Hôtels près de Grand Météore à Kastraki

Lovely small hotel. Great design and friendly staff

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. For us this was a disappointment. On the plus side this hotel is very close to the Meteora monasteries and also a 5 minute walk from the centre of Kastraki. On the pictures this hotel looks great but in real it’s very basic. We booked a Meteora view room with it’s own balcony overlooking the rocks but the only thing we were able to see were very high trees (see pictures). The room itself was small en very basic also. The bathroom was extremely small (see picture). The remote control of the air-conditioning was broken so we changed it with the one from the next door room which worked better. The breakfast offered in the hallway was very poor. Terrible coffee, some slices of bread with some cheese and sausage. The staff was OK but not very friendly or helpful. There was no information available about the Meteora monasteries. No maps, no information, nothing. This was very disappointing for an hotel which main business is hosting visitors from all over the world who are here for visiting these monasteries. This hotel was not worth the money we paid for the room (about 95 Euro per night).

L'hôtel est de grande taille. Bien qu'il ait été récemment rénové, il a aussi un sens de l'histoire. J'ai trouvé une vieille cabine téléphonique dans le hall du premier étage. Les chambres et les toilettes sont très grandes et très propres. À mon arrivée, j'ai découvert que l'hôtel offrait également avec attention une assiette de fruits et un chocolat à la tête de chaque lit, ce qui n'est pas un régal dans d'autres hôtels. Le seul regret est que l'emplacement de l'hôtel est encore un peu à l'écart de la ville. Ce n'est toujours pas pratique si vous marchez pour manger. Si vous avez une voiture, tout ira bien. Tu n'as pas rapproché Ola du gros œil. Le lendemain matin, il fallait moins de 15 minutes en voiture pour rejoindre l'attraction, ce qui était très pratique.

Pour avoir gardé d'un séjour dans cet établissement il y a cinq ou six ans un assez bon souvenir, nous y avons fait halte à nouveau en juin. Peut être était ce trop tôt en saison ? Piscine fermée, deux employés monolingues qui semblent faire tourner la boutique à eux seuls, petit déjeuner sans attrait, café imbuvable, climatisation fatiguée obtenue après négociations, barre de rideau de douche rouillée, joints de baignoire moisis..... Bref, l'Edelweiss, c'était avant....

Cet hôtel est très proche de l'arrêt de bus, à 150 mètres à pied, très proche des commerces et des restaurants, l'emplacement est bon, l'hôtel a deux côtés, on peut voir les montagnes dans la direction où on séjourne, et on peut voir les petits bâtiments dans la partie basse, ce qui est très bien. Le personnel de la réception vous présentera les horaires des bus et des églises lors de l'enregistrement, mais ils n'ont pas donné de cartes topographiques spécifiques. Je vis dans un hôtel cinq étoiles en Chine et il y a une certaine différence en Europe. Les hôtels européens ne fournissent généralement pas d'articles de toilette aux clients. Cet hôtel est équipé de serviettes et de serviettes de bain, de grandes bouteilles de désinfectant pour les mains, ainsi que de shampoing et de gel douche portables. Rien d'autre. Le sèche-cheveux dans la pièce dans laquelle je vivais était cassé et le Wi-Fi ne pouvait pratiquement pas être utilisé. C'était peut-être parce qu'il y avait trop de gens qui l'utilisaient. Tout d'abord, notre principale préoccupation avec les enfants est l'hygiène et le petit-déjeuner. Cet hôtel a un bon environnement. Des serviettes propres et des serviettes de bain sont placées à l'extérieur pour que les clients puissent les utiliser dans la cage d'escalier. J'ai vu les cheveux sur la serviette pour la première fois lorsque je suis entré dans la chambre. . . J'ai pris une tasse de café sur le porte-gobelet pendant le petit-déjeuner et j'ai vu une tasse tachée d'eau et de rouge à lèvres. Évidemment, il a été nettoyé manuellement sans être essuyé et désinfecté. Le petit déjeuner était correct. C'est juste que lorsque nous nous sommes enregistrés pour la première fois, il y avait deux groupes. Après le départ du groupe, les spécifications ont été réduites, les noix ont été annulées et les œufs ont été changés d'œufs blancs avec des tampons rouges en œufs rouges ordinaires. La différence est évidente. J'ai demandé à un ami un serveur pour une tasse de café et j'ai demandé un expresso sans sucre. Il l'a apporté et a dit que deux euros équivalaient à 16 RMB. J'espère que ce qui précède est utile à tout le monde.

The Theatro Hotel Odysseon is located quite close to the road that connects all 6 monasteries in Meteora. This makes self-guided touring of the monasteries very easy (no need to hire a guide as it's super-easy to do on your own if you have a vehicle). There is private parking on-site at this hotel. The downside of the location is that is a rather long walk to restaurants in the town centre. The room was clean and well-maintained. Ours was the ”Madam Butterfly” themed room, which featured a very low ”futon - inspired” bed. Note this may be more difficult for those who have mobility challenges as it is very low to the floor. Otherwise, the furnishings we nice. We also had a private outdoor patio with a view of one of the rock pinnacles. Breakfast was good, and served in the restaurant area of the hotel. Staff were friendly and efficient. The wifi in our room was quite weak. We would stay here again if visiting Meteora in the future.

1. Dobra lokalizacja. Blisko sklep oraz restauracje. 2. Czysto. 3. Super widok z pokoju! 4. Mikroskopijny pokój. Ledwo dało się przejść między oknem, a łóżkiem. Nie bylo nawet jak rozłożyć walizki. Musieliśmy w przejściu ją otwierać, co uniemożliwiało wyjście z pokoju. 5. Brak parkingu. Poza sezonem udało się zaparkować. W sezonie, nie wyobrażam sobie.

Останавливались в этом отеле три раза и планируем приехать ещё. Домашняя душевная атмосфера. Прекрасное обслуживание. Замечательная еда. Лучшая Мусака, что я пробовал! Рядом удобная стоянка для машин. Великолепный вид с балкона.

To all Israelis: I booked a night at the hotel for the 25th of October, without the possibility of cancellation, and the money was paid....for understandable reasons in light of what is happening in Israel these days, I contacted the hotel and asked, in light of the situation, to cancel the reservation and give me the money...I immediately received an encouraging and supportive reply from the hotel A clear statement that the hotel will cancel the reservation and reward me.....for me the hotel is recommended without having been there for the simple reason that we all learned that first of all we need to be human beings...Thank you to the hotel management and there is no doubt that in the near future I will get to stay with you. לכל הישראלים: הזמנתי לילה במלון לתאריך 25 לאוקטובר , ללא אפשרות ביטול, והכסף שולם....מטעמים מובנים לאור מה שקורה בישראל בימים אלו פניתי למלון ובקשתי לאור המצב, לבטל את ההזמנה ולזכות אותי בכסף...קיבלתי מיידית תשובה מהמלון שמעודדת ותומכת ווצעדה אמירה ברורה על כך שהמלון יבטל את ההזמנה ויזכה אותי.....מבחינתי המלון מומלץ ללא שהייתי בו מהטעם הפשוט שלמדנו כולנו שקודם כל צריכים להיות בני אדם...תודה להנהלת המלון
