Hôtels près de Restaurant Ziggy's, Tulum

I found this property Ujo have good reviews on Trip.con and wanted to give it a try. I preferred apartment style stays cos the convenience of having a kitchen allows flexibility for diet-restricted people. The place looked modern and clean. Pretty spacious and functional. Has a balcony with a (not so grande, lol) view of the neighborhood. It was so hot outside even in November, like a sauna, so we didn’t spend anytime on the balcony and kept windows and doors shut to prevent heat and bugs. The AC and two ceiling fans in our room helped greatly for temperature control, making our stay comfortable. Note: the AC only works when you use the key card in the room — inserting it in the power slot and then AC can be turned on. Without a note about it, I thought the AC was not working. But glad the lady there helped to call and figure it out. Simple as that. The bathroom is interesting. It’s mostly good, got a ceiling shower and worked well. They provided organic wash, shampoo, and conditioner. The only part that didn’t make too much sense is the short half wall that is functioning as a divider between the shower part and the dry part of the bathroom. Water would easily splash out — it felt like it was designed for shorter users and didn’t account for a lot of tourists that are tall. Perhaps add a good old shower curtain? Mostly for the property’s own benefit of not getting the floor wet where it shouldn’t be. I sent a request when I booked the room for the hosts to spray bug sprays in the room prior to my arrival. They quickly acknowledged that after my booking and did that before I checked in. Much appreciation. When we checked out, we left our luggage to the host for a few hours. They are very helpful to put them away.  Also this place has bike rentals on site for a good price compared to what we saw outside of the property.  Finally, let’s talk about the overall area. We chose it also because it’s close location to ADO bus station as we came from Cancun via bus. We don’t have any interest in the crazy taxi prices and want to walk as much as we can. So this walkable property (less than 10minutes from Tulum ADO bus station) worked. I also chose it because it’s not on the Main Street where I looked at a lot of properties and found noise complaints. I cannot handle noise past 10pm. I need my rest. So overall, Ujo was quiet in itself, no really close-by clubs, no rooftop parties, and other visitors seemed respectful and not loud after 10pm. BUT, here is the reality, this is a town with many stray animals. And they sleep during the heated day time, and get active at night. So there were barking and meowing for sure that can pierce thru. As well as some traffic sound and remote club noises. Don’t expect 100% tranquility. I am fairly picky about noise but I would say given the town’s reality, this is a very decent spot. I was able to sleep thru the nights without much issue.  Overall the stay met the score it had on Trip.com (9.6/10) when I was booking. If I visit Tulum again, or if someone asked for a recommendation, I would stay/recommend this place.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. L'hôtel dispose d'une petite salle de sport, une agréable surprise, et d'une aire de jeux pour enfants sur la plage. Le service était impeccable ; je recommande vivement William, notre serveur au petit-déjeuner.

Je ne comprends pas comment cet hôtel se qualifie d'une propriété 5-star. Le service est absolument terrible. Personne ne vous aide avec rien, la réception ne s'intéresse pas, et chaque fois que vous appelez le bureau frontal ou le concierge, personne ne répond au téléphone. La nourriture était honnêtement détestable. Rien de frais, aucun goût, très faible qualité. Les boissons goûtent comme l'eau littéralement pas d'alcool. Même les tasses et verres dans les restaurants étaient sales. Il se sent totalement inacceptable pour un hôtel qui doit être de luxe. Nous avons également eu une situation très désagréable avec la « présentation » de la désignation de membres. Ils nous ont invités à un « déjeuner pour apprendre sur la marque », mais en réalité, il est devenu un bout de ventes de style temps-actions. Lorsque nous nous plaignions, le personnel du bureau frontal était rude et rejetant, comme si c'était normal. Au-dessus de cela, j'ai oublié ma robe dans la chambre. Ils ont admis qu'ils l'ont trouvé, mais pendant deux jours ils m'ont ignoré, ne m'ont pas remis en contact, et ne l'ont pas envoyé. Je l'ai maintenu appeler et envoyer, et encore aucune réponse. Ils ont demandé à nous signer le document que nous n'avons pas de problème avec l'hôtel et nous avons demandé de faire un bon examen. L'hôtel est un hôtel de luxe qui ne vaut pas l'argent, pas même près des normes 5-star, et certainement pas l'expérience de luxe qu'ils annoncent.

