Il s'agit d'un très bon hôtel. L'intérieur est très propre et grand. Le lit est confortable et le toilette est bon avec le jacuzzi. Vous verrez des cangurous et des cocktails en dehors du cottage du matin et du soir. Mes enfants profitent très du séjour. Mais vous devez soit cuisiner vos propres repas, soit conduire à manger.

The hotel's location is really good. It's super convenient to get to the hotel from the terminal. The room size is good for unpack & repack your stuff for the trip. Since we didn't have breakfast included in the booking. There are 2 choices for the breakfast: 1. Hotel's breakfast for 35AUD/person 2. Deli cafe. We had a sandwich & muffin there. It's quick and easy to get ready in the morning.

The Highlights 1. The location of this hotel is second to none. Right outside the door, you’ll find endless food options from quick bites to diverse international cuisines, plus plenty of cafés, bars, and public transport. Having the SkyBus stop to the airport just around the corner was convenient. 2. Every team member I met was friendly, approachable, and genuinely eager to help. They are well-trained and motivated to provide excellent service. 3. The room itself was spacious and modern. Both the daytime city views and night lights from the window were wonderful, and the furnishings felt new and well-maintained. 4. Guests have access to some excellent facilities, including a gym, a library, and a full wellness area. The indoor pool is comfortably heated even on a chilly Melbourne evening, and it comes with a sauna and bubble spa, which makes the stay feel more like a resort. What Could Be Improved 1. The room setup felt unusual. I booked a one-bedroom suite, but was placed in a two-bedroom apartment with the master bedroom locked off. I completely understand that I only paid for one room, but it felt a little strange knowing there was a part of “my” room I couldn’t access. Personally, I would have preferred a proper one-bedroom layout with full access. 2. The bedroom I was 'allowed' to stay in also didn’t have its own air conditioning. It relied on the living room’s unit to keep cool, while the locked-off master had its system. This design made things a bit uncomfortable at times, especially overnight. 3. The sofa had an unpleasant, urine-like odour, which made us reluctant to rest in the lounge. 4. The main door lock was rusty and stiff, making it frustrating to open and close. 5. There was no landline phone in the room to contact reception, so the only option was to head downstairs. A couple of times, even during office hours, the reception was unattended (likely because one staff member was juggling multiple tasks). It could be so inconvenient to have a more extended stay. 6. While the pool facilities were lovely, they were often crowded. The common facilities are shared with residents of the building as well as hotel guests, but this detracted from the relaxing vibe. Would I stay here again? Yes, probably. Mainly because of the unbeatable location, the great facilities, and the friendly staff. But I do think the hotel needs to address the details so that it can align with what they claimed as 'luxury'.

Unfortunately, my experience at Novotel Melbourne Central was quite disappointing, especially considering that I had a very positive experience at Novotel Sydney, where my daughter and I were treated with great kindness and hospitality. I had an issue with the breakfast arrangement that was handled in a very uncomfortable and embarrassing way. At check-in, I specifically asked to add breakfast for the three days of our stay. I explained that I am an ALL – Accor Live Limitless member and that I had received an email stating that ALL members would receive a discount on breakfast. The receptionist confirmed the benefit and also told me that my 11-year-old daughter would not be charged. I was informed that the total cost for breakfast for the three days would be AUD 56. I paid the amount at check-in and, naturally, assumed everything had been correctly arranged. However, the following morning, when we went to breakfast, the staff member told me that breakfast was not included in my reservation. I explained that I had specifically added it during check-in and showed him the payment receipt from my card. Instead of simply checking the situation and resolving what was clearly a possible system or communication error, I was repeatedly questioned: who had checked me in, when I had become an ALL member, and whether I had any proof that breakfast had been added. The whole situation was extremely uncomfortable and embarrassing. I had done exactly what was required at check-in, had paid for the breakfast, and had proof of the payment. Nevertheless, I felt as though my word was being questioned. I explained that I would make a complaint. The staff member then reluctantly took down my room number and directed us to a table next to the service area, despite there being several vacant tables in the main dining area. This made the situation even more unpleasant. I understand that mistakes can happen, particularly if there is an issue with the hotel system or communication between staff members. What I found unacceptable was the way the situation was handled. It gave me the impression that the staff may not have received adequate training on how to deal with guests when an operational error occurs. The appropriate approach would have been to acknowledge the possibility of a mistake, verify the payment and resolve the issue discreetly and courteously, rather than making the guest feel embarrassed or disbelieved. Unfortunately, I also experienced problems with the cleanliness of the room. The bed was poorly made, the toilet and sink were clearly not properly cleaned, and a cup had been placed wet on the tray. These details contributed significantly to my overall negative impression of the hotel. This was particularly disappointing because our experience at Novotel Sydney was excellent. We were welcomed warmly, treated very well and felt genuinely looked after throughout our stay. Unfortunately, our experience in Melbourne was very different. I hope the hotel management will take this feedback seriously, particularly regarding staff training, guest communication and housekeeping standards. The issue could have been handled very differently and would have avoided turning a simple operational mistake into an unpleasant and embarrassing experience.

