We stayed at the Mandarin Oriental Santiago a total of 3 nights. This was in conjunction with our trip to Antarctica with Silversea Cruises. Service was very nice and their security detail around the hotel made our family feel safe. However, the Senso Italian restaurant was a bit confusing when it comes to reservations or getting a host located to get you seated. Definitely dinner reservations is a 100% must for their two main restaurants. The pool service and the Atrium Lobby Lounge had good food and service as well. They do have a fantastic pool, even though it was not heated. The outside temperature may have been 90F and hot, but the water is still freezing cold. So it takes a few minutes to get use to the temperature while using the pool. The service and staff in the hotel was overall excellent and the rooms were clean and tidy. Highly recommended!

Le service de la réception est beaucoup mieux le lendemain. La nuit, le bain n'est pas chaud. Je l'ai appelé le service client pour dire que la température de l'eau est comme ça. Je ne vais pas laver la nuit. Le lendemain matin, il y a un homme qui a ouvert l'eau chaude. Le petit-déjeuner est bon. Lorsque nous sommes arrivés tard, nous avons géré notre bagage parce que l'aide n'est pas venue avant que nous n'étions tous prêts.L'eau de douche était lukewarm.Le service est venu à la chambre et ne pouvait pas le réparer.Dis-nous que c'était la façon dont il devrait être.Donc, Il n'y a pas de douche pour cette nuit.Nous avons appelé le deuxième matin, quelqu'un est venu et a tourné l'eau pour la douche température.Le bureau de front était beaucoup plus agréable le deuxième matin.Le petit déjeuner était assez bon.

Resumo + y - en este mes y medio que fué mi hogar + Buena ubicación, a pocos metros del Costanera Center y del metro. + Apartamentos completos con todo lo necesario para vivir, es como arrendar un departamento amoblado. + señal de WIFI excelente + Calidad del sueño muy buena, camas y almohadas 10 puntos. + Desayuno y almuerzo muy bueno. + Excelente atención de todo el staff del hotel Por que no es apto para viajeros exigentes? - Se rompió uno de los inodoros y 30 días después no estaba arreglado. - El 2 de enero el Gimnasio tenía las únicas dos caminadoras fuera de servicio, el 12 de febrero seguían sin funcionar. - Refrigerador viejo y ruidoso, perdía agua, no lo solucionaron. - El agua de la piscina helada - La segunda habitación sin televisor. - Televisores no SMART. - Mucha desorganización de los servicios de desayuno y almuerzo. Lo traen al horario que quieren, hay dias que el almuerzo llegaba 15 hs.....el desayuno si lo pedías temprano llegaba tarde y si lo pedías tarde llegaba temprano. Algo parecido con el servicio de ASEO. Resumen, agradezco al staff, recomiendo renovación de pequeñas cosas que pueden hacer de la estancia mas placentera.

Antes de llegar llamé al hotel para avisar que llegaría un poco antes, atendieron muy mal. Al llegar todo bien el conserje o guardia muy amable. Todo cambia cuando llegas a recepción y te das cuenta que la atención es nefasta (me he quedado en bastantes hoteles en Stgo y quede sorprendida). Hay algunos detalles cómo no hay room service y almuerzo día domingo, pero, con lo que me pasó, no es muy relevante. El día que tenía que irme por lo general pido que me dejen un rato más para poder descansar y alcanzar a almorzar temprano antes de emprender viaje al sur, por lo cual me acerco a recepción, donde estaba la misma persona que se identificó cómo Cristobal. En ningún hotel había tenido un problema por extender un rato mi estadía, ya que es comprensible. Le expliqué la situación a lo que me respondió del otro lado que no, de mala forma cómo me trató durante toda la estadía, quiero recalcar que yo soy muy amable y jamás he respondido ni solicitado nada de mala forma, y recibo ese trato en un hotel que estaba conociendo, y por el conocimiento que tengo en otros hoteles, las personas que trabajan en ello se destacan por la amabilidad y por buscar que tú estés lo más cómoda posible para volver. Sobre limpieza y el trato en el desayuno nada que decir todos muy amables, pero mi viaje se arruinó por la actitud de la persona que está en la recepción, ojalá puedan conversar con él y explicarle sobre el trato a los huéspedes que de verdad deja mucho que desear.

Excellent emplacement dans l'une des meilleures zones de la ville. Près du métro et d'un centre commercial ancien. Nouveaux départements, bien décorés et avec toutes les comodités. Il dispose de voitures larges, excellentes vues, air et soleil. Je recommande les étages hauts pour le bruit de l'avenue et du métro (il y a une ouverture juste devant le bâtiment). Le service de nettoyage est quotidien, mais sans être profond. Le dimanche n'est pas fait le lavage. Les vêtements blancs sont changés tous les 4 jours (si le changement tombe un jour dimanche, tous les 5 jours ....). Durant la journée, il y a beaucoup de restaurants, car c'est une zone de bureaux et de logements; mais la plupart sont fermés par nuit. Vous pouvez aller à pied au Parc Araucano, au Parc Shopping Arauco et au centre commercial Open Kennedy. C'est une zone sûre par rapport à d'autres de Santiago où abondent les amis de l'étranger...

Reuben was incredibly gracious and helpful during our stay. He went above and beyond any customer care service I have ever experienced in the hotel industry, or any industry for that matter. During my career over the past 30 years I have stayed no less than 150 nights a year in hotels. You need to clone Reuben, or at least use him to teach other managers how to emulate his professionalism.

This was our second trip to Santiago and to this hotel, we really enjoyed our first trip so decided to stay again. Wasn’t as good as the first stay but the hotel is nice and clean. It has good spaces with a living wall, restaurant and bar area with outside seating. Clean rooms, breakfast was not very inspiring mainly continental with limited hot food offerings. Now for the negatives Diamond member and we didn’t receive a room upgrade which was disappointing as the hotel wasn’t busy and my family who are gold were giving an upgrade we checked in at the same time (us first). Terrible room keys had to have them changed 3 times as they stopped working and reception staff didn’t seem too concerned about the inconvenience. On checkout I asked to pay with part cash I was told that this couldn’t be done due to taxes, which I’ve never experienced in the past at any Hilton, Felt that Daniel was very unhelpful and didn’t seem to really want let me pay with any cash as it wasn’t convenient for him. Shower temperature is impossible to get right either too hot or too cold.
