stayed at Discovery SCBD Jakarta for 3 nights from Sunday to Wednesday during a business trip and had a very pleasant experience throughout my stay. The hotel's location is one of its biggest advantages. Situated directly opposite Pacific Place Mall in the heart of the SCBD area, it offers easy access to restaurants, cafés, shopping and office buildings, making it an excellent choice for both business and leisure travellers. The room was modern, spacious and exceptionally clean. My favourite feature was definitely the in-room coffee machine. As someone who starts the day with coffee and often works late during business trips, being able to enjoy a freshly brewed cup in the comfort of my room was a thoughtful touch that I truly appreciated. The large work desk by the window was also perfect for catching up on work after office hours, while the comfortable bed and reliable Wi-Fi made the stay even more enjoyable. I also enjoyed the breakfast concept. Instead of a traditional buffet, guests order their preferred dishes from a menu. I appreciated this approach as it helps reduce unnecessary food waste while ensuring that the meals are freshly prepared. What impressed me most was the speed of service — despite being individually prepared, the food was served promptly without a long wait, making breakfast both convenient and enjoyable before heading out for the day. The lobby and common areas are stylish, modern and well maintained, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment of arrival. The staff were friendly, professional and efficient throughout my stay, and both check-in and check-out processes were smooth and hassle-free. Overall, Discovery SCBD Jakarta exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort, convenience and thoughtful amenities. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Jakarta and highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality accommodation in the SCBD area.

Situé à Pan Pacific Jakarta, cet hôtel magnifique avec un service magnifique tout autour. Le salon du Club du Pacifique, qui a fait notre séjour très bienvenu et confortable pour notre occasion spéciale, a été excité par Eldria et le reste de l'équipe de salon du Club du Pacifique. La suite est spacieuse, magnifiquement meublée, tranquille et simplement impressionnante, à partir du 88ème étage. La piscine du 71e étage est un repos de bienvenue pour le refroidissement avec des salons confortables. Le salon du Pacific Club est super spacieux, fantastique vues de Jakarta, délicieuses offres de nourriture et de boissons, un siège confortable complété par une partie des meilleurs hôpitaux réels et chauds que j'ai connus dans des milliers de séjours d'hôtel. Maintenez le grand travail Pan Pacific !

New try in Jakarta and another apartment type room. Plenty of space but a bit dated and rough on the edges. Location is quite allright and plenty f&b options around or within a short ride. Good cleaning and no street noise, but a bit thin walls to screaming tantrum kid next door. Breakfast spread was good and nice and helpful staff. This was a step up from Manhattan down the street but still not the greatest value for money. Will keep it on the list for next time but might also try another option.

J'ai passé 4 jours et 3 nuits à l'hôtel Ascott, recommandé par des amis. Son emplacement est idéal et les prestations sont de bonne qualité. Le petit-déjeuner pourrait être amélioré. Dans l'ensemble, c'est un bon endroit où séjourner si vous souhaitez faire du shopping, car de grands centres commerciaux se trouvent à proximité immédiate de l'hôtel et sont accessibles à pied.

Le bâtiment et le hall de l'hôtel avaient l'air assez bien. L'enregistrement s'est fait en un clin d'œil. Le couloir de la chambre a l'air vieux et sombre, cela m'a rappelé mes jours de dortoir mais avec de meilleures couleurs. La chambre n'avait pas beaucoup d'espace, mais était quand même tolérable. Les papiers peints avaient des traces de fuite jaunies/séchées. La salle de bain était minuscule et tous les drains (lavabo et douche) sont très lents à s'écouler. Et pas de serrure pour la salle de bain. Le pire était l'éclairage, j'ai éteint les lumières pendant que je dormais, je me suis réveillé dans une pièce entièrement éclairée avec la télévision allumée peut-être quelques heures plus tard. J'ai pensé que j'avais peut-être appuyé accidentellement sur un bouton pendant que je dormais. J'ai tout éteint et je me suis rendormi, puis la même chose s'est reproduite. Au total, cela s'est produit 3 ou 4 fois, trop fatigué et somnolent pour m'en soucier. Je n'ai pas pris la peine de me plaindre car cela s'est produit entre le milieu de la nuit et l'aube. Même si je me plaignais, les solutions possibles seraient d'envoyer un technicien ou de me transférer dans une meilleure chambre, et aucune des deux n'est souhaitable. J'étais en voyage d'affaires d'une nuit avec un emploi du temps chargé les deux jours. Le petit déjeuner était bon, beaucoup de choix, mais le service n'était pas très bon. Quand on m'a montré ma table, l'hôte m'a demandé si je voulais du café ou du thé, j'ai choisi du café. J'ai fait le tour pour prendre mon petit déjeuner, je suis revenu à table et il n'y avait pas de café. Puis, peu de temps après avoir commencé à manger, un serveur est venu et m'a demandé si je voulais du café ou du thé, il a dit du café. 5 minutes plus tard, un autre serveur est venu si je voulais du café ou du thé... encore une fois. J'ai finalement eu mon café 15 bonnes minutes plus tard, j'aurais dû simplement prendre une tasse moi-même. J'ai demandé des aubergines, les œufs sont arrivés après avoir fini mon assiette, à peu près le même temps d'attente avec le café et la station d'œufs était vide lorsque j'ai commandé. Je suis désolé mais je ne pense pas que ce soit un hôtel 5 étoiles, et le prix n'en valait pas la peine. Je pense que le problème de lumière était dû à la fente pour carte de chambre juste pour allumer l'alimentation. Il a dû y avoir une erreur et n'a pas réussi à détecter une carte dans la fente et à tout éteindre, puis a soudainement détecté à nouveau la carte, d'où le fait que toute l'alimentation et la lumière se rallument sans cesse. Je ne resterai plus là-bas La photo du couloir n'est pas si mauvaise sur la photo, car mon téléphone a décidé de la rendre plus belle en ajustant automatiquement le niveau de lumière, beaucoup plus sombre en réalité

