Excellent hotel! Fabulous atmosphere! The amazing art on the hotel walls manages to flows smoothly in noise tourists’ lives. I was speechless when I saw how interior design of rooms was accurately presented and coexisted by pieces from back in 19th century such as light switches and modern high tech appliances. Hidden jam was a wonderful collection of vinyls with tremendous choices. I would definitely go back. Thank you for your exquisite taste. It’s rare nowadays

J'ai été à Sofia en tant que voyageur de femme seule et j'ai choisi cette maison d'hôtes parce que j'aime les vieilles maisons avec le personnage. Il était propre, avec du thé, du café, et des snacks dans la cuisine pour tous. Le quartier amiable m'a également fait sentir très bienvenue. Je regarde asiatique, ne parle pas la langue, et voyage seul, mais à aucun moment je ne me sentais pas malvenue ou insécurité. Je resterais certainement ici si je visite Sofia à l'avenir.

Hotel was nice, glad that I’ve found it online, it’s hard to find a good hotel to book online due to tons of negative feedbacks, but this one has a great feedback so I booked it. And it did not disappoint me. Hotel is clean with good fragrance that you can smell the moment that you’ll enter the lobby / reception. Service is great, friendly and accommodating staff. The room is spacious, seems like a 4 star room for me. They serve breakfast, with tons of seats where you can relax after check in while waiting for your next trip or flight. I forgot my bag in their lounge area / lobby before I went to their restaurant to take coffee. Then was in a hurry to go to the car service I booked outside when it was already time to go to the bus station going to Romania. After arriving at the bus station, I noticed that my bag is not in my possession, when I was about to get my other phone. Because I have other luggages to carry and was in hurry. I was worried sick that it will be lost, my bag, glad that it was there. The staff handed it over, they kept it, and nothing was missing. After getting it, I got an email from the booking app where I booked the hotel, telling me that Amar Design Hotel contacted them saying that I left my bag at the hotel. And they were asking for my contact number to reach me, they were to kind to do that right immediately. But I already got the bag. Still thankful and grateful to their staff. I would definitely check in here again when I get back to Sofia, and will recommend it to friends who are traveling here. Thank you. It was a nice stay, and their service made it even great!

The attitude of the receptionist was unprofessional, rude and unacceptable. For one hour, the whole hotel didn’t know how to charge my credit card, as their credit card machine doesn’t follow EU rules for 3D security, thus jeopardising clients’ private data. I wasted a full hour on the phone with my bank, only to find out that the hotel doesn’t follow rules on how to securely handle credit card data. The management kept telling me that it’s my fault, despite the fact I never before have had problems with card payments before. Breakfast food was decent, with a choice between a couple of set menus. The hotel was clean, rooms were quiet, and it was situated and in a convenient location, within 3-4 minutes from the nearest metro station. Some of the photos on their site are dated, as the interior is different now.

Points positifs : L’emplacement est idéal, juste au-dessus de la sortie du métro. Belle vue depuis la fenêtre. Le lit est assez confortable. Points négatifs : Présence de cheveux sur les draps. La salle de bain dégage une forte odeur d’égout. Pas de sèche-cheveux, pourtant omniprésents de nos jours. Le mobilier est très vieux. Cet hôtel mérite plutôt deux étoiles que trois.

Our stay at Hotel Budapest in Sofia was enjoyable and convenient. The hotel’s location is excellent—easily accessible and close to many key attractions, making it a perfect base for exploring the city. The food at the hotel restaurant was delicious, with a variety of well-prepared dishes that satisfied our expectations. However, the dinner service during New Year’s Eve was noticeably slower, likely due to the large number of guests celebrating the occasion. While the wait was understandable given the holiday rush, a bit more efficiency would have improved the experience. Overall, Hotel Budapest offers great food, a prime location, and a welcoming atmosphere. With a little attention to service during peak times, it’s an excellent choice for a stay in Sofia!

Il y a dix jours, j'y suis resté, c'était gentil, donc je préfère rester encore. La chambre et le lit étaient très confortables et propres. L'hôtel est un bon endroit pour aller à pied et il est aussi très calme et pacifique. Le personnel de l'hôtel est bon, gentil et utile. Merci encore !

La location est au-dessus de l'examen. Centre situé que vous pouvez marcher à l'attraction la plus populaire. Metro ou tram est très proche dans les pas. L'hôtel est partiellement rénové. Je crois qu'il sera étonnant quand il sera fini. Petit déjeuner n'est pas inclus. 15 Lev par personne avec un petit buffet que vous pouvez choisir les articles les plus populaires, c'est-à-dire, les œufs, le hameçon, les sauces, les pains ou les céréales. Mais ils ne sont pas très chauds sur les chauffeurs. Cependant, je recommande toujours aux gens de y aller pour dormir et doucher. La chambre était assez grande et le balcon a une vue sur la ville. Le prix est très bon par rapport au même hôtel 3 étoiles standard. L'équipe parle raisonnable anglais qui est pratique. Bonne chance!

A lot to love but some big problems too. Amazing location, great big room, and very easy check-in. Love that there's a sofa in the room and a fridge. Problems: - A/C (Or a pump of some sort) extremely loud from 6am in our room (3) and made sleeping impossible, extremely annoying. It lasted hours. - Bathroom had a bad smell like sewage, constantly. - No shower curtain turned the bathroom into a lake every time we showered, even when trying to be careful.

L'extérieur et l'intérieur mignons sont finis dans une palette de couleurs verte et jaune unifiée. Il y a également une cuisine où vous pourrez cuisiner et manger. Il y a aussi une salle de douche, mais elle ne contient que du savon pour le corps, c'est donc une bonne idée d'apporter votre propre shampoing. Le personnel était gentil et a répondu à toutes mes questions. merci beaucoup. Merci pour ce merveilleux séjour.
