My wife and I came to the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa for a family wedding. Let me say first off, the facility is beautiful. Stunning views are found around every turn. When you first enter the main lobby, there is an open view of the ocean, which is just breathtaking. If you are looking for gorgeous scenery, the Grand Hyatt Kauai will not disappoint. The staff here are incredible. We spent a great deal of time at the pool. Servers speed back and forth between guest taking drink and food orders. I was amazed at how hard and efficiently these people worked. Just spectacular. I mean, what can be easier than sitting on a chaise lounge, placing an order and having food and drink delivered? There are several pools on property. On the top level nearest the hotel is the adult pool. You have to be 14 or older to use the pool. Below this pool is the main pool, which is huge. There are lots of little hidden nooks and a waterfall where you can steal some alone time with your loved ones or friends. A saltwater lagoon/pool is located nearer the ocean. There is also a lazy river if you just want to float peacefully along on the water. The one area that was disappointing was the food. It’s Hawaii, so you have to go in knowing everything is expensive. My wife and I routinely dropped one-hundred dollars on what can best be described as mediocre food. If you eat on property, you are paying a premium for the experience, and receiving less than premium dinning. This is no reflection on the staff, who again are wonderful, it is just the food is meh. We did not eat at the Tide Pools steak house, so they are not included in this review. The overall experience at the Gran Hyatt Kauai is fabulous. Stunning views, attentive staff, top notch service, but the food at the various eateries we ate at was underwhelming and disappointing for the amount of money paid to stay at this lovely resort.

The location is superb. Easy walking distance to restaurants and shops nearby. The pool area for the hotel rooms is gorgeous; the one for the villas is dismal at best. While we stayed at the villa area of the hotel, I can highly recommend staying on the hotel side. The rooms are large and lovely. The villas are a different story. They are very tight, space wise, but nicely outfitted. I really do not care for the bathroom location in the 1 bedroom units. I will say they did a good job using the space they had to with on the villas, they are just very tight. I don’t think I would be comfortable with anymore than 2 people in a 1 bedroom villa. There is not much of a view from the villa section…only those on the top floor are going to get a peekaboo view of the ocean. The most annoying thing about the villa side is the noice from the patios. You can hear everything on everyone’s patio. It just resonates off the pool on the villa side. Everything else, including the exterior grounds and on site restaurants, are excellent.

C'est notre 9e fois au Waiohai, c'est notre part de temps préférée Marriott. Les villas sont confortables et typiques du style de Marriott - votre vue dépend habituellement de si vous êtes propriétaire de Marriott mais nous avons trouvé le personnel très agréable - ils nous ont offert une bonne vue dans un bâtiment avec une marche plus longue qui vaut bien notre La vue était magnifique! Le bar Honu propose un petit menu mais de bonnes nourritures (J'ai aimé ma boisson spéciale mais mon mari et mon ami pensaient que leur étaient très légères sur l'alcool et pas très bonne) - les serveurs sont amis et il est amusant de manger là-bas pendant que vous regardez l'océan et Il y a des grills bbq si vous voulez griller, ce que beaucoup de gens font. Il y a 3 piscines -- une piscine de relaxation (pas pour les enfants) qui est bonne pour les baignoires (comme vous échapper aux adultes qui sont là et parlent pendant des heures), la grande piscine qui est occupée mais suffisamment de place pour nager, La plage est très douce (qui ne peut que vous mettre vos pieds dans la plage), ce qui a été dit, les terrains offrent une grande chambre pour votre chaise de salon, ombre, soleil, magnifique vue sur l'océan. La plage est un peu petite mais vous pouvez marcher sur la plage de comté où vous trouverez des tortues de mer et des scellés de monge et beaucoup de gens qui profitent du bon snorkeling. Nous avons vraiment aimé Courtney qui a enseigné la classe aérobie de l'eau et aussi une spécialité de yoga/Tai Chi/Hula -- Courtney enseigne la culture hawaienne et nous avons vraiment apprécié l'occasion d'en apprendre. Nous pensons que le Waiohai offre la meilleure expérience Marriott du vrai Kauai et nous attendons avec impatience de revenir l'année prochaine!

Deux des six sont restés à Kauai pendant dix jours. J'ai séjourné à l'hôtel les deux premiers jours et j'ai décidé de l'essayer. L'expérience était bonne. Je suis resté quatre jours et je voulais terminer mon vol pour Maui. Discutons-en et voulons rester et vivre encore quatre jours. Le forfait petit-déjeuner matinal de l'hôtel est de 20 $ par personne et par jour au restaurant, et le reste est payé pour lui-même. Le petit déjeuner est bon. Le deuxième jour de notre arrivée, nous avons constaté que l'équipement de cuisine dans la chambre était très bon, nous sommes donc allés au supermarché de l'île pour acheter les ingrédients pour cuisiner nous-mêmes. Nous avons fait des lambeaux de pommes de terre, de la viande frite au chili, des œufs brouillés à la tomate, des aubergines au poivron vert et de la pâte de maïs. Je cuisine du porridge, du riz dans une petite casserole en acier inoxydable et j'utilise de la sauce piquante japonaise au supermarché avec des pancakes et des oignons verts. L'homme au ventre chinois est plus satisfait. Pendant mon temps libre, je suis allé à la librairie rouge en ligne de l'île et j'ai acheté la version anglaise de la première version en 1999. Liberty, et un chat rouge net. L'hôtel a une belle piscine, mais il n'y a pas de plage. Nous avons couru tous les jours jusqu'à la plage voisine de l'hôtel Sheraton pour regarder le coucher de soleil et jouer au surf aquatique. La chambre d'hôtel dispose d'un canapé trois places pour les adultes et des lits supplémentaires sont disponibles gratuitement, mais nous n'utilisons que le canapé. lit. L'hôtel dispose d'un parking gratuit et il est très pratique de se garer n'importe où. Bref, ça va nous manquer ici.

Un très bon endroit pour rester une fois que vous avez bu le prix. L'hôtel était très propre. Les gens amis et ils sont très flexibles. Vérifiez à 10 heures mais ils hébergent des bagages et offrent une chambre d'hôpital pour 30 minutes pour nettoyer après cela. Ils nous ont permis d'utiliser les installations du resort toute la journée après avoir vérifié.
