L'hôtel lui-même est aussi un atout, juste au bord de l'église. Le corridor de retour est plus facile à perdre. Vous devez trouver la bonne direction avant de sortir de l'ascenseur. Chaque coin de l'hôtel est très ancien, rien n'est prévu pendant une journée vide, je peux rester à l'hôtel. Pas pendant la semaine de l'automne, le check-in à 8 heures du matin est prêt à la chambre. C'est trop surprenant, je suis pressé de sortir de la porte et de sortir clair. Le petit-déjeuner est également très bon, bien que le petit-déjeuner n'est pas grand, mais il y a un bar.

Clásico hotel de los años 80/90 algo desfasado pero manteniendo un glamour que le hace atractivo. No tiene rampas para subir las maletas y resulta francamente incómodo porque tiene muchos escalone como se aprecia en una de las fotos. y pese a ser un 5 estrellas no tienen a nadie en la puerta para ayudar. Habitaciones amplísimas como ya no se ven. Wifi potente. Desayuno algo caro para lo que ofrecen (18€) y parking público en el mismo edificio. Precios razonables aunque lógicamente en función a la demanda y temporalidad.

Situé au milieu de parcs et jardins l hôtel n est qu à 20 minutes de la Place de la Cathédrale. Superbement équipé et avec un personnel vraiment très agréable j ai pu profité de cette journée pour récupérer de mes dernières étapes longues du chemin. Télé avec des chaînes françaises .. utile pour se remettre dans le bain. Mesures COVID très suivies ( pas de mini bar et restriction de la restauration). Excellent petit déjeuner. Utile a savoir : a moins de 15 minutes a pied de la gare routière des autobus

Hôtel très correct, juste à l'extérieur de Santiago. Idéal pour les séjours de travail, pas tant pour le tourisme si vous souhaitez vous rendre au centre-ville car il est à 10 minutes en voiture. Propre et neuf, peu d'équipements supplémentaires (pas de piscine) mais c'est une bonne option. Nous y sommes allés en famille et la chambre pour 2 adultes et 2 enfants est grande et confortable. Nous répéterions.

À la première vue. Après cinq jours d'être à l'hôtel ”Porta del Camino”, je vous dirai quelque chose, l'arrivée à première vue est spectaculaire, plein de lumière, grand, bons ”tertulias” très bien situés de telle sorte que ne interrompez pas l'entrée ou la sortie des clients avec Les bagages, une grande réception, et je ne sais pas exactement, mais à l'oeil, environ 140 chambres. Tout cela a généré dans mon soupçon : ¡Nous ne nous reposerons pas si bruyant, à la pointe des gens, et à des fêtes de Noël! Nous avons rencontré un hôtel le plus chaud, discret, avec un personnel parfait, des chambres confortables, impecable et silencieux, nous avons fait sentir comme si nous étions les seuls clients, le dernier jour était année vieille ... il y avait fête ... il était normal ... Nous sommes arrivés à notre chambre ... et silence absolue. Vous vous demanderez pourquoi de tout cela, et c'est que lorsque quelque chose nous dérange, nous protestons immédiatement et les plaintes sont souvent habituelles, de ce que vous considérez juste, d'avoir une expérience positive et aimable pour tout le monde qui va à Santiago de Compostela et si vous cherchez la tranquillité, ou la fête, c'est votre hôtel. ¡ Merci à tout le personnel!.

Firstly can I just say the Receptionists, Susi, Andrea and Juan were so friendly and helpful. They are a complete asset to this hotel as there is no bar or lounge area, so their attentiveness is a must. The hotel itself is in a shopping centre on the outskirts of Santiago. The walk to the Cathedral and centre is probably about 30 minutes and a lot of that is uphill. If you don't think you can manage the walk, there are regular buses outside hotel and also a taxi rank. The room we were allocated was a suite ( thank you for upgrade). It was very large and had a sofa area and there was a jacuzzi bath too. The shower head which was in the bath pointed towards the opposite end of the bath so bracket could do with being changed but that said, the water was always hot. The heating in the room was on a hotel timer and the radiators only came on at about 7.45pm, so the room was cold if you were showering before then. Maybe the management can look into changing this in winter/ spring months to an earlier time? The housekeeping was great with fresh towels and cleaning daily.The breakfast was Continental style with a good selection. My only problem was that the lady who worked on service etc had a very unfriendly manner about her. I arrived at 10.25 am on Monday morning for a cup of tea and just to have a Danish.(Breakfast served until 10.30 am)She rudely informed me that they were closed and when I asked could I take a cup of tea to my room( in my own mug) she told me it would cost me €2!! Considering there are no hospitality trays in the rooms I found that to be ridiculous. She was the only member of staff that let this hotel down. Otherwise it's a very affordable, clean hotel to stay in when in Santiago de Campostela.

