Booked the lakeview hotel and able to see sunrise at villa 3. The staffs were all very nice and helpful. Beautiful rooms with a modern traditional vibe. The lunch although pricey at 256 yuan (50 yuan discount for guests) was glorious. Didnt have enough time to try everything cuz was too good. Opens only for 2 hrs so do go early! Free photoshoot with costumes. Only 5 pictures free, should take some selfies while u have time. The hotel is like a resort, u have to call bugee to get around. Do plan your trips beforehand as it can get inconvenient if planning to travel in and out often within a day. Otherwise enjoy it like a resort and walk around the place! Its huge!

This expensive hotel offers the best view of Westlake - direct (close proximity), unblocked. Dinner buffet needs to be improved - too limited in variety - seems to cater mainly to locals' tastebuds. Chinese restaurant was better - the fish was better than beef!

It was our highlight of our trip to Hangzhou! The humanities tour was detailed and we had a good look at their magnificent halls where national meetings including G20 was held! Our room package included a photo shoot and we had an easy going time with Photographer Domin宋 to capture the beautiful sights of westlake in our qing dynasty costume. We truly enjoyed our stay at Xizi hotel. Thank you!

I had a wonderful stay at Hangzhou Xizi Hotel. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and offers its own private scenic view of West Lake, which makes the experience even more special and serene. The service was excellent—staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The entire hotel was very clean and well-maintained, which added to the comfort of the stay. One of the highlights was the complimentary travel photography service provided by the hotel. The makeup was done beautifully, and I was impressed that each costume is cleaned after every use. The photographer was amazing—skilled, patient, and gave great guidance for poses, which made the whole experience enjoyable and memorable. （笑玩旅拍摄影师武昊，化妆师可可和伟伟老师） I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hangzhou. It’s a perfect blend of scenic beauty, quality service, and unique offerings.

Was a little hard to get around especially on weekends, as the gated estate prohibits private hire vehicles from entering the compound between 8am to 5pm. Also some rooms on the second floor have no lift access. No complaints with everything else otherwise.

For such an expensive hotel, there was no service whatsoever. The reception treated me coldly when I had questions and hardly went through important hotel information until i kept asking for it. My family spent hours on the road getting to this hotel, there was no lunch nearby by the time we got there at 2pm, and we weren't informed of the opening hours of their onsite restaurants until much too late. We were left hungry, and we weren't even showed to our rooms and just given a map to find our way. The hotel is huge. There are at least 8 blocks sprawled out across the land. The restaurants are far away from the lobby, at least 2 blocks away each. Only in the evening one staff finally told me that we could use the trolley carts we kept seeing ferrying their own staff. I was livid as i had 2 elderly with me and at no point did any of these carts zooming past us asked if we needed a lift. On weekends, they stop Didi (cabs) from coming in to the hotel's premises, but they provide a shuttle to drop us off right outside the hotel entrance so we could hail our cabs. We waited for the shuttle. It never came. 2min past the time (12:02PM) I asked the bellboy if the shuttle had left without us. He was alarmed, and made a few calls. It had left. I don't understand, we told the front desk and the bellboy we were waiting for the shuttle. We stood at the front door waiting for the shuttle since 11:50AM. They said the shuttle was not here yet, but it would be on time. But it left? At this point I'm no longer surprised, because it's clear this hotel does not know how to treat their customers. They offered a private service car to bring us to Hangzhoudong railway at 200Y. I had no other choice but to take it, i was having a headache, i have my parents to take care of and luggage too. A Didi premium ride would've only cost me 40Y at the most. But I never wanted to check out of a hotel faster than I did here. This was the worst hotel in my entire trip. My SGD76 hotel at Disneyland provided me more than you ever did. I will never return. I was the most excited to experience this hotel on this trip but it became the worst experience in my life. You can come if you are a Chinese resident and if you have your own car. If not be prepared to be stranded until you check out. You will also not get service, so just do everything yourself. -- The only service I got here was from the outsourced travel photography company the hotel hired. Mr Domin Song, you were the only silver lining in this nightmare of a hotel. Your photos and professionalism were 5-star. I was very happy to have gotten you as my photographer and you captured my smile even though i was really suffering from this mess. You're incredible! thank you!

The hotel’s location is excellent, situated right at the foot of Leifeng Pagoda. Just by lifting your eyes, you are greeted with the picturesque beauty of West Lake, with its stunning scenery of shimmering water and lush mountains. In the morning, as you open the window, the fresh air, infused with the lake’s vibrant essence, rushes in, bringing a sense of tranquility and delight. The room is well-equipped with complete facilities. Special thanks to our butler, Xue Chen, for proactively assisting us in handling our lost items. We are very satisfied with our stay and will definitely come again.
