Nous avons séjourné ici à Ocean Breeze un an avant et nous avons pensé qu'il était excellent. Clean, comfortable, good value and a spot-on location just off The Strand. Une gestion semble malheureusement avoir été sur une mission d'économie de coûts depuis. Un nouveau lecteur de cartes est nécessaire pour le parc car l'entrée dans le parc était un exercice en pleine frustration... notre entrée finale a presque 5 minutes de swipe avant que les portes finalement élevées. Le Wi-Fi dans la chambre était pratiquement inexistant... le signal du restaurant Anelay sur la route était plus fort... et quand vous pouviez connecter la bande largeur était si faible les pages seraient rarement ouvertes. La chambre est très confortable et vous pouvez vous amuser à l'intérieur de la chambre. Non certaine if we'll be backing.

Ils ont aussi une photo bizarre du cimetière sur le mur qui semblait hors de place. J'espérais vraiment que ce serait un nouveau lieu de séjour comme nous sommes souvent à Townsville, la prochaine fois que l'espoir Rydges n'est pas entièrement réservé pour que nous puissions rester là encore.

Le lieu est en train de se trouver sur la plage Le soleil de la plage est très éclatant, et il est très pratique de marcher dans le supermarché dans les cafés. Pour les besoins de la journée, acheter le soleil à la terrasse pour regarder le soleil, avec attention. En ce qui concerne le service, le service de base est supprimé de l'inscription. Vous pouvez garder l'hôtel à l'intérieur de l'Asie-Pacifique et disposer de services de cinq étoiles. En termes de prix, rien ne comprend le prix pour 1000 têtes, et la vérité ne peut être choisie parce qu'il n'y a pas de choix.

Nous avons séjourné à l'hôtel Allen pendant deux semaines au début de l'août 2019. Nous avons trouvé notre chambre propre et confortable. Notre balcon a regardé Gregory Street. Merci Carol, Kim et tous les autres pour faire notre séjour magnifique. Nous avons eu beaucoup de repas de seniors à l'hôtel Allen. Les restaurants sont très bons et très bons. Il n'y a pas de meilleure position à Townsville que cet hôtel. Il est à quelques minutes à pied de The Strand, Queens Park, boutiques et de nombreux restaurants. Lors de notre séjour, il y a eu une exposition lumineuse au Queens Park et un festival d'art (avec une grande musique) au Strand. Nous espérons revenir l'année prochaine. Anne et Peter de Melbourne

I loved this place despite some downsides. It’s in the best area of the island, at walking distance from a stunning beach (Horseshoe bay). I booked it because I’m a digital nomad and Selinas are normally great because they offer a coworking space. The only issue is that I work European hours and I often finish at 9:00pm (as most of digital nomads I guess) but the kitchen closes at 09:00 and all the restaurants in the island close at 09:00pm too. The result is that during the week you cannot eat 😅 that’s not optimal. On top of that Wi-Fi stopped working for one whole evening and the following morning and I was stressing out because I had to send some urgent emails that could not be sent. For the record - there is not even phone signal so you cannot use data as a backup, you really need to rely on the Wi-Fi. Another flaw is that it’s too far away from everything, the only supermarket is 1hr walk (the bus runs only a few times a day) and they don’t even offer a scooter hire service (I had to get the bus and go to the other l’art of the island - it would be great if they organised something for guests). Nevertheless if you’re staying for the weekend it’s totally worth it. The staff is really nice, the restaurant offers good food and the place is just like paradise, it’s in the middle of the koala park. You are immersed by nature and it’s stunning. The dorms have very comfy beds and some have their own bathroom which is great. I am writing what to improve just because this place could be even better and has some room for improvement. But I highly recommend anyone to go (and I am already doing so)

Notre chambre était de bonne taille. Vous pouviez vraiment marcher autour. Salle de bains de bonne taille, mais l'étoile du spectacle était le lit et les pièges. Le meilleur lit roi de taille dans un hôtel que j'ai rencontré. La lave-linge et la cuisine étaient très confortables. La position centrale a fait des choses faciles.

Hotel bien situé, près de plusieurs super restaurants de Palmer Street lui-même. L'hôte chaleureux Jeanette & Peter et le personnel ont fait cette séjour un plaisir. Parking pour notre véhicule de travail en sécurité à l'arrière. Bons chambres propres et service efficacement. We have been using Rydges SouthBank as our home base for quite a few years now due to its close proximity to the Football stadium and it is within walking distance to town and various eating places. We usually stay in the top grade rooms some of which have been updated and some are badly in need of an update. Luck of the draw which room you get allocated although they all cost the same regardless of fittings. We have found the staff to be friendly and helpful most of the time. We enjoy their Buffett breakfast and as Rydges members we get that as a 2 for one deal. Unfortunately their restaurant is no longer operational so the other perks of being Rydges members cannot be used. We do like the undercover off street parking for our car.

We completed a 2 night stay 8th-10th February 2023 and it was the absolute worst! We were moved 4x on the same floor within 2hrs or less of checking in. The attitude from the receptionist was unacceptable. Strongly believe after so many moves, an upgrade offer would have been nice. However, the receptionist made us feel as if we were an inconvenience even though it was the hotel’s fault for having faulty air-conditioning. None of the four rooms were getting cold. We were then offered 2 pedestal fans as if we were staying in a back packers accommodation. The receptionist who “helped” us was very rude. We had organised a late check out for 12pm. On the day of checking out, house keeping and the same receptionist with the attitude, kept coming to disturb us in the room alerting us that it was past check out. This kept happening right until 11:40am. Wifi does not work so my husband had to hot spot from his phone to the tv to access Netflix and Fox channels. Only good thing was room service. Our balcony was inaccessible due to rubble and water constantly coming from the construction work on the higher floors. Did notice a chuck of concrete from the balcony edge missing which did not look safe at all. Overall experience has definitely left a bad impression. Upon check out, manager email was requested and formal complaint is being sent. Do appreciate their small token of an apology by discounting room service bill by 20% for the such rudeness and incompetence of housekeeping and that particular receptionist. Customer service is an absolute must for us and this hotel failed miserably. Definitely take your money elsewhere.
