Hôtels 4 étoiles à Sendai

The first thing I'll write about Richmond Hotel Premier Sendai Ekimae is the good location. It's right next to Aobadori Station, but there is only a stairway down. An elevator is located not too far away, and I'll get to that in the last part of this review. The lobby of the hotel has a nice ambience, and the hotel offers one complimentary drink and a complimentary bowl of soba noodles. Since the majority of hotel guests take advantage of these offers, the lobby and bar can be crowded during both day and night (until 22:00). The staff whom I interacted with, especially the young lady upon check-in, were all very friendly and helpful. Water coolers are available on each floor next to the elevators, so if it's late at night and you're out of water, you don't have to go far. This is a good service by the hotel. I really like the fact that from the ground level, you can take the elevator directly up to your room floor, bypassing the usually busy and crowded lobby. When it comes to sound insulation between rooms, unfortunately this was not too good. I was able to hear my neighbours banging their limbs, suitcases, clothes hangers etc. against the walls. I didn't really hear talking, but that's probably because my neighbours were Japanese and talked to each other in low tones (non-Japanese people should emulate this). As for noise from the streets, my room faced another building (which was what I requested), so I didn't hear much traffic noise. The shower temperature in my first room fluctuated badly. It would be hot for about 30 seconds, then it turned cold for a minute, then hot again for 15 seconds, then cold again for a long time. The hotel staff helped me switch to a different room, and the shower temperature in the second room was fine. The furniture in the rooms are a bit old, but that's not a big issue. The fridges on the other hand are too small and not cold, the hotel should purchase larger and better units. A nitpick of mine is having to use the television to choose the 'Do Not Disturb' sign for the cleaners. I'd much rather a switch next to the door, or the traditional sign to hang on the doorknob. I did not have breakfast at the hotel nor did I use any of the facilities, so I have no comment on those services. Overall, I had a good stay at this hotel and would recommend it to others. I hope that in the future the sound insulation between rooms can be vastly improved, and that the hotel can provide physical 'Do Not Disturb' signs or switches. Side note: If you have large luggage and need an elevator, you have to walk south just a little along Atagokamisugi-dori, and soon you'll see an elevator to the underground station. When you get into this elevator, get to the lowest level, and when walking to Sendai station via the underground passage, there is another elevator in an oddly-angled corner. L'hôtel est situé tout près de la gare de Sendai ; on y accède directement par une passerelle piétonne depuis la sortie ouest. Chaque étage est équipé d'un contrôle d'accès, garantissant ainsi la sécurité. Le dernier étage abrite un onsen (source thermale) et un espace détente. Des boissons, des glaces au chocolat et des crèmes glacées sont proposées. Le copieux buffet du petit-déjeuner offre un large choix de plats, notamment des omelettes fraîchement préparées, du sashimi et de la langue de bœuf. C'est un hôtel idéal pour faire du shopping et pour les voyageurs.

C'est un peu loin de la gare de Sendai, mais facile à trouver et bien situé. C'était une chambre fumeur, donc il y avait une odeur, et même si j'ai demandé une machine pour la désodoriser en sortant, cela n'a pas vraiment amélioré les choses. Cependant, la chambre était propre et la salle de bain spacieuse et facile à utiliser. Le personnel de la réception était également très agréable et poli. Il proposait un service de boissons, ce qui était très pratique. De nombreux équipements étaient également disponibles, que j'ai appréciés. Le personnel de la réception était aimable et poli, ce qui m'a permis de passer un séjour agréable. Je souhaiterais faire appel à eux à nouveau.

The hotel has an excellent location, very close to the train station and very convenient for getting around. Overall, everything was good during my stay. The only downside is that the room looks a bit old and the bed is quite firm. If I have a chance to visit Sendai again, I would definitely stay here again.

I really enjoyed my stay here.It is conveniently located nearl Sendai Station.The public bath was perfect for relaxation and the breakfast was tasty and the staff were very friendly and helpful. As a solo traveler, I felt safe, comfortable and had a wonderful stayed. I would definitely recommend this hotel to solo travelers.

La réception à 17 h était efficace et je n'ai pas dû attendre. Le Wifi a bien fonctionné et la climatisation était bonne, surtout dans le temps froid. Les chambres ne sont pas grandes mais suffisantes. J'ai réservé une chambre plus grande dont quelques-uns. La chambre est très bien gardée, mais les clients doivent demander des services quotidiens en plaçant une carte sur la porte de la chambre, sinon le service quotidien n'est pas fourni. L'hôtel est situé à environ 15 minutes à pied de la gare principale Shinkansen. Il y a de grandes boutiques dans la zone centrale de la gare. Il y a aussi de nombreux restaurants à proximité qui devraient correspondre au budget et au type de nourriture de la plupart des gens. Les bus et les stations de métro sont à proximité et offrent accès à différentes parties de la ville. En général, un séjour agréable et heureux de revoir.

Very near to Sendai station just walk on upper walkway to AER building cross the road that you don't have any problem with luggage. Bed is comfy and breakfast had more variety which filled your day with good food. Staff are very welcome they will recognize you immediately when you walk in to check in after you left your luggages with them in the morning. Definitely will come back again.

Hotel front desk staffs were all super friendly, able to communicate well in English, helpful and professional. We came to the front desk at 1pm (outside check in time) but the staff kindly let us check in early without even being asked. Our room was clean, has good layout, even though it feels a bit tight if you have multiple big luggages but that's typical for all business hotels in Japan. The hotel is close to Sendai station (5 mins walk) where you have endless food choices. There is a 7-11 right at the ground floor of hotel. Yodobashi shopping centre is just across the hotel where you can find large supermarket Lopia, Daiso, Uniqlo, GU, Matsukiyoshi, sport stores and everything else you need. I would happily stay in this hotel again if I got a chance to visit Sendai again.

Le restaurant est très confortable. L'hôtel est proche de la gare Sendai et il y a plusieurs parkings à proximité. Il était également très pratique d'avoir une FamilyMart près du lobby sur le sol. La zone de lave-linge est très petite et aurait été plus agréable si il y avait plus de machines disponibles. La sèche-linge n'était malheureusement pas très efficace. Le service était grand et l'hôtel était très propre. Les chambres étaient de bonne taille. Retourneraient.

Everyone especially cleaning workers polite & helpful. Room small but locution great & toilet well equipped & clean. Lots of restaurants around. The local market nearby is a must-go. One minus though, counter staff can't easily understand our requests. Sendai is a great place but English is not a common tool for communication.
