Great location, hotel is in shocking condition! Room was incredibly tired and not clean. But it was cheap!

High recommend Very welcoming environment lovly staff food and stay was amazing no complaints from our end the veiw was amazing from our balcony sea veiw room was breath taking couldn’t of ask for a better night stay definitely going to book again

Rooms are a bit run down and carpets definitely need redoing ,but lovely service,very welcoming and hospitable.price can be good depending on what days and season but overall a lovely little place to stay. It’s a 10 minute walk to the beach and 4 minutes from the train station

The view of the room is so fantastic, I really had a good time there

Hotels ok for a weekend slash couple of days in st. Ives as it is very local to everything within walking distance. Hotel appears to have had its day, needs a lot of love attention. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Didn’t eat there but there are facilities to eat if you need to I used the bar but the wine was served an hot glass that appeared just to have come out of the dishwasher but was somehow still dirty and smeared. Bed was comfortable and shower was hot, room could do with new carpets and a repaint. The whole place could do with new carpets, a repaint and love and attention. The details are being missed.

Location is decent near to the train station and walking distance to all the shops/restaurants. Parking is difficult in St Ives during peak times and the hotel only has a small amount of spaces free at the back of the hotel or if you’re lucky you could park on the street outside. Rooms are very basic.

Location is amazing. Town is a quick few minutes, train station is about 5 minutes, as well as the beach. Hotel itself is worn and needs a revamp. Stay for the location and not much more.

This convenience added an extra layer of ease to our holiday. On top of everything, the hotel’s rates were budget-friendly, offering excellent value for such a great location and amenities. For couples seeking a comfortable and scenic getaway, The St Ives Bay Hotel is a wonderful option that doesn’t break the bank. We’d love to return!

The location is perfect, you just take 5 5-minute walk to the train station. However, the room appears to be quite old compared to the picture provided on the website. Especially in the bathroom, which makes me feel like it is not well prepared before the guests arrive.

Very great location. Porthminster beach and train station are just in front of the hotel.

Great location. Basic hotel but can’t complain for the price we paid. The view was amazing over Porthminster Beach and the station, 

The check-in was easy and quick. Paul was very welcoming and helpful. Good experience. The cupboard in the room was not cleaned and could see sticky cup marks.

The location was superb, with easy access to Porthminster Beach and the train station right across from the hotel. There is also a paid parking space available. It’s a 15-minute walk to shops and restaurants, which is convenient. As for the hotel itself, you get what you pay for. The service could use some improvement. Our room wasn’t cleaned daily, and when we arrived, the electric fan, table, and small purple cushion were dusty and dirty. Additionally, our left luggage was stored in the emergency exit area for safekeeping. The staff was okay, but there's room for improvement.
