Hôtels à Otaru avec parking

We booked the best room on the top floor and spent 7 nights at this high end and extremely expensive ryokan/hotel. Here are the pros and cons: PROS: The food is amazing in terms of presentation, gastronomy and service. The place is immaculately clean. The views a fantastic! We got comfortable Yukatas and overall the place has a very nice traditional vibe.  CONS: They seem to be completely inapt in hosting people who don’t speak Japanese. No one speaks English at this place. None at all! They write that we can “press 9 and call the reception”, but once you do it – you can’t have any conversation with anyone at all. Even when you get down in person to the reception, no one can really communicate with you, even with Google Translate.  They exhibit zero flexibility. The approach is – it’s our way or the highway. All is extremely polite, but no left, no right! Can we have a laundry service arranged? The answer is “no!”. Can we communicate with you via WhatsApp or email? – No! Can we come later to breakfast? No. Can we have dinner at a later time, since we can’t come earlier just this one day? No! Basically, if you want to sleep a bit later during your vacation – forget it! Either show up at 8 or 8:30 am for breakfast, or go hungry! Can we buy your Yukata? – No! Also, we were asked to indicate every day what time we intend to go out – something that adds pressure, as  on vacation one may want to improvise, rather than plan ahead their outings.  Given that this place charges exuberant prices, the lack of the most basic hospitality features (communication, laundry, customer-focused flexibility) is astounding! We now staying at another Ryokan, 90 minutes away and see that everyone can speak some English and the place is much more focused on the needs of a foreign traveler, as opposed on preserving the holy rigidity of an existent system. 

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our family had a wonderful stay at UNWIND Hotel Sapporo. The room was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for our family. We loved the cozy atmosphere and the friendly, helpful staff. The breakfast was delicious and a great way to start each day. We also enjoyed the free wine service in the evening, which was a lovely touch and made our stay feel even more special. Parking was convenient and reasonably priced at JPY 1,500 per night, making it easy for us to explore Hokkaido by car. Overall, our family loved this hotel and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended for families and travelers with a rental car!

Il a été un charmant hôtel boutique avec de belles installations bonus! La chambre est bien conçue et fonctionnelle, avec des couleurs chaudes se sentent à la maison et à la conforte. Très mauvais nous n'avons pas obtenu la salle de bains tube comme ils étaient entièrement réservés. Vues de la fenêtre est une zone montagneuse, très jolie! Les lits et les coussins sont confortables. La surface pour les choses sont généreux et pratique, même assez d'espace pour le canapé. Très mauvais qu'ils ne donnent pas de café gratuit ou au moins de café instantané, seulement le thé. Pas de truc. La nuit de la boîte musicale était merveilleuse! Il me semble qu'il y ait un restaurant romantique, mais l'odeur d'huile de lampe était trop, m'a donné une maux de tête, donc je ne pouvais pas rester longtemps, même si je voudrais aider les hôtels et tout le personnel amical et poli en mangeant là-bas. Le personnel est merveilleux, sonrissant et poli et professionnel! Nous avons eu l'impression que le personnel japonais devient un peu froid en général vers les touristes, mais le personnel de cet hôtel n'est pas comme ça! Nous vous apprécions, les gars. Merci.

The hotel is super convenient to the Otaru canal and walking distance to all other locations as well. The breakfast was great, will be better if the daily bf can be different dishes. Excellent to have a massage room service arrangement, appreciated much. And Also, they have gone extra mile to transfer my son's sweatpants to our Sapporo Hotel with an estimation delivery fee lower than they quoted as well. And we got it before check out too. We are very delighted and glad we have chosen Torifito Otaru Canal. Will come to the same hotel if we visit Hokkaido again.

It's an interesting experience as the hotel is situated at the outskirts. The onsen in the room is perfect, with a perfect seat view. Room is pretty old school and big. As the location is pretty remote, there isn't much night activity around. It is pretty kind of the hotel to offer shuttle service to Otaru JR.

Cozy Inn est superbe, peut facilement être atteint par bus ou par voiture. Plusieurs espaces de stationnement. Chambre grande et propre. Près d'Aeon et Daiso. Chaînable au canal si vous ne conduisez pas. Vérifiez la machine d'utilisation et strictement seulement après 3 heures, ne venez pas tôt. Globalement, je recommande très bien!

J'ai séjourné seul et j'ai été entièrement satisfait de tous les aspects de l'hôtel. La chambre était très confortable et impeccablement propre. Les espaces communs offraient une cuisine pratique, un coin repas très propre et un fauteuil de massage à disposition. La propriétaire, qui parle chinois, était absolument charmante et m'a aidé avec patience pour toutes mes questions. Une expérience de séjour parfaite, 10/10 !

Very convenient location if you are into skii/snowboarding. It’s quite centralized to majority of the slopes and only 30mins drive to Otaru town. Only downside there is no food nearby by the hotel itself has 2 restaurant. The Japanese one was superb, good food with reasonable price, sadly only open few days a week.

This apartment offers a practical and comfortable stay, especially for those looking to explore Otaru on foot. We appreciated the basic utensils and cutlery provided, making it easy to prepare simple meals. The thoughtful inclusion of toothbrushes and toothpaste was a nice touch, and the microwave was handy for quick reheats. Comfort is well-addressed with one air-conditioner and a heater, ensuring a pleasant temperature regardless of the weather. The washing machine was a huge convenience, and we had options for drying clothes either on the hanger stand inside the room or on the balcony. The location is a major highlight, being within easy walking distance to both Otaru Canal and Sakaimachi Street. We also found it convenient to have a Lawson and various eateries nearby, though it's a good idea to check their opening hours as they can vary. Important Considerations for Your Stay While the location is excellent, it's important to note that the road leading to the building is steep. This could be particularly challenging if you're driving, and we would not advise driving during winter due to the road conditions. For those with a car, there are two parking areas available. The closer one has three slots, while a slightly further option offers approximately 12 slots. Keep this in mind, especially if you prioritize a closer parking spot.

Positifs: 1. Grand Location chambre de taille décente avec lits de double taille avec un grand espace pour se déplacer autour de la plupart des autres hôtels japonais 2. aime le parking intérieur dans le garage de base, surtout en hiver, aucun nettoyage de neige n'est nécessaire chaque matin. Negatifs: 1. Le levage est hors service, très inconvenant pour les personnes avec de grandes bagages, a dû aller jusqu'au 3ème étage. 2. Faux tapis sur les escaliers, presque trichés sur quelques fois. 3. Le propriétaire ne répond jamais lorsque l'assistance est nécessaire, lors de l'enregistrement, le code de pin est inutile parce que la porte de la chambre est toujours ouverte, la clé est placée sur la table dans la chambre. Essayé de contacter le propriétaire via WeChat WhatsApp appels de ligne aucun des répondu ci-dessus, juste comme l'hôtel est sans manœuvre tout le temps. 4. Un petit incident a eu lieu une matin où l'un des invités a parqué sa voiture devant la porte de garage, qui m'a bloqué la sortie, a dû contacter de nouveau le propriétaire, n'a jamais répondu, n'a pas d'autre choix que de contacter la police pour aider.