Nous avons réservé un hôtel King Standard pour ce voyage, car nous avons le tarif spécial de Trip.com. Avant notre arrivée, nous avons reçu un courriel de Trip nous demandant de nous écrire un courriel pour demander un check-in précoce, puisqu'on a également réservé un billet d'avion par Trip. L'hôtel est situé à proximité de la ville de l'hôtel. Si nous voulions changer le style de l'enfant, nous devrions payer AUD 30/night pour 5 nuits 😅😅autre AUD 150. Le jour où nous avons vérifié, nous avons appris que le chef de file avait récupéré notre frais d'hôtel même lorsque Trip.com a confirmé que tout était entièrement payé. Le chef de file nous a dit qu'ils nous rembourseraient le montant. La chambre est petite et belle et tout était jusqu'à 4 standards internationaux mais la Crown Casino Tower dispose d'une chambre beaucoup plus belle et plus grande.

It would have been good except for the large western facing windows left without blinds down and an electrical setup that turns the air conditioning off when no one is in the room. So we arrived to stifling heat, and an air conditioner that doesn't really cool the bedrooms, and no fans or windows in the main bedroom. Most other things were good, but having a comfortable room is fundamental and the apartment just isn't set up for that. We enjoyed the location and the pool. We can't really speak to service levels cos we didn't ask for, expect or get any. It was a bit frustrating that the hotel only had a booking for 4 adults when we made a booking for 2A+3C on trip.com but who knows who was responsible for that.

Ma famille et moi avons apprécié notre récent séjour au Citadines on Burke Melbourne. Les points positifs les plus marquants sont les suivants : 1. Service du personnel : L'enregistrement a été excellent. Le personnel était chaleureux, professionnel et très serviable, et nous a immédiatement accueillis chaleureusement. 2. Taille de la chambre : Beaucoup d'espace pour les bagages et pour que chacun puisse se déplacer sans se sentir à l'étroit. 3. Produits de toilette : Les produits de toilette fournis étaient de bonne qualité et appréciés. Points à améliorer : L'espace de cet hôtel est idéal pour les familles. Cependant, pour que cet hôtel soit vraiment parfait pour des familles comme la nôtre, je suggère à la direction d'envisager de proposer des chambres avec deux lits queen-size afin d'améliorer le confort et la qualité du sommeil des parents et des enfants partageant la chambre. Malgré cette suggestion, nous avons passé un séjour très confortable et agréable grâce à l'excellent service, à l'espace généreux et aux bonnes installations. Nous envisagerons sans hésiter d'y retourner.

The hotel is geared towards sustainability, which I love. There is a shared fridge, and pantry where you can store and reheat the food you buy outside. One downside though is that the water is only available at the pantry which means, you always need to go down to Level 2 to grab some water. The room was small but clean. Location-wise, it’s very ideal - there are many restaurants, cafes and convenience store nearby! It is near Victoria Market too!

The hotel carpet smells, the building is old and needs a total replacement of carpet. When we entered our room. It smells like bleach everywhere. We have to open the window to make it go away. The room is decent size and the toilet and bath are separated where there are no hand basin to use after using the toilet if someone is using the shower or bath tub. The view from our balcony is magnificent, the Melbourne tall buildings skyline. I also love the location because it is near public transport, free tram and shops, even universities. The kitchen are complete with cooking utensils and pans. They got free coffee, tea and milk. The toiletries were given 1 set of tiny bottles but we are 4 people booked in.

J'ai séjourné dans de nombreux appartements de Punt Hill au cours des dix dernières années, même si cela faisait longtemps que je n'y étais pas retourné. Notre appartement d'une chambre était spacieux, mais l'hôtel est maintenant assez vétuste. Les murs de la salle de bain n'étaient pas très propres, ni les tasses et les couverts (j'ai toujours l'habitude de nettoyer les choses avant de les utiliser !). J'ai finalement passé la plupart de mon temps à l'hôtel car j'étais grippé. J'ai remarqué que le Wi-Fi était très instable et intermittent, ce qui rendait le visionnage de séries en streaming assez difficile ; j'ai donc fini par utiliser mon téléphone. Les lits étaient confortables, en revanche ! L'emplacement est vraiment fantastique, en plein cœur de Chinatown, et on peut facilement se déplacer à pied.
