Title: fantastic staff, comfortable stay Reception: Liz at reception was fantastic and Helen at breakfast was informative made great suggestions on where to visit historical sites. Room / facilities: Room number 19 is on the ground floor and is clean. The room consists of 2 single beds, desk, chair, iron and board, stand shower (no tub) in the bath room, desk and chair. Self control air conditioning with a window that opens about 5 cm. The room does not have a fridge. Although we had to change rooms due to plumbing issues, our second room was very functional and comfortable. Parking: This is available at an additional £3.50 per night cost, car registration must be provided at check in. Whilst there are plenty of parking spaces, a car is required to get to the hotel, resulting in the spaces filling quickly. Wifi: Complementary and good speed. No validation or password required. Breakfast: The buffet breakfast is from 6.30am to 9.30am and consists of cereals, yogurt, breads (to toast) jams and spreads, fresh fruits, pastries, eggs, bacon, baked beans, sausages & harsh browns, juices, tea /coffee. Staff are very attentive to remove plates and refill food items. Nice touch having a staff member come around during breakfast offering sweet pastries. Conclusion: Centrally located “base”hotel for day trips to surrounding towns or Warwick town. Very nice staff, with a Mcdonalds outside your door step. Letdowns: No fridge, inconsistent room features. Location / Nearby: Warwick town is a 5 min drive. Other nearby towns are 10-20 mins drive away.

Yes, it is very worn and dated but it does have a retro 70's charm and provides very good value. Reception was polite and professional but could have been more supportive. We had a issue as our hotel booking site had not paid the hotel. The receptionist ask us to phone them to solve the issue. At better hotels, the reception would have offered to do provide this service. A lack of training? The location is excellent being in the centre of the city, across from the bus station and the transport museum. The views of the ruins of the old in the background and new in the foreground among other ancient and contemporary buildings is wonderful from the rooms at the rear of the hotel are wonderful. The balcony that some of the rooms to the rear have would be a very pleasant place to relax in good weather. The beds are very large and reasonably comfortable with clean beading. The carpet of our room was new, and others were being replaced as we were there. The state of the decor was adequate and past ready for a make-over. However, for the price and location, it was acceptable. The breakfast, which was included, was a pleasant surprise. The buffet breakfast room had a was cosy feel, there was a good selection of cereals, preserved fruits and yogurt. The full English breakfast was very well prepared and of good quality ingredients. The tea and coffee were also of a good standard. Service was professional and efficient, clearly aiming to provide their clients with a very pleasant start to their day.

J'ai réservé cet hôtel pour un week-end pour célébrer le 40e anniversaire de nos amis, et après avoir lu quelques récents commentaires, j'étais un peu inquiet de dire le moins , donc ici mon avis et mon avis y compris d'autres commentaires . Pendant le processus de réservation et la communication ultérieure avec le personnel de réception et de réservation , je ne peux que dire qu' il s' agit d' une situation exceptionnelle et de première classe . À l' arrivée , nous avons été accueillis et check-in dans nos chambres , l' accès à l' hôtel est très agréable , la réception était spacieuse et propre . Nos deux chambres étaient à côté de l' autre et étaient spacieuses et propres ( aucun signe de réseaux cobs ou d' objets sales comme d' autres commentaires ont indiqué ) une des chambres ( nos amis ) avait un problème avec une lumière éclatante et une lumière du côté lit ne fonctionnait pas plus une toile à main. Mon ami a rapporté que cela et une serviette de bain était livrée immédiatement ( pas de serviette à main disponible) et la réception a fait jour qu' elle n'avait pas entretenu sur le site , mais s'efforcerait de recevoir les lumières adressées le lendemain , malheureusement ce n'est pas arrivé . Mais comme mes amis ont dit , ce n' était pas la fin du monde et n' ont pas déduit leur séjour , mais il faudrait en parler avant que les nouveaux clients n' utilisent la chambre . Le petit déjeuner était de style buffet et était bon qu' il avait une option cuite , qui a été remplie très souvent , donc parfois un peu attendre pour toutes les options à disposition mais l' imo n' a pas causé un problème et signifie que tous les articles cuits étaient frais , toast , céréales , Le vendredi , nous avons dîné au restaurant après des boissons préalables dans le bar . La zone du bar et les boissons étaient fines bien que certains articles demandés n' étaient pas disponibles, pas de Tía Maria , pas de café flottant ( après-dinner ) , les prix étaient les prix inhabituels type d' hôtel 20-40% plus chers que les pubs donc pas de choc là ( d' autres commentaires questionés les prix ) Le dîner dans le restaurant était très bon, la nourriture était de bonne qualité et bien préparé et présenté ( encore basé sur les avis précédents que je ne m'attendais pas à ce ) si vous lirez l'un de mes autres commentaires vous saurez que je suis une nourriture, donc je ne l'apprécie que lorsque c'est Le service était bon jusqu' à ce que le déssert ( découvert plus tard , certains agents ont été utilisés dans le restaurant ) nous avons commandé un déssert chaud mais nous voulions aussi du glace avec lui , donc effectivement commandé deux désserts pour trois d' entre nous , Et cela semblait confondre l'un des serveurs qui ont grunté quand il n' a fait qu' un dessert de crème glacée , quand nous avons demandé les deux autres , mais il était dans la minorité et le reste des serveurs et du personnel étaient excellents. Le samedi soir , j' avais réservé un restaurant local pour dîner ( voir révision séparée ) et nous avons utilisé la société de taxi locale « Chris » , qui est en partie réservée par l' hôtel , Il nous a livrés et nous a recueillis de notre restaurant à un tarif d'hôtel ( très raisonnable).

