjeuner fantastique sans rien à noter, restaurant de très bonne qualité, super service de bar de piscine , un animateur toujours attentif, amusant, Joli et animé demain et après-midi de ”aqua gin”, musique en direct quelques après-midi et pour terminer la nuit de discothèque pour danser et se détendre.

Points positifs: L'environnement autour de l'hôtel est celui, typique et superbe, de la Serra da Estrela. L'hôtel en lui même est charmant et bien inséré dans cette nature minérale. Le personnel est très gentil et aux petits soins. Une piscine bien aménagée avec bains à remous et fontaine à jet pour masser la nuque. Le jardin est agréable et donne sur un paysage magnifique. Le petit déjeuner est bon et varié. Accès facile à des randonnées. L'hôtel accepte les chiens (+25€/jour). L'isolation est plutôt bonne, sauf quand des enfants viennent hurler devant votre porte, mais ça l'hôtel n'y peut rien :-) Points négatifs: Nous sommes venus à 5, ma femme, moi-même, nos 2 enfants et notre chien. Nous avons loué une suite standard. La literie pour nos 2 enfants ressemblait plus à des lits de camps... Le diner est l'ombre au tableau. L'expérience est juste horrible. Les plats servis sont dignes d'une cantine. Réchauffés, trop cuits, insipides... Préférez diner dans des restaurants alentour plutôt qu'à l'hôtel. C'est dommage, mais ça rendra votre séjour plus agréable.

The hotel is old and overdue for renovation. The pool, part of which is advertised as outdoor, is actually covered by a blurry plastic hood. For all this I would have given it three stars, but the story I describe below completely disappointed me. I drive an electric car and before arriving I phoned the hotel and made sure that there was a charger. When I arrived and asked at reception to charge, I was told that there was no charger, or rather that there was, but it was for the hotel's internal use only. I pointed out that I had called and clarified in advance and that I was expecting charging at the hotel and I only had 10% left now. The lady went off to call the manager. I was refused to charge and the only option they offered me was to go to another hotel where they said there were public charging facilities. I went there, but they also refused to provide a charger, telling me that their charger was also for internal use only. I went back to the hotel, ending up wasting almost all my remaining charge. Informed the lady at reception that I had a fully discharged car and needed a charger urgently. I asked to speak to the manager directly but I was refused. She called the manager again and informed me that I was allowed to use the charger, but for no longer than one hour during dinner. That was enough to drive to Covilha, and fast charge there. I ended up spending the whole evening on this problem and came back late at night. I was completely disappointed with the totally awful attitude. Firstly it is impossible to imagine a large and expensive hotel that doesn't have a charger. Secondly I was given false information on the phone. But most importantly, the hotel staff, particularly the mysterious manager on the phone felt absolutely no guilt for the situation and was completely indifferent to the situation in which he put the guest. And stubbornly refused to simply allow his equipment to be used to save the situation. I would like to know the name of the manager who was so indifferent to guests, forcing them into a helpless situation and spending hours of their time to resolve it, but unfortunately he avoided direct contact and was hiding behind the receptionist. The situation took place on 27.12.2022.

Nous sommes restés ici parce qu'on a entendu que le spa était intéressant. Il est très confortable et confortable, mais il est très confortable et confortable. Le petit déjeuner buffet mérite une mention spéciale, car il y a TOUT À votre disposition - vraiment excellent. Il s'est évanoui essentiellement parce que nous avons dit que nous ne pouvions pas parler portugais et qu'on pouvait être entendu en rigoureux (et assez haut) nous échouer en disant ”nous ne parlons pas portugais” à son collègue. Le collègue est venu ensuite, nous a servi très poliment et très agréablement en anglais, mais nous avons été laissés sentir un peu indésirés et hors de place pour être honnêtes - il n'est pas possible de parler toutes les langues! Un peu de sac mélangé, mais il vaut certainement la peine d'essayer si vous êtes dans la zone.

Localisation, service et restaurant excellent, mais la structure de l'hôtel, notamment la chambre très vieille et bruyante, pour le petit déjeuner a une variété mais ne se reposent pas régulièrement.

Excellent location, excellent recuperation of a XVI Franciscan convent with really nice and very helpful staff. The rooms are very spacious and well kept, the front office impeccable from the reservation over the phone, the check-out. They provided a lot of informations on te surrounding area. The bar and restaurant staff was great and very friendly, light dinner was very good, even he chef came out to ask if all was fine. Breakfast is really good. The indoor and outdoor pool were great (some minor details on the indoor pool need attention) the gym simple but well kept. We really enjoyed our stay and the kindness of the staff. You feel the staff is really proud to work there. We can only recommend it.
