IInvitéOverall, our stay was excellent. We experienced a minor issue at the beginning due to a language barrier. The package stated that free ski access was included daily, but we were initially informed it was only valid once. Fortunately, this was quickly resolved, and we received exactly what was published: free ski access throughout our 3-night stay, daily breakfast and dinner, and one rafting experience which was fantastic value. What truly stood out was the level of assistance from the staff (Emily, Sunny and Ada). As someone who relies heavily on Google Translate to communicate in Mandarin, I really appreciated how patient, helpful, and supportive they were throughout our stay. They assisted us every step of the way. Highly recommended.

__Traveltastic_La chambre est spacieuse et exceptionnellement propre. Nous aimé le lit de style Kang, qui se sentait très authentique et ajoutait un charmant touch de la culture de la Chine du Nord-Est. UUtilisateur anonymeCame back to this hotel again after 2 years. Very clean, comfy and just located in front of 1 of the ski track. Hotel staffs were friendly and provided good service. Hotel was equipped with washing machines & dryers which provided alot of convenience for us. The buffet breakfast was good as well. Although there is a distance to the center of the Resort & main ski center, but there were shuttle buses available every half an hour to fetch us to and fro. Highly recommended as the price is reasonable among the rest and value added is the hotel provided free ski experience & hotspring. We will definitely come back again.

OOlivier22❄️ The hotel is not the most convenient choice for families with young children or for less experienced skiers, as it is located away from the city centre. Guests always need to rely on shuttles or taxis to get around. The city centre is also where the hot springs, water park, and the snow and ice attractions are located, so unfortunately a lot of time is wasted in transport. 🚐 Shuttle service is a clear area for improvement. The frequency is limited, and we often had to wait quite a while—sometimes missing two full shuttles before being able to board. Increasing the number of shuttles would make a big difference. 🎿 Ski passes are flexible: they can be used on any day, including check-in and check-out days. Usage is limited to once per night, and you can choose either daytime or nighttime skiing—but not both on the same day. However, you don’t need to use them on consecutive days, which gives families more freedom to plan rest days. 🏠 On the positive side, the room was spacious and well equipped. The bar, fitness area, ping-pong room, and yoga room were all enjoyable and added variety to the stay. Breakfast is also quite varied and good.

DDianeIngridThis place is amazing. We had a view of the slopes so a definite plus. 😊 Unit is clean and staff are friendly and helpful. Best is that you can just walk out about 100m to the slopes. I did have an issue one night when my room was filled with cigarette smoke so much so we had to sleep with the balcony doors open in sub-zero temperatures. When I feedback the next day, they were extremely apologetic and their customer service contacted me to ask for more info and they sent a fruit platter as an apology. My kids have decided that this is going to be their future destination for skiing because of the convenience as well as the snow conditions. One thing that puzzled all of us though but it didn't distract from the stay. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment. The room with the twin beds seemed to have the bigger and better bathroom with a bathtub. But the room with a big bed had a smaller bathroom and shower stall only. Again, didn't mess anything of our stay up but we were just really puzzled about it.

IInvitéA really beautiful place with quiet and tranquility that allows us to recharge and reset from the hustle and bustle of city life. The location may be a tad far from changbaishan north slope- however, the hotel Concierge - a special shout out to Mr 孙浩熙 for going out for his way and beyond to help us get tickets and made arrangements even on his rest day.  The room is really beautiful and spacious, and it’s only a 10min walk out to get food and necessities. Side note is that the walkway could be better lighted, especially during winter as the dark falls after 5pm; and it was a little scary to walk out then.  In all, high recommended for anyone who needs a rest and have a full recharge! Really love the room and the impeccable service from all the staff :)

LlilsheepWe had a very good stay at the Westin Changbaishan Resort, which is part of the Wanda Ski Resort complex. We were warmly received by butler/assistant No.3 小陈, who ensured our stay was a fulfilling and engaging one. He assisted us with transport bookings and always reached out thru Wechat to see if we needed any help. Although the hardware and fixtures at the Westin are aging, the service staff from the hotel are excellent. We had a good experience at the Club lounge, with happy hour served from 5pm to 7pm and was always served with a smile by the lounge manager and assistants. Housekeeping was also great, and our room also came with a humidifier, which housekeeper always refilled daily. We also enjoyed the complimentary hot spring access (once per stay) but didnt try the water park as the weather was pretty cold. Highly recommend a stay at the Westin if you're coming to Ski/Snowboard at Changbaishan West Slope.
