Excellent
KKMSI recently stayed at the Sofia Novotel and overall had a pleasant experience. The rooms were very clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable space to unwind after a busy day. The beds were perfect—not too firm and not too soft, ensuring a great night’s sleep.
The hotel’s location is fantastic, situated just across the street from a shopping mall, which made it incredibly convenient for dining, shopping, and entertainment. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile.
The breakfast was excellent, offering a good variety of fresh and tasty options to start the day.
The only downside was the gym, which is quite small and lacks heavy free weights and a pull-up bar. While it’s fine for a basic workout, those looking for a more comprehensive fitness setup might be disappointed.
All in all, Sofia Novotel is a great choice for its location, comfort, and service, but fitness enthusiasts might find the gym facilities limited. I would definitely stay here again!

La chambre était spacieuse avec un design contemporain et minimaliste, mais toujours très fonctionnelle.
Les installations étaient étonnantes, la meilleure piscine intérieure que j'aie jamais été. Il était équipé de toutes les technologies aqua qui offrent tant d'options de massage. Il y a aussi 2 types de saunas, une salle de sel, une salle de vapeur et même un tube de glace rempli de glace.
. Le restaurant de l'hôtel a été merveilleux.
.Le service était si bon parce que je suis très frustré et hangant, car le code QR et le système d'envoi de télévision n'ont pas fonctionné et j'ai appelé le restaurant à plusieurs reprises et personne n'a pris le coup. Donc je suis descendu et j'ai parlé à Daria, qui m'a écoutée et m'a emmenée personnellement au restaurant, afin que je puisse commander quelque chose du menu du restaurant que je voulais vraiment ramener à la chambre qui ne devrait pas être faite. Diana de In Room Dining est venue même me livrer la nourriture à ma chambre, qui n'était pas son travail.
Nous avons décidé de dîner au restaurant de l'hôtel après avoir vérifié et rencontré Vladislav, qui nous a offert un service étonnant, de la nourriture à la boisson.
Je reviens certainement pour rester ici la prochaine fois que je serai à Sofia et je recommanderai cela à tous ceux qui viendront à Sofia.

IInvitéThe Junior Suite was wonderful, essentially a studio apartment with a well-equipped kitchen and dining area, large windows, a private balcony seating area and extensive shelf space. The bathroom was very modern with a very nice tall shower. The beds were very comfortable and the room was large, with a couch. Definitely a great place for both short and long stays.
There were a few small inconveniences in the room, but nothing that affected our stay (water seemed to leak over the door of the shower onto the shower mat; toilet seat was very stiff and loud to open/close; closets were very wide but oddly short to accommodate extra drawers, so too small to hang dresses in full length; the automatic lighting inside the closets did not turn off correctly; and our key card stopped working in the middle of our stay and had to be fixed at the reception). The hotel is very close to a tram stop, so it's easy to get into the city center, and it's also very close to the Cultural Center. It is a bit more of a trek to walk into the city, but still possible in 20 minutes or so. The hotel is located on a small street off the main road and the sidewalk leading up to it is very narrow and in disrepair. You would not guess that the inside of the hotel is so sleek and modern based on the older surrounding area.

FFilipino Traveler & Entrepreneur - Beverly VegaHotel was nice, glad that I’ve found it online, it’s hard to find a good hotel to book online due to tons of negative feedbacks, but this one has a great feedback so I booked it. And it did not disappoint me.
Hotel is clean with good fragrance that you can smell the moment that you’ll enter the lobby / reception.
Service is great, friendly and accommodating staff. The room is spacious, seems like a 4 star room for me. They serve breakfast, with tons of seats where you can relax after check in while waiting for your next trip or flight.
I forgot my bag in their lounge area / lobby before I went to their restaurant to take coffee. Then was in a hurry to go to the car service I booked outside when it was already time to go to the bus station going to Romania. After arriving at the bus station, I noticed that my bag is not in my possession, when I was about to get my other phone. Because I have other luggages to carry and was in hurry.
I was worried sick that it will be lost, my bag, glad that it was there. The staff handed it over, they kept it, and nothing was missing. After getting it, I got an email from the booking app where I booked the hotel, telling me that Amar Design Hotel contacted them saying that I left my bag at the hotel. And they were asking for my contact number to reach me, they were to kind to do that right immediately. But I already got the bag.
Still thankful and grateful to their staff.
I would definitely check in here again when I get back to Sofia, and will recommend it to friends who are traveling here.

IInvitéL'hôtel est bon, le service reste beaucoup à désirer. Nous sommes arrivés à l'hôtel à 14 h et nous avons demandé à la réception si la chambre est prête (check normal à 15 h). Nous sommes arrivés à la réception à 15 h, notre chambre n'était pas prête. La réception a demandé de demander d'attendre 10-15 min. Nous sommes arrivés à la réception à 15 h 30, la chambre n'était pas prête. La dame s'est excusée et nous a demandé d'attendre 15-20 min maximum. Nous sommes arrivés à 16h10 - la salle n'était pas prête. Sur ma question « quand sera-t-elle prête ? » j'ai reçu la réponse « je ne sais pas ». J'ai demandé à la dame de téléphoner au bureau de la supervision responsable/de nettoyage et de clarifier. La réponse était « Je les ai déjà appelés, ils ne savent pas ». Je suis en colère, car personne ne m'a dit quand nous pouvons attendre la salle prête. Après avoir appliqué la clé à leur gestionnaire, nous avons reçu la clé dans 5 minutes. La chambre n'était pas si mauvaise, mais dans la salle de bains il y avait un fort odeur de décharge qui s'est maintenu dans la chambre toute la nuit.

NNoi ChaOur stay at Hotel Budapest in Sofia was enjoyable and convenient. The hotel’s location is excellent—easily accessible and close to many key attractions, making it a perfect base for exploring the city.
The food at the hotel restaurant was delicious, with a variety of well-prepared dishes that satisfied our expectations. However, the dinner service during New Year’s Eve was noticeably slower, likely due to the large number of guests celebrating the occasion. While the wait was understandable given the holiday rush, a bit more efficiency would have improved the experience.
Overall, Hotel Budapest offers great food, a prime location, and a welcoming atmosphere. With a little attention to service during peak times, it’s an excellent choice for a stay in Sofia!

JJoe the world citizenL'hôtel est très proche du centre-ville. Il est juste 10-15 min à pied. Il est un peu vieux mais toujours très propre. Ma chambre est inattenduement grande pour un prix très abordable. Les personnels sont amicaux et très utiles. Ils ont une bonne sélection de petit déjeuner. En général, il était un bon séjour.

OOlCrRoom was barebones and dirty in places, tired carpet and stains etc. Bathroom okay, dated toilet and broken shower head & holder. Check in desk were helpful, but most other staff I encountered were either dismissive or unfriendly.
