IInvitéThe Junior Suite was wonderful, essentially a studio apartment with a well-equipped kitchen and dining area, large windows, a private balcony seating area and extensive shelf space. The bathroom was very modern with a very nice tall shower. The beds were very comfortable and the room was large, with a couch. Definitely a great place for both short and long stays. There were a few small inconveniences in the room, but nothing that affected our stay (water seemed to leak over the door of the shower onto the shower mat; toilet seat was very stiff and loud to open/close; closets were very wide but oddly short to accommodate extra drawers, so too small to hang dresses in full length; the automatic lighting inside the closets did not turn off correctly; and our key card stopped working in the middle of our stay and had to be fixed at the reception). The hotel is very close to a tram stop, so it's easy to get into the city center, and it's also very close to the Cultural Center. It is a bit more of a trek to walk into the city, but still possible in 20 minutes or so. The hotel is located on a small street off the main road and the sidewalk leading up to it is very narrow and in disrepair. You would not guess that the inside of the hotel is so sleek and modern based on the older surrounding area.

KKMSI recently stayed at the Sofia Novotel and overall had a pleasant experience. The rooms were very clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable space to unwind after a busy day. The beds were perfect—not too firm and not too soft, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The hotel’s location is fantastic, situated just across the street from a shopping mall, which made it incredibly convenient for dining, shopping, and entertainment. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The breakfast was excellent, offering a good variety of fresh and tasty options to start the day. The only downside was the gym, which is quite small and lacks heavy free weights and a pull-up bar. While it’s fine for a basic workout, those looking for a more comprehensive fitness setup might be disappointed. All in all, Sofia Novotel is a great choice for its location, comfort, and service, but fitness enthusiasts might find the gym facilities limited. I would definitely stay here again!

__M1390165****It is a very beautiful hotel inside out. What does not make this hotel great is the poor service of at least two sections of the hotel from my personal experience. Number one disappointment is the Beauty Salon. I made an appointment for meniscus at 16:30 on September 22. I showed up on time only to be told by the receptionist that the appointment is at 16:45. I told her that is not true and in fact I confirmed it with her twice. It was apparent that someone cut into the line and from our conversation I know she knew it as well. Yet, she was lying through her teeth that is totally beyond me. The worst was yet to come, I was told when I came down again at 16:45, I had to wait for another 20 minutes. That is the end of the story. Second incident is at the “well known” restaurant Mediterra. To make a long story shot, the Greek style calamari I ordered looked as well as tasted like burned wood log. To the main course “beef cheeks” the only thing I could think about it is what I once tasted on a Lufthansa flight business class section is 10 times better. Other than that I had a very pleasant stay and the receptionists are extremely friendly and helpful. I should also add the location of the hotel is very convenient and has easy access to all the main attractions.

IIsi ahLa struttura hotel in questione ha una buona ubicazione nel centro di Sofia, servita da Metro , Bus e i taxi a buon prezzo(consiglio scaricare app. Taxi Me). La colazione è ben fornita e la camera a me consegnata(avevo la n.902) è molto buona, comoda bel letto KING size con una buona vista sulla città. Il lato negativo e’ nella reception, non si presenta per nulla in maniera adeguata, perché al problema di dover fare le scale per raggiungere il livello n.1 a piedi, immaginate una persona(peggio per gente anziana ) con bagagli e senza ascensore , diventa un problema; ma non finisce qui, perché arrivato alla zona reception. Incontri cartoni, divani, oggetti appoggiati in angolo, faldoni di fatture con persone(non sono dello staff) sbavati con birra , e’ in immagine bruttissima, per un momento stavo pensando a rinunciare alla mia prenotazione e perdere le mie 300,00€ spese.

NNoi ChaOur stay at Hotel Budapest in Sofia was enjoyable and convenient. The hotel’s location is excellent—easily accessible and close to many key attractions, making it a perfect base for exploring the city. The food at the hotel restaurant was delicious, with a variety of well-prepared dishes that satisfied our expectations. However, the dinner service during New Year’s Eve was noticeably slower, likely due to the large number of guests celebrating the occasion. While the wait was understandable given the holiday rush, a bit more efficiency would have improved the experience. Overall, Hotel Budapest offers great food, a prime location, and a welcoming atmosphere. With a little attention to service during peak times, it’s an excellent choice for a stay in Sofia!

RryetravelsThe location is superb! It's only a walking distance to Boyana church and Boyana waterfalls. 5-10 minute walk circa. The rooms are spotless, warm and very classic. Amenities were ok for the price I've paid. From the airport just take the metro and stop to Vitosha station. Take the bus no.64 and it will bring you directly to the hotel. Great staff and super helpful specially the old lady. Not everyone understands and speaks English but it's ok. The location is about circa 20mins by bus to the city centre of Sofia. The place is so quiet and tranquil. I highly recommend this hotel and can't wait to comeback during the summer season!

WwaqworkJ'ai réservé la chambre en pensant qu'elle aurait la climatisation, mais ce n'est pas le cas. C'était une nuit d'été, mais heureusement il faisait frais, donc ce n'était pas un problème. Il y avait un message qui soulevait un problème avec la carte utilisée pour allumer la clé et les lumières de la chambre, j'ai donc résolu le problème en insérant une carte différente. Vous pouvez désormais éviter la douleur de vous enfermer de l’intérieur dans le noir. Il y avait un trou mystérieux dans les toilettes. On voit la tuyauterie. Je pensais que ce serait mieux si cet endroit était caché des regards.

RRositsa Petrovahôtel. Décorations étranges. Il était classique de Sofia, construit par un célèbre architecte japonais. Ils ont toujours gardé un beau jardin japonais. Les restaurants sont aussi beaux. Le petit déjeuner était adéquat, ne pensait pas copieux. Près du métro, belle vue.
