Situated on Little Collins Street, this historic hotel offers unbeatable convenience for both leisure and business travelers. The moment you step outside the lobby, you are instantly surrounded by Melbourne's vibrant laneway culture, iconic cafes, bustling boutique shops, and major public transport links, including the famous Flinders Street Station. The hotel itself perfectly blends heritage charm with modern practicality. While the building is historic, the interior is well-maintained, cozy, and comfortable. My room was compact but spotlessly clean, featuring all the essential amenities needed for a relaxing stay. It included a very comfortable bed, a tidy en-suite bathroom, and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi that worked flawlessly throughout my visit. Though some of the hallway decor feels slightly dated, it genuinely adds to the classic, old-world character of the property rather than detracting from the overall guest experience. One of the standout features of The Victoria Hotel is its excellent guest facilities. After a long day of exploring the city's sights, having access to an indoor heated rooftop pool, a spa, and a fitness center was an unexpected and delightful bonus for a budget-friendly hotel. Furthermore, the on-site restaurant and bar, Mister Munro, provides a lovely, relaxed atmosphere with a great selection of delicious food and beverages. The hotel staff also deserve a very special mention. From a smooth, welcoming check-in process to providing helpful local sightseeing tips, the customer service was consistently polite, efficient, and highly professional. Overall, The Victoria Hotel offers outstanding value for money. It provides a comfortable, safe, and incredibly convenient base for anyone wanting to experience the best of Melbourne without breaking the bank. I highly recommend this wonderful accommodation and would gladly stay here again

The hotel's location is really good. It's super convenient to get to the hotel from the terminal. The room size is good for unpack & repack your stuff for the trip. Since we didn't have breakfast included in the booking. There are 2 choices for the breakfast: 1. Hotel's breakfast for 35AUD/person 2. Deli cafe. We had a sandwich & muffin there. It's quick and easy to get ready in the morning.

Sur 24/6 J'ai commandé des œufs frits pendant le petit déjeuner, mais la qualité des œufs n'était pas standard, le yoghour n'était pas normal et sans goût, mais j'ai commandé le lendemain avec un autre chef, qui était de retour à un œuf normal, Je me demandais si Sheraton pouvait utiliser une telle qualité d'œufs ! Une autre opinion est que les installations de salles de sport ne suffisent pas, merci!

Ma famille et moi avons apprécié notre récent séjour au Citadines on Burke Melbourne. Les points positifs les plus marquants sont les suivants : 1. Service du personnel : L'enregistrement a été excellent. Le personnel était chaleureux, professionnel et très serviable, et nous a immédiatement accueillis chaleureusement. 2. Taille de la chambre : Beaucoup d'espace pour les bagages et pour que chacun puisse se déplacer sans se sentir à l'étroit. 3. Produits de toilette : Les produits de toilette fournis étaient de bonne qualité et appréciés. Points à améliorer : L'espace de cet hôtel est idéal pour les familles. Cependant, pour que cet hôtel soit vraiment parfait pour des familles comme la nôtre, je suggère à la direction d'envisager de proposer des chambres avec deux lits queen-size afin d'améliorer le confort et la qualité du sommeil des parents et des enfants partageant la chambre. Malgré cette suggestion, nous avons passé un séjour très confortable et agréable grâce à l'excellent service, à l'espace généreux et aux bonnes installations. Nous envisagerons sans hésiter d'y retourner.

The Highlights 1. The location of this hotel is second to none. Right outside the door, you’ll find endless food options from quick bites to diverse international cuisines, plus plenty of cafés, bars, and public transport. Having the SkyBus stop to the airport just around the corner was convenient. 2. Every team member I met was friendly, approachable, and genuinely eager to help. They are well-trained and motivated to provide excellent service. 3. The room itself was spacious and modern. Both the daytime city views and night lights from the window were wonderful, and the furnishings felt new and well-maintained. 4. Guests have access to some excellent facilities, including a gym, a library, and a full wellness area. The indoor pool is comfortably heated even on a chilly Melbourne evening, and it comes with a sauna and bubble spa, which makes the stay feel more like a resort. What Could Be Improved 1. The room setup felt unusual. I booked a one-bedroom suite, but was placed in a two-bedroom apartment with the master bedroom locked off. I completely understand that I only paid for one room, but it felt a little strange knowing there was a part of “my” room I couldn’t access. Personally, I would have preferred a proper one-bedroom layout with full access. 2. The bedroom I was 'allowed' to stay in also didn’t have its own air conditioning. It relied on the living room’s unit to keep cool, while the locked-off master had its system. This design made things a bit uncomfortable at times, especially overnight. 3. The sofa had an unpleasant, urine-like odour, which made us reluctant to rest in the lounge. 4. The main door lock was rusty and stiff, making it frustrating to open and close. 5. There was no landline phone in the room to contact reception, so the only option was to head downstairs. A couple of times, even during office hours, the reception was unattended (likely because one staff member was juggling multiple tasks). It could be so inconvenient to have a more extended stay. 6. While the pool facilities were lovely, they were often crowded. The common facilities are shared with residents of the building as well as hotel guests, but this detracted from the relaxing vibe. Would I stay here again? Yes, probably. Mainly because of the unbeatable location, the great facilities, and the friendly staff. But I do think the hotel needs to address the details so that it can align with what they claimed as 'luxury'.

It would have been good except for the large western facing windows left without blinds down and an electrical setup that turns the air conditioning off when no one is in the room. So we arrived to stifling heat, and an air conditioner that doesn't really cool the bedrooms, and no fans or windows in the main bedroom. Most other things were good, but having a comfortable room is fundamental and the apartment just isn't set up for that. We enjoyed the location and the pool. We can't really speak to service levels cos we didn't ask for, expect or get any. It was a bit frustrating that the hotel only had a booking for 4 adults when we made a booking for 2A+3C on trip.com but who knows who was responsible for that.

We booked a King Standard hotel for this trip as we have the special rate from Trip.com. Before we arrived we received an email from Trip urging us to write an email to ask for early check in as we also booked an airline ticket thru Trip. When arrived in hotel ard 9.45 am we were offered a room ( with immediate availability ) but with a payment of AUD 50. When I asked for a twin bed room as usually King and Twin Bed will have same rate, but not this hotel. If we were to change the bed style we have to pay AUD 30/night for 5 nights 😅😅another AUD 150. Enough for all the morning communications so we just ignore the bed details and went straight to our room after the payment. On the day we checked out we came to know that the front officer recharged our hotel fee even when Trip.com confirmed that everything was fully paid. What a money maker hotel!! Front officer told us they will refund us the amount though. However the room is small and nice and everything was up to international 4 standard but Crown Casino Tower has a much more beautiful and bigger room. Though both have stunning nice view of the Yarra River as in attached.

Very convenient location as it just 10mins walk to Melbourne central. The rmit university and swanston tram station right in front of the hotel building. Don’t have enough time to enjoy pool and sauna as it opens from 7am-9pm only. The only dissatisfied is I don’t know that the room service is provided. On the 4th night of our stay while we entered the room after one day trip, we realized that the cleaner has actually entered and cleaned our room without asking our permission. Imagine what if our goods have went missing, can the hotel management beared the cost of our loss? Please do not enter the room without inform customer, customer will ask for room cleaning if they really want the service.
