Le rapport qualité/prix est très mauvais, on nous vend un hotel 3 étoiles, alors que la qualité tout comme le service ne mérite même pas une étoile. Après la grosse déception en découvrant notre chambre (pas de frigo dans un endroit si chaud, douche bouchée, salle de bain trop étroite, on entend les voisins, pas de rideaux occultants, etc...), et un problème de réservation, on essaie d'avoir le manager. 2 heures d'attente pour arriver à lui parler, et quand il arrive à se rendre disponible, reçoit avec mépris. On décide de quitter l'hôtel car ne correspond pas du tout à ce pour quoi nous avions payé et surtout problèmes au moment de la réservation (dû au site de réservation), on s'accorde avec l'hôtel pour être remboursées d'une partie de la somme dépensée, 7 mois après, nous attendons toujours nos sous. Réception qui ne répond au début à aucun de mes mails, ensuite quand le service client de l'hôtel est contacté, la réception comme par magie redécouvre son service de mail, nous promet un remboursement et finalement rien. Très déçues par cet hôtel qui en plus de ne pas être honnête, propose des prix beaucoup trop élevés par rapport à la qualité et au service proposé.

I don't know where to begin, this place was amazing to me. I have travelled a lot, but never solo in a place where I'm not a fluent speaker and don't know a soul - I stayed here solo for 10 days in the Playa Negra room, and from the moment I checked in I felt so safe, secure, and well cared for. The room was spacious and incredibly clean, the halls and common spaces also so secure and maintained. The staff were so gentle and accommodating, helping me with anything that came up, including things like booking tours, where to go to shop or to change money, how to get to the beach quickly, etc! I was so anxious to take on this trip by myself, but the staff and vibe is why I know I'll return to Tamarindo soon. I felt I have made friends due to the real human sincerity that I was shown. I was even given a yoga mat and block for my room when the receptionist learned I was practicing yoga in my room on the floor; By the way, there are free activities every few nights in the hotel and the Mercadito beside it, such as yoga classes, salsa classes, cocktail making classes, so you will always have something to do even if you don't go on tours and are on a budget! The Sol Bakery and Mercadito beside the hotel offer so much variety of food and beverage, and within Zulu there are two lounge areas as well for when the rain hits, so you will have plenty of space and access even if you stay in a smaller room. Everyone is generally very friendly and warm, again, a total dream socially! The location is pretty much unbeatable, within 3 minutes walking distance you can be at some of the best coffee shops, food, supermarkets and bulk stores, the beach, tour operators, many souvenir shops and clothing stores, etc. So staying here can allow you to have either a very touristic experience or a more locally-rhythmed one, it's up to you. It is also very central and so, very safe. The beach is literally across the street. One last thing to mention is the ease of check-in and check-out. Shuttle buses to the airports can be arranged to directly drop you to the hotel, so as long as you plan ahead with the staff you will be taken care of. I can't wait to come back, and when I stay in Tamarindo, this is where I'll stay.

Absolutely loved this place. From the moment we checked in with the very jolly and friendly receptionist to the moment we checked out. A courtyard effect small hotel which is its own little haven. Can get a little noisy and night but I slept fine. Very close to the resort centre for access. Breakfast very good and varied each day. I travel extensively and this is one of my favourite stays.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, personnel au petit soin et le gérant qui était Suisse nous a donné pleins de bon plans… Le petit déjeuner excellent pour un rapport qualité prix vraiment très correct. Tôt le matin il y a une famille de singe qui se balade sur les toits ce qui était très sympa à regarder… Je recommande les yeux fermés 😊
