I find it difficult to collect sufficient words in order to convey my deepest gratitude and appreciation for the holiday we just experienced at this resort. The sublime, unique and mystical environment, the peaceful mornings and evenings surrounded by vibrant forms of life: pristine pine forests, sparrows, butterflies, bees, the warm afternoons in which the harmonious olfactory notes of salt and sand enveloped us after hours of swimming in the waves that the sunlight bathes in and absorbing the beauty of a solarian autumn, the staff that became our forever friends through their kind and special souls and a wide variety of opportunities and services that made our well-being holistic - a humble description of how Simantro marked our lifes as an emotional refuge, a transcendental relaxation and healing journey of self-discovery, during our stay in September. THE SPA On this holiday we chose to rejoice the Aegeo Spa services, whilst their magical team of experts ensured our absolute recovery, comfort and health, through their professional and superior approach - they were excellent at providing physical treatments with numerous massage sessions and facial therapies. However, their gentle, luminous and understanding character offered something additional : a compassionate treatment of the soul. TIP: After a consultation of the condition we wished to achieve, that includes a form, an interview and a presentation of their facilities, they offered personalised packages that ended up being more profitable than individually selected services from their catalogue would have been! THE BEACH TIP: The Beach is extraordinary, especially during sunsets, when the scenery becomes mythical and breathtaking, as the cool evening breeze sways the shore into calmness and the observer into a meditative state. The water is fantastically clean, the sands are smooth and the entrance in the sea is not abrupt, maintains at an above-knee or middle-back level for about 10-15 meters from shore. THE FOOD The culinary delights were abundant, for every taste and preference. Moreover, there is a barbecue station within the restaurant where a chef provides freshly cooked steaks, vegetables. THE STAFF From the reservation department to the little supermarket, the reception, the restaurant and tavern, the luggage management, maintenance, the supplementary shuttle and transport service, etc. - the entirety of the employees are worthy of greatfulness, as they are the force motrice of this paradise! Everybody greets you with an open heart and respect, deposing great efforts and involvement to create a safe space for your development and activities, for your authentic manifestation. A truly wonderful hotel. From the moment we arrived the staff were attentive and always smiling. Enjoyed breakfast each morning which is served to 11am, particularly the very good coffee. We were staying B&B only but did use the Al a Carte restaurant one evening and weren't disappointed. Exceptional food, and lovely service yet again. It's about a 15 minute walk to Afytos which isn't too hard, but reception are happy to call a taxi which usually arrives in 5 minutes or so and costs 5 Euros. Afytos itself is lovely, some truly beautiful bars and restaurants and really good shopping for souvenirs. In 10 days we never experienced anything negative expect for a few days of challenging weather, but even that couldn't take the shine off this amazing place.

Bonjour Que dire sur cet bel Hotel de 5 étoiles. L'hôtel en lui même est magnifique. Les infrastructures, le design est là ! Beau, récent, pratique... Mais il y a beaucoup d'autres choses à dire pour qu'on puisse dire que nous étions dans un réel luxury 5 étoiles : hygiène : Le nettoyage de la chambre est très minimaliste : il tourne autour de poser les draps et déposer les serviettes. Le sol est très mal fait, limite pas du tout fait. Les vitres de ce bel hôtel ne sont pas nettoyées. Pleins de saleté et de tâches au sol. Les plateaux des nourritures restent tout une journées dans les couloirs. Les couloirs ne sont pas systématiquement nettoyés. Sacs poubelles alignés sur la plage. A 11h00 on constate le passage du monsieur qui s'occupe de la propreté les sacs poubelles sur le dos (ps. photos). . Les serviettes de la veille non encore ramassées, les tables non nettoyées, les matelas dans un désordre total, non alignés..... La restauration : La carte des 3 restaurants très limitée en choix et parfois des plats non disponibles. Le buffet n'est pas digne d'un 5 étoiles malgré les efforts du chefs et des employés. Compétences du personnel quasi absente. Quand on leur fait des remarques, on distingue leurs difficultés et leur exaspération (l'absence d'écoute du management). Le mojito du pool bar à 13 € : que de l'eau: une tranche de citron, des glaçons non pillés et deux feuilles de menthe (ps Photo). A table, l’eau est systématiquement payante. Pour le prix payé en demi pension d’un 5 étoiles =＞ c’est une vrai arnaque Un clin d'œil pour le professionnalisme de Shofik et de Mohamed. Deux serveurs à la hauteur qui devraient prix pour exemple. Manque de respect de certains clients vis à vis du lieu : Ils se présentent au restaurant mouillés directement en sortant de la piscine sans se séchés ni s'habillés. Les chaises sont laissées sans être rangées. Les employés dépassés ne pouvant rien dire: s'occuper du service ou de rappeler les clients à l'ordre. Ah, sans oublier qu’on aurait cru être dans une maternité/crèche avec des bébés qui hurlent tout au long du dinner au restaurant et pendant les pauses dans le hall sans que personne n’ose intervenir. Très peu, voir absence d’animation en soirée. Quand elles sont prévues, aucune annonce de faite. On s’est retrouvé le soir du mercredi 9 août avec 3 couples au pool bar. J’ai eu mal pour le DJ et l'artiste du spectacle. Les boutiques de l’hôtel ne sont pas mises en évidence. Nous avons échangé avec d'autres clients (Suisses, Francais .....) malheureusement les avis sont unanimes sur les mêmes remarques citées ci-dessus.
