Hôtels acceptant les animaux domestiques à Puerto de la Cruz

Un séjour impeccable dans cet hôtel, un personnel à la hauteur, souriant et très courtoix, une chambre simple, mais bougrement efficace, une nourriture très bonne, faites maison, avec de la variétée... Bref, tous ce qu'on demande pour un 5 étoiles. Je voulais aussi remercier l'équipe de ménage très efficace, et super aimable, qui donnait des petits chocolats à chaque visite. Qu'ils en soient remercier dans cet avis. Je recommande vivement, je reviendrais avec plaisir !

Mainly I did not expect the 'hotel' to be a residential block with people living there with their dogs who travelled in the lifts with us. Cockroaches in our rooms. Very hot in rooms and no A/C - a fan available for just one of the rooms our families stayed in. The pool area was very basic with ****s and all overgrown grass. The breakfast was very good value and the basic rooms were cleaned well . I added this review now as 'On The Beach' has advised me to look on trip trip advisor before booking which of course I did but could find nothing about it being a residential block with pets.

Wanted to be sure as possible of a good break after a harrowing year so I read many hundreds of reviews before selecting the Monopol for a two week stay in March, and I am delighted I did! The perfect location and architecture are already well covered so I will move straight on to the negative issues raised in other reviews of which most (though not all) turned out to be unfounded. Like any hotel which never closes its doors the rooms, by necessity, are refurbished on a rotating basis. The room I was given was clearly recently renovated, lovely shower and plenty of storage, basic but attractive furniture and two single beds pushed together. No kettle, limited tv channels and poor in-room wi-fi (free wi-fi works perfectly in the beautiful patio area) but for a 3* hotel a lovely room all round. A special thank you to the cleaning staff who did a wonderful job and made me feel so at home! Despite being close to the old centre, crowd noise was never an issue. The hotel is not really on a main thoroughfare and the excellent street music was never intrusive. The church does chime the quarter hours from 7 am till 11pm but after a couple of days is just seemed to fade into the pleasant ambience. Rooms not facing the church would probably barely hear it. The free breakfast buffet is copious and extensive, but I think even Oliver would decide that one serving was enough. As a Brit I have to say that the bacon was an affront to the pig that provided it, and the sausage (if indeed it could be classed as sausage) an abomination. Plenty of fresh fruit and various cheese and processed meat slices if that’s your thing. Unlimited cereals to top up on as a backstop. Bread is thoughtfully provided stale for easy toasting. Coffee and juice machines are actually quite good, though busy even in the quiet period of my visit. There is a restaurant, the ‘Don Carlos’ which operates in a portion of the hotel and is clearly associated with it, but which the hotel seems reluctant to acknowledge. Understandably perhaps as it is a total tourist trap, leeching off the hotels beautiful location and providing awful, overpriced meals to passing trade (I suspect they probably have the breakfast contract). There are 50 better dining places within a 10 minute walk. But (rant over) I would recommend the Monopol unreservedly as the perfect base for a visit to Puerto de la Cruz for those who are not looking for a 24-hour Ibiza type experience or a luxury spa hotel with hot and cold running flunkies. For £1000 a week more you would perhaps get a better breakfast and probably a kettle, but you would find yourself in a characterless chrome and glass citadel perched high above the town, isolated from the beautiful beach and downtown area by a gruelling 30-minute hike. It is said that location is everything and the best location in Puerto de le Cruz is the Monopol hotel.

Hôtel très bien situé à Puerto de la Cruz en bord de mer. Nous avions un balcon vue mer avec magnifique coucher de soleil. Excellente qualité prix pour cette vue! Taxi juste à côté et plein de boutiques/restaurants autour. Nous étions en semi-pension avec buffets déjeuner et souper. Beaucoup de choix , varié mais rien de très gastronomique. Nous avons tout de même adoré les poissons cuisinés et la savoureuse papaye au déjeuner. Côté négatif, le décor des chambres et de l’immeuble en général date des années 80. Tout était cependant très propre et bien entretenu. Au moment où nous y étions (mai 2023) , les résidents étaient majoritairement des retraités âgés en vacances mais il y avait quelques familles et plus jeunes. Nous avons même assisté au petit spectacle de danse/chant traditionnel gratuit un soir. C’était très bien. Nous étions 2 amies en vacances et nous étions à Tenerife pour profiter de la nature et non de l’Hotel. Cela nous a donc satisfait. Cependant ce n’est peut-être pas l’hôtel pour y séjourner pour une lune de miel luxueuse. L’hôtel moderne tout rénové voisin ( et probablement $$$) conviendra plus à ceux qui sont habitués à des standards élevés.

Recently stayed at this beautiful hotel for 4 nights (16th to 19th January) in a fabulous location overlooking the beach and surrounding area of Puerto de la Cruz. We booked a Superior Room with Sea View and were not disappointed. Fabulous views from our balcony. Very welcoming staff on Reception, beautiful well maintained grounds, beautiful roof top pool area with adjoining Restaurant. First class food great quality in Restaurant and buffet breakfast (absolutely everything you could ask for and so fresh) locally produced. Rooftop Restaurant for lunch was fabulous. Menus extensive and all cooked fresh. Restaurant Staff Exceptional, courteous and friendly. Plenty of room around the pool, and no-one getting up early to bag a bed. Top Class Hotel and Staff. Just one minor point to make and this is not a criticism, we would like tea/coffee making facilities in the room. It's just our personal preference to get up early in the morning and sit on the beautiful balcony watching the world go buy listening to the waves crash with a cup of tea or coffee before going down to the fabulous breakfast buffet. Les appartements sont vieux, mais ils sont bons. Le personnel de réception est très gentil. La situation est très bonne, vous avez la plage et la gare des bus à 2 minutes à pied. Il a une petite cuisine équipée de la base (même si pour moi il faut des micro-ondes).

hôtel très bien placé, propre, accueillant malgré le soucis à notre arrivée, 3 chambres réservées et qu'une seule disponible ! la réceptionniste a fait ce qu'elle pouvait pour régler le soucis le temps qu'on dine et tout le monde a pu trouver sa chambre . les buffets sont variés et bons dommage que les boissons soient payantes, le personnel est gentil. parking payant 10e par nuit, attention pas très facile à entrer en van, bar à disposition sans plus, animation en journée et soirée et agence pour les excursions à disposition dans le hall tous les jours.