Family of four (including 2 teens) stayed at the Conrad in room 3307 for one week. We had an ocean-view, 2 Queen room and opted for the Ceiba Club. The room was one of the better-sized and laid-out rooms we have enjoyed on vacation. The facilities were fantastic and we enjoyed the activities offered throughout our time here. The gym was never busy and the daily activities we found to be accessible. The bay in front offered very good snorkeling with several large reefs that held many schools of interesting fish. We also saw rays of various sizes out there too, which was exciting. Beach chairs were always available, which was a surprise, as we read that it could be problematic. Food and drink at the Ceiba Club were worth the extra cost. We lived out that the first several days that the resort wasn't busy, so Ceiba offered à la carte food from the restaurants. We also benefited from Hilton Gold status, so we were able to rotate two of our family through the amazing breakfast buffet at Arbolea. We had dinners at Marakea (Mediterranean) and Autor (Michelin Mexican restaurant). Both were good, but Autor stood out. Would return for sure.

The hotel is beautiful and overall pleasant, but it left mixed impressions. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and given a tour of the property. However, we later discovered that the cenote was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel and it was under reconstruction, and this had not been communicated in advance. Construction started around 7:30 a.m. and continued throughout the day. The noise in the morning was not too disruptive, but during the day, when the main work was happening, it became quite loud and dusty around the pool area. Workers were constantly passing by, which significantly affected the overall atmosphere. Housekeeping was inconsistent. The floor in our room was sticky upon check-in, and on one of the days, the cleaner left dirty towels on the floor. The location is good if you are looking for a quiet and remote place. We woke up to the sounds of birds and saw lizards around the property, which was lovely. However, it also means that you need transportation to get anywhere, as there is little infrastructure nearby. For us, this was not an issue we actually enjoyed the seclusion. The hotel itself is beautifully designed in a boho style and looks stunning. Despite the drawbacks, I would still consider coming back one day.

Très bonne auberge. Sans aucun doute la meilleure Selina où j'ai séjourné jusqu'à présent, et le service était excellent.

Mon hôtel préféré ! J'ai aussi célébré mon mariage ici L'hôtel est magnifique et il y a deux musées qui sont également magnifiques dans le même style. Si vous aussi vous aimez l’écologie originale, n’hésitez pas à commander directement Le paysage est d'une beauté incomparable, veillez à choisir une chambre avec vue sur la mer C'est un hôtel que vous devez visiter dans votre vie !

J'ai commencé dans ma jeunesse en séjournant dans des hôtels 3 étoiles et en travaillant moi-même jusqu'à des hôtels 5 étoiles ces jours-ci. Lors de ce récent week-end, j'ai retenu mes dépenses après Noël et j'ai obtenu de bonnes affaires chez Kore, alors j'ai tenté ma chance malgré toutes les critiques négatives. Je pense que les notes de 1 étoile sur 5 sont ridiculement injustes. Les chambres étaient grandes, propres et confortables. L'emplacement était correct et offrait de superbes vues sur la mer. Je n'ai pris que le petit-déjeuner car j'aime sortir et explorer, je ne peux donc pas vous en dire beaucoup sur la qualité de la nourriture. Les serveurs étaient bons, dès que je me suis assis, mon café a été versé. Après avoir reconnu mon pourboire, je n'ai jamais eu à faire la queue pour avoir mes omelettes... mdr. La meilleure partie était le service du concierge de la réception (le type qui ressemble à un feuilleton mexicain) Victor. Mec était toujours aussi gentil et serviable. Au moment du départ, j'avais un vol tardif, il savait que j'adorais faire du vélo, alors il m'a laissé garder mon bracelet pour y avoir accès jusqu'à l'arrivée de ma navette. Je n'ai pas rencontré la plupart des problèmes liés à ces critiques. Le personnel anglophone était un défi, mais j'ai trouvé que c'était un problème partout où j'étais à Tulum. Dans l'ensemble, si vous deviez suivre les directives strictes de l'AAA, cet hôtel recevrait probablement une note de 3 à 3,5 et plus proche d'un 4 par les sites de réservation généreux. Ce n'était pas un Hyatt, mais un bon rapport qualité/prix. Ne vous laissez pas décourager par ces notes d'une étoile. Ma note n'inclut pas la qualité de la nourriture.
