Hôtels 3 étoiles à Édimbourg

J'ai pris mes bagages et j'ai quitté l'aéroport après minuit. J'ai tourné à droite et j'ai suivi les panneaux indiquant l'hôtel pendant environ 10 minutes. C'était un peu difficile de traîner la valise de 28 pouces sur la route de gravier. bien éclairé et il y avait plusieurs gros lapins sur l'herbe la nuit. Mangez de l'herbe, la dame de la réception s'est enregistrée en 5 minutes. La chambre est assez grande avec 2 grandes boîtes étalées et vous pouvez vous promener. bon et bon rapport qualité prix.

We had a lovely stay at the Ibis on the Royal mile. Our room was modern, adequate in size. The temperature was just right and the bed comfortable. The location was excellent. We stayed at the back of the hotel and wasn’t bothered by a lot of noise. I would definitely recommend and will go back one day. An excellent choice and great value.

We stayed at Mount Royal Hotel in Edinburgh for 4 nights. The rooms are small but clean, and our room had a stunning view of the Scott Monument—definitely a highlight! The bathroom was quite compact as well, and the beds weren’t very soft, but for the price, the location is unbeatable. Just a 5-minute walk to charming bakeries like The Milkman, and so convenient for exploring the city. The staff were incredibly sweet and polite, making our stay even more enjoyable. Don’t miss the view from the bar near the reception—it’s gorgeous!

Cet hôtel n'est pas seulement près de Calton Hill et du château d'Édimbourg, mais également à l'arrière de la rue Princess, très calme. J'ai accidentellement laissé tomber mon passeport là-bas, ils l'ont trouvé et l'ont gardé pour moi jusqu'à mon retour, très attentionnés de leur part.

L'hôtel est très confortable et calme à proximité du château d'Edimbourg. Le check-in était propre, le personnel est ami, la chambre était spacieuse. Il est aussi facile d'atteindre l'aéroport, puisque l'arrêt du tram est à environ 5 minutes à pied de l'hôtel. L'hôtel propose également un stockage de bagages sécurisé. Les équipements dans la chambre pourraient être améliorés! Je resterai ici pendant ma prochaine visite à Édimbourg.

La chambre était propre, la partie inférieure est que la chambre était froide et le climatisateur de chauffage n'était pas fonctionnant correctement il aurait un air chaud puis va froid. Quand je leur ai dit à l'inspection, ils m'ont dit que j'aurais dû demander un chauffeur lors de mon entrée, car l'unité n'est qu'un climatiseur, pas ce qu'il dit sur les instructions et qu'il aurait dû être dit lors de mon entrée. Le petit déjeuner n'était pas grand le bacon a été cuit enveloppé, c'était dur et les marrons de hash étaient secs pour vous dire qu'ils étaient cuits dans le four Les tomates étaient juste chauds, une bonne variété, bien que avec cuit, céréales, yogurt, fruits et pâtes.

Stayed for 2 nights. Very quiet hotel in a great location right outside tramstop from airport. Didnt eat in restaurant or have breakfast there, staff were lovely, bed very comfortable, Only issue i had was that i would like to have been able to open a window for fresh air. Would definately stay here again, cant wait.

C'est probablement notre hôtel ibis préféré parmi tous ceux où nous avons séjourné. Mis à part son emplacement un peu éloigné de la gare, ce qui implique un long détour et une montée de plus de 10 minutes pour ceux qui ont de grosses valises (il existe un raccourci, mais il s'agit d'un escalier très raide et haut, peu pratique avec des bagages volumineux), tout le reste était parfait. Le personnel de la réception était très aimable lors de l'arrivée et du départ. Le petit-déjeuner était copieux et parmi les meilleurs que j'aie pu prendre. L'hôtel est proche des attractions touristiques, accessibles à pied, et de nombreux restaurants se trouvent à proximité. Peut-être à cause des nombreux escaliers d'Édimbourg, Google Maps n'est pas toujours fiable. Il y a un autre hôtel ibis à proximité, qui est peut-être mieux situé. La douche était correcte, mais la pression de l'eau était un peu faible. Sinon, c'était impeccable.

Excellent Location, but Serious Security Lapses I recently stayed at this hotel and found it to be a bit of a mixed bag. While there are some undeniable perks to the property, a few significant service and security issues made for a rather unsettling experience. The Highlights Prime Location: This is easily the hotel's strongest suit. It’s situated right next to Haymarket station, and there is a bus stop literally just outside the front door. Getting into the city centre takes no more than 10 minutes, making it a perfect base for exploring. Commendable Service: The reception team provided a decent welcome. I’d like to give a special mention to Shreyas, who was incredibly helpful and professional throughout our interactions. Quality Dining: We ate at the on-site restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. The food was of a high standard, and the waitstaff were attentive and friendly. Room Maintenance & Tech Issues Unfortunately, the shine started to wear off once we settled into the room: Housekeeping Oversights: Despite this being a multi-day stay, the complimentary water bottles were never replaced after the first day. Faulty Tech: The in-room tablet was practically useless. It kept restarting due to a battery fault; ironically, it even cut out while I was trying to use it to contact reception. Privacy Concerns: When we requested extra toilet roll, the staff member who delivered it attempted to walk straight into the room using their key, rather than knocking and waiting for us to answer. It was a complete breach of basic hospitality etiquette. A Major Security Concern The most distressing part of the trip occurred on our second day. Upon returning to our room in the evening, we were shocked to find the main door open. It appears the cleaning staff had failed to secure the door after finishing their rounds. Finding your hotel room left open to the public is, quite frankly, scary. It’s a massive security fail that overshadowed the rest of the stay. While the location is brilliant, the hotel desperately needs to tighten up its staff training and safety protocols. Would I stay again? Only if I were certain that the security and maintenance issues had been addressed.
