We stayed at Sinalei Reef Resort for a few nights after a horrible experience at the Tanoa Hotel in Apia. Our initial thoughts were to escape the issues we had at the Tanoa Hotel of Dirty Rooms, Rude staff, Poor Food menus and Rude staff. We had looked on line and reviewed Sinalei as a place we could indulge in before flying back to Fiji on our way back to Sydney. How wrong were we to choose Sinalei. Not only was it triple the price per night but fell way below our expectations. Where do I start on the negatives........We arrived, took an hour for them to check us in, lady that checked us in was pleasant but had no idea on time, we were then handed our Key, they had no electronic keys to rooms, we found our way to a beach bungalow, gardens were nicely manicured but the room was DATED, DATED, very old and in need of a refurbishment, for he prices they charge this was not HIGH END, MORE 2 STAR. Ive travelled the world with my wife and this was below par. Im big on fresh crisp linen but am afraid Sinalei had old duvets, old pillows which you could smell the mustiness of the previous guest, pillows were old, mouldy. Sheets old as well as seemed they had Been there for years on end. Open aired tower was full of mosquitos and at night where you had the lights on in the room attached an array of colourful insects including centrerpedes and millipedes. Pool area was lovely and fresh. Bar service at Uncle Harrys bar was poor, had to go up each time and ask the bar staff to serve you a drink, much of the Time they were playing Island music which was fine but if your paying top dollars you would expect decent service. We at all our meals here, not bad but not fresh either. I had the steak and my partner the fish on our first night, both items were not fresh at all. Took nearly two hours for the mains to come and were were one of three couples dining. Next day we had breakfast and I ordered the eggs scrambled, Im pretty sure the eggs were pre powdered eggs as this did not taste like scrambled eggs. On our last day we met the owner as he said he was, my partner food him very sleezy, elderly chap who took more attention to her then our comments and views on how he could better the resort. Overall a nice setting but rooms need a major upgrade, major as it is not 5 start but more 2 star, service needs a major overhaul as does the POOR FOOD. Dated................and NOT WORTH THE MONEY THEY ARE CHARGING.

The staff are very friendly and helpful and make you feel like family. Good choice of food as there are 2 restaurants to eat from. The strung band that entertained us was amazing. The guys had voices of angels. This is a Samoan family owned business, and it was lovely that the head of the family greets everybody individually and makes you feel so welcome. The staff are amazing, nothing is a problem and they have the best cuppacino on the island. One of the baristas is the top in Samoa officially! The room was lovely in the garden view. Beach was amazing! Swept daily! Snorkel gear and kayaks are available to use. A big resort with lots of different kinds of accommodation available. As a solo traveller, I felt safe and cared for, and met some amazing staff and guests. Brilliant for families and kids of all ages. Transport to and from airport. Free parking for hire cars, I recommend this resort!

Je voudrais remercier le beau personnel de l'île de Furman pour avoir fait mon voyage de temps trop samoa, avec des gens beaux et amis par exemple. Patricia et tumama avec votre beau accueil tous les matins et la dame qui fait la maison garde 4x étoiles aussi vous les gars sont beau et propre par exemple. Elina et table.ensuite le grand service et la nourriture au restaurant grands gars de travail .aurait tout de sorte que les gardes de la nuit toujours amical le matin après avoir travaillé toute la nuit vous avez fait ma visite de délai à ce beau lieu si bien plus agréable Merci encore.

L'hôtel était comme un beau bagage pour les adultes et nous avons apprécié cette. Les chambres étaient propres, fonctionnelles et disposent de toutes les installations nécessaires. Bien que ce soit un peu petit, cela était OK. Nous avons séjourné dans la chambre 8 en bas. Il était de la valeur pour de l'argent. Le restaurant est très confortable et très confortable. La location était bonne, puisqu'elle ne se trouve que 5 minutes de marche du centre-ville et sur la Cross Island Road pour le jour où nous sommes allés à la maison et aux jardins de Robert Louis Stevenson. Il y avait un espace pour 5 voitures dans le parc et 2 dans la rue et c'était OK, car il y avait toujours un parking disponible pour nous. L'hôtel est très confortable et très confortable. Ils vous ont demandé de retirer vos chaussures en marchant dans la zone de réception qui était une douleur car mes chaussures étaient propres et je pense qu'il y a un risque d'infection fongique à marcher autour de pieds bar. Il y avait des pierres à l'extérieur et ils étaient grossiers sur des pieds simples si nécessaire pour s'écrouler entre la réception et les dessous.

Il a été très bien, il a été très bien, il a été très bien, il a été très bien, il a été très bien. La chambre était très petite et le couvercle de la caisse était couvert de tiges de sueur brun. Le personnel a été très heureux de l'avoir fait savoir que la chambre était très propre et que la dame que j'ai parlée était très reconnaissante de l'avoir fait savoir. Dans l'ensemble, cet hôtel est confortable pour la plupart des choses du centre-ville.

The worst accommodation experience we had during our entire visit to Samoa. Please do not book with them. Prior to booking, I checked the bad reviews and spotted a few that had me in two minds. However, I proceeded to book it due to the photos, location, advertising, price and the good reviews. We had booked a 'deluxe suite'. Well we arrived at 1030pm after a late flight in, was shown to our room by one of the cuzzys of the accommodation. We walked into a 1 double bed, 1 towel, stinky as all s@@t bathroom not to mention how dirty it was. So I gave it all a quick clean, went to the toilet...the toilet moved from under me as the whole bloody seat was broken. There wasn't alot we could do, so my partner 6ft4, my son and I all shared the bed and towel the next morning. Unfortunately, I had booked our final 3 nights there, long story short we had asked for a refund...we were told they would not charge for the first night and would discount it off the other 3 nights. To their defence, they apologized for the 'mishap', however we wanted a full refund of the other 3 nights as we did not want to come back....another long story short...we have been told that there will be no refund. We are staying at another hotel, while paying for moatoga. I'm so ropeable,don't do it to yourselves. It's a dive! I wish I had taken photos!