I’ve stayed at Pullman on several occasions, and the staff have always been friendly, professional, and helpful. However, this particular stay was more challenging than my previous experiences. Upon checking in, I encountered several issues with the room. The shower head was dripping, the sliding door to the bathroom was faulty, and the air conditioning was not cooling sufficiently. To the hotel's credit, these issues were attended to promptly. Unfortunately, the sliding door malfunctioned again later during my stay, although it was repaired quickly once more. As I was staying for 12 days, I was disappointed to learn that the complimentary laundry service is only available for bookings made directly through the hotel. I had initially tried to book directly through the hotel via the Citibank Concierge service, but unfortunately, no rooms were available through that channel, so I had to make my reservation through an alternative booking platform. Given the circumstances and the length of my stay, I had hoped the hotel could have extended the complimentary laundry service as a goodwill gesture. I would also like to thank the hotel for the complimentary beer and food platter provided over the weekend. It was a thoughtful gesture and was very much appreciated. Lastly, there was a fire incident on the final day of my stay, which was understandably quite alarming and left a lasting impression. Despite these setbacks, Pullman remains one of my favourite hotels because of its excellent service and welcoming staff. I sincerely hope the hotel continues to invest in upgrading its facilities and strengthening its safety and security standards so that guests can continue to enjoy a comfortable and worry-free stay. I look forward to returning in the future and having an even better experience.

On the first day that we checked in at the hotel, I made a deposit payment to the hotel under my room. However on that evening itself, I was not allowed to sign for payment for the dinner that we had at Sailendra Restaurant. The reason given by the employee at the Restaurant was that no deposit was made by me to the hotel, therefore I was not allowed to sign for payment and charge to the room. I have to approach the hotel reception to get the clarification and that was very annoying. I know there must be an oversight by staff at the hotel reception for not updating my payment in the system and I think this should not happen at an international 5 stars hotel. The following morning, we had breakfast at Sailendra Restaurant and all the staff for the morning breakfast team were wonderful. We were served by Pak Bambang who had done a great job. He even recommended us to try their Soto Ayam the next morning of which we did. The Soto Ayam was specially prepared by Chef Cipta for us and that was so tasty and delicious. We also have the opportunity of meeting Chef Cipta. We had breakfast at this Restaurant for all the subsequent days during our stay until we checked out. The service by the whole team during breakfast hour was excellent and on the day that we were leaving, Ibu Katherina prepared a box of fried emping for us to take away as I always requested for fried emping from Chef Cipta. Thank you to all the staff for the morning breakfast team! The Housekeeping staff servicing our room were not detailed. A lot of items were missed out during our stay and we need to contact the service department each night to request for the items. The only consolation is the staff will deliver the items that they missed out without any delay each time we called. We also noticed the hair captured at the shower drain was not cleaned up for the whole duration of our stay. In conclusion, the Housekeeping Department needs to look into that and improve on it. The hotel room also needs to be renovated as it is dated. Overall, we had a good holiday in Jakarta!

La cuisine était entièrement équipée d'appareils modernes, ce qui a rendu la préparation des repas très facile. J'ai également apprécié le café et le thé offerts, une délicate attention. Les salles de bain étaient impeccables et pourvues de produits de toilette de grande qualité. Le point fort de cet appartement a été l'excellent service du personnel. Accueillant et attentionné, il a tout fait pour que notre séjour soit parfait. Je recommande vivement cet appartement aux familles, aux couples et à toute personne recherchant un séjour confortable et pratique. J'y retournerai sans hésiter lors de mon prochain voyage !

1. Le climatiseur mural est insupportable ! On dirait qu'il est fixé aux quatre murs. 2. La machine à laver n'a pas de fonction sèche-linge et fait des bruits étranges (surtout en fonctionnement), voir la vidéo. 3. Je n'ai pas trouvé l'interrupteur de la lampe de chevet (bandeau lumineux) de toute la nuit ; il n'y a aucune indication.
