Nous avons séjourné à Edgewater pendant 12 jours dans le cadre d'un scout de vacances et de travail et c'était au-delà de tout ce que nous attendions. La chambre de base était parfaite pour nos besoins avec un climatisation très grande, qui est essentiel et complimentaire buffet continental tropical petit déjeuner chaque matin. Nous avons une chambre étonnante qui était au 3ème étage derrière le restaurant avec vue sur la piscine, la mer et des jardins étonnants de notre fenêtre et de notre balcon. Le personnel était si grand, toujours heureux et ne pouvait pas faire plus pour nous, y compris nous voir marcher autour de l'île et nous donner des courses dans leur véhicule personnel et leur temps personnel. Le restaurant a été très bien utilisé et nous avons mangé le restaurant et nous avons utilisé le bar. Nous reviendrons certainement, je ne pense pas que nous aurions voulu rester ailleurs! Mes seuls négatifs étaient que nous avions une chambre qui semblait être raccordée à une autre par une porte double, mais quand quelqu'un était dans cette chambre, il n'était pas de preuve de son et était très lourd. Les clients qui ont passé deux nuits là-bas étaient malheureusement louds jusqu'à l'heure des soirées, de sorte que je ne suis pas resté réveillé.

Cet hôtel est très économique, particulièrement adapté pour voyager avec des enfants ou des familles. Il est proche de la plage sur la plage. L'emplacement du restaurant est super. L'emplacement de l'hôtel est très bon, il faut réserver une chambre avec vue sur la mer, le paysage du lagon est superbe, ne convient pas aux enfants, la piscine est très petite, beaucoup de cailloux sur la plage ne sont pas des plages, le lagon est très peu profond les enfants peuvent faire de la plongée mais il y a pas de poisson. Le jour de l'enregistrement, l'hôtel a indiqué que la zone des chambres avec vue sur la mer n'accepte pas les enfants. Après la boutique de communication Ctrip, il faut changer pour la salle côté piscine. La réception a aménagé une chambre avec vue sur la mer. Le processus est quelque peu flou. Les installations de l'hôtel sont relativement simples et anciennes, le restaurant n'est pas grand, les plats ne sont pas nombreux, le petit-déjeuner est simple à l'occidentale et il y a des fruits comme la papaye et l'orange. Le personnel de la réception et du restaurant est très accueillant. La location de voiture est pratique, et il est pratique de réserver une excursion d'une journée. Rarotonga est très petite. Il y a deux bus dans le sens horaire et antihoraire. L'hôtel monte et descend à l'entrée de l'hôtel et il faut environ une heure pour faire le tour de l'île. À dix minutes de l'aéroport, la réception aide à réserver un taxi pour l'aéroport pour 30 $. L'hôtel est globalement satisfaisant et envisagera de rester.

Booked a Luxury Escapes 7 night package and upgraded to the Beachfront Villa. So glad that we did. Our first floor villa was SPECTACULAR. Beautiful sun-rise view, great spot for afternoon drinks and most nights we slept with the doors and curtains opened so we could hear the ocean gently lapping onto the beach below. The bed was super-king sized and very comfortable. The bathroom recently renovated, so very modern and beautiful. Unfortunately for us, we arrived very early in the morning on Jetstar. We therefore got to the Resort very early, but the staff accommodated us with our WiFi access and we went to the Barefoot Bar/Sandals Restaurant, where we were able to purchase a delicious breakfast. The staff did their very best and we were able to check into our room around noon. We were so tired we slept the afternoon away but we had booked into Sandals for dinner. Our package included 3 x 2 course dinners each. The menu was not overly extensive, but we tried most on the menu and all was delicious. My other half discovered the Prawn Linguine on night 2, so that was it for him - DELICIOUS. I tried the lamb rack, chicken pasta and eye fillet - with the beef being as good as we get in AUS. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and well maintained. EVERY staff member greats you with Kia Orana EVERY time you pass. Every staff member we interacted with were just incredible, and although I hate to name just a few, I would be remiss in not thanking Aunty Mona, Joel, and Ashleigh in being assets to the organization. We also booked a couples massage at the sister resort, which was great. The only negative would be, when paying so much for a room, surely full breakfast could be included. And it really is a family resort, so can be quite loud at breakfast, and wow, those kids can devour the pastries as soon as they hit the basket. We did not use the pool once (was very noisy when we walked past “Marco” “Polo”) but when you have the Muri Lagoon in the front yard, who needs a pool !

Upon arrival, the initial impression of CROWN BEACH RESORT & SPA may leave you feeling a little uncertain. The property appears a bit tired, with empty ponds that seem to have been out of order for some time. A glance at the gym reveals a decently sized space with free weights, but unfortunately, it's in need of maintenance. Moving on to the villa, however, the experience takes a turn for the better. The private courtyard with a swimming pool is delightful, clean, tidy, and well presented. The villa itself is spacious, featuring a comfortable king size bed, a relaxing sitting area, a convenient kitchenette, and a spacious bathroom. It provides all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The main swimming pool offers beautiful surroundings and views of the sea, and the fact that it's consistently empty meant that we were able to enjoy it to ourselves on most days. The staff at CROWN BEACH RESORT & SPA was a mixed bag. While some seemed disinterested, others went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. This inconsistency was a bit disappointing. When it comes to dining, the food was a hit or miss. The quality varied from day to day, with some meals being bland and others absolutely delicious. Internet access was limited to the reception or bar area, and even there, it was slow yet expensive and unreliable. This could be frustrating for guests who need to stay connected during their stay. As for the beach, it was just okay, not particularly snorkel friendly, for better options, a 10-kilometer journey south was necessary. (We hired e-bikes from across the road and 10-20mins later - there’s decent beaches to choose) In conclusion, CROWN BEACH RESORT & SPA has its highlights, such as the lovely villa and the serene main pool, but there are areas that need improvement, like the maintenance of facilities and the consistency of the staff and dining experience. For those seeking a peaceful - adults only retreat, it has its charms, but for a more well-rounded resort experience, there may be better options available. 6 out of 10

Le salon était très confortable, le salon était très confortable et le salon était très confortable. La chambre était équipée d'une machine à laver et d'un sèche-linge qui était très confortable. Le personnel a servi notre chambre tous les jours et a fait un travail si merveilleux pour le servir, toujours laissant la propre. La piscine et le spa étaient agréables pour le refroidissement et la nage. Le personnel était super agréable!!! Je resterais certainement ici si je fais un autre voyage à Raro.
