Small complex with pool. Rooms are really small and not great in terms of being up to date . There’s no microwave or toaster it’s a grill with hob rings on the top. Not many sun loungers in the sun , so if it was packed it’s unlikely you’d get one. Air con available at an extra charge which was welcomed. Pool really clean and snack bar available too. Location was fantastic, short walk into town past many bars and restaurants. Rooms were serviced every day. Was quite expensive for what it was, but you are paying for an excellent location and I guess the pricing is down to the your operator and not the accommodation owner.

My tour operator did not pass on my request for a ground floor room but this was sorted the following morning Everyone was very helpful and I got a lovely ground floor room. I have mobility problems and this is one of the best places I've stayed in, all the staff and owners were lovely, hot water, easy to access shower and excellent wi fi. Thank you everyone .

Currently sat at the Somnia awaiting a taxi to the airport. This hotel was great from start to finish. When we arrived there was a mix up with the room ( our fault) Kiki, Andreas and Kostas sorted the situation out which we were very grateful for. The room was cleaned every day, the staff were very helpful and the hotel is in a great location. Hope to come back next year. Thank you to all of the staff for making our stay so wonderful. Hope to see you next year

This place Well where do I start. Owners very rude and unhelpful Rooms very small and claustrophobic. Sunbeds round the pool very uncomfortable. Very bad drains smell. There are much better places in skiathos to stay.

Swift check in and showed to our room. The room was absolutely boiling hot. We put the aircon on immediately which proved to be next door to useless. It was on 17 and should have been cold. It wasn't. We couldn't leave it on whilst we were out as we were only given 1 key. We had hardly any sleep at all in our week there as the room was too hot. The bed was a double bed but a small one. We are normal size adults and quite frankly struggled with sleeping in it. We even top and tailed !!! We've been to Skiathos loads of times and decided to stay in town on this occasion for a change. We loved it but not the hotel. Worse room we've ever stayed in.

horrible staff not helpful at all. no breakfast no warm water to shower terrible wifi connection. would not recommend going there. spend your money wiser. we paid for breakfast and only had one option.

Great hotel run by a lovely family that are always helpful and on hand for anything you might need. The hotel is located literally two minutes walk from Skiathos town, and from all the amenities restaurants supermarket shops etc. The airport is just a 3 minute drive away and the location is probably the best in the island. We had the family room which had a queen bed, and also a living room with a convertible couch, a good size fridge, a microwave, and hop. The room was clean and literally had everything you needed and was ideal for a family of four. in the premises there is a swimming pool and a pool bar which our kids enjoyed a lot All in all great clean room , perfect location and great value for money. Thank you Kostas and family Looking forward to see you again in our next visit in Skiathos

Lovely small and friendly hotel a few minutes walk for the New and Old Ports. Basic facilities, but had everything you needed and was very clean. Staff also friendly and helpful would happily stay again. Only negative was the sunbeds are incredibly uncomfortable, it would be easy to solve this by providing cushions or similar to make them more comfortable.

This is the second consecutive year we have stayed at the Somnia, something as a couple we have never done before, but Kostas and Helen are such hospitable hosts, the hotel is clean and quiet, it's in a fabulous location, everything is so easy, we had to come back. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to stay in the heart of Skiathos town, as it's close to the bus stop and airport and has brilliant bars and restaurants all within walking distance. Thanks Kostas, Helen and Paris (their fabulous little dog)