Chose this hotel for overnight as on outskirts of SDC for easy get away next morning. Situated high on a hill the rooms face the courtyard or the pool/ tennis court, town and busy road. Super easy parking. Decor is a bit 80s time warp, but the hotel has a slightly faded grand hotel layout with sitting areas about, wide corridors and spacious rooms. we took a family room so we had 2 double beds for a bit more space rather than 2 small singles. Due to Covid the room was a bit *****ped down...no kettle, minibar, robes, slippers, notepad etc. Very clean. Got a complimentary bottle wine but no corkscrew to open it. Good basic buffet breakfast with plastic gloves to wear to use buffet. Simón, who checked us in was charming and very helpful giving us all the useful info. Good wifi. Did hear some noise from nearby room with kids going crazy but just a few hours in the evening. Wonderful huge size bath. Great linen and pillows and very comfy bed made for good nights sleep. Would use again. If you want to open windows ask for a room facing the courtyard so there is no road noise. Room service limited hours but came fast and was delicious. Very good value for what we paid and a great night's sleep.

We would have rated this hotel a 4 but for the location. It is situated a 12 minute walk from the old town, too far to be going backwards and forwards to the town and there is a feeling of being out of things. As it is on the busy N550 this also is a drawback. Having said all that the hotel itself is fine. The rooms are perfectly clean and comfortable. The breakfast was also all you could wish for.

Le style de la substance - séjour d'une nuit après marche du Camino. Quatrième étage - petite fenêtre haut de haut, donc aucune vue et enveloppée ; aucune information sur soit - oui 2 caisses dans le réservoir- donc aucune idée quantes chiffres ont besoin, etc; douche - v v v marginal entre courir v chaud ou froid, Impossible d'obtenir une température moyenne; deuxième douche ne pouvait pas obtenir le bouchon de douche (vous tiré sous le tapis) pour rester ainsi devait laver en 2 pouces d'eau dans la baignoire - donc apparence sur la pratique. Le code QR vous emmène à l'information de l'hôtel - abondant avec cela et utilisant la batterie de téléphone / espace etc plus a dû aller à la réception pour le code wifi comme non dans la chambre.

Dernier hôtel de notre ”camino” surement le plus remarquable de par sa situation à 2 pas de la cathédrale et de part le fait qu'il se situ dans un monastère. les chambres sont d'un confort monacal, se sont d'anciennes cellule de moine. la literie confortable, pas de télé, la salle d'eau bien équipée, un petit bémol sur la cabine de douche si vous êtes ”imposant”. pas de repas le soir, petit déjeuner là aussi monacal: un café, un jus de fruit, du pain, du beurre, un morceau de gâteau. Le lieu respire le calme et la sérénité et cela fait un bien fou à l'arrivée du Camino

I have stayed in this hotel many many times. It has been my favorite place to rest after a couple of long weeks on The Camino de Santiago. The place is centrally located in Plaza de Galicia. The bus from the airport, stops in front of the hotel, making it extremely convenient. The bus station and the train station are a short 10 minutes walk away. The staff, Mr. Victor, Mr. Ramon, Mr. Ramon, and Jessica, make sure everything is great. THANK for everything you have done to make sure my Camino ended with a wonderful experience. Looking forward to be back in 2023!!

We stayed here at the end of our camino. The rooms were perfect to relax and recuperate after a long trek. Clearly recently refurbished the fittings are great and the rooms were very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean worth plenty of space and a good quality shower. It's at the edge of the old town so a bit of a walk down town but this also means it's peaceful and quiet for a great night's sleep! The staff were all friendly and very helpful. Proche de la Praza de Galicia, c’est un point de départ idéal pour visiter la cathédrale et le centre ville historique à pieds. Très bon accueil à notre arrivée. Jolie chambre propre avec mini bar, bouilloire etc. Le petit-déjeuner est complet, buffet avec du choix. Nous avons été enchantés par notre séjour et nous y reviendrons volontiers lors d’un prochain séjour.

Location très confortable près de Praza de Galicia, à pied du centre ville et du transbordeur à l'aéroport de Rúa do Horreo. Beau petit café sur le sol. Réception est au premier étage. Installations modernes et très propre chambre. La chambre est très confortable et la télévision est de bonne taille, mais nous n'avons pas utilisé la chambre.