La ville est très bien située, et le centre de la ville est très bien situé. La réception était très grande à l'apparence, mais c'est le seul bon point pour lequel cet hôtel a été envoyé. Pour la taille de l'endroit, il n'y a guère de personnel. La chambre que j'avais réservée n'était pas disponible maintenant, si bien que d'autres. Le coucher était en forme de coucher, la chambre était très raffinée et le meuble était une collection de morceaux aléatoires, notre table de café était manquée d'une jambe et a été propulsée par un fauteuil. Les chambres sont très confortables et confortables.

Stayed here for 1 night - 30th December as a couple. The Old Coffee Tavern is very central and a short walk from the castle. It's a middle-sized pub, with an open kitchen in the back that looks a bit odd and a slightly cramped bar but is clean and not too rowdy. We took a twin room right at the top with a shower room. It was nice, with a view over the town, and was clean and tidy with nice decor and all the bits and pieces you'd expect. If I were to be picky, I'd say the mini bar was both a bit noisy and also a bit superfluous, perched on a table as it was. The beds were clean and comfy and there was adequate storage. Breakfast in the morning came with attentive service, plenty of tea and coffee, and lots of choices. It was pretty good. All in all, then, this was a very nice place to stay in the heart of Warwick.

A l'heure où j'ai été surpris de payer pour le parking, j'ai dû me rendre à l'hôtel, un signe devant être donné aux clients pour le parking gratuit. Je pouvais me déplacer directement de la zone de stationnement car les barrières n'étaient pas en service, que l'hôtel savait, mais que je voulais encore payer la £6.50 pour notre séjour de nuit. La réception, le bar et le restaurant étaient agréables et modernes mais nous n'avions qu'une boisson dans le bar en raison des prix, Pint of Heineken et la moitié d'un coke était juste inférieur à £8, donc à seulement 5 minutes à pied dans le centre ville et 2 pubs locaux à quelques minutes à pied Le restaurant de l'hôtel est très bien, mais il est très bon de payer pour un bon repas, et il n'y a rien sur le menu limité que j'aime ma fille de 13 ans. Il est très bon pour la gestion de développer le menu de la famille à des prix raisonnables, même si c'est juste le menu du bar. L'hôtel est à de grandes positions. Si vous aimez jouer à la piscine, il y a un bar de piscine Rielys à 100 yards de l'hôtel. Je resterais encore ? Oui, le personnel était ami, l'hôtel était propre, avait un bon sommeil nocturne, le lit était confortable, la douche fonctionnait bien, la télévision grande, la grande position, les magasins locaux dehors, la distance de marche vers la ville, ma seule question vraiment, était que nous devions payer pour le parking à l'hôtel, Pour rester à l'hôtel, je ne pense pas que ça va.

This is a well placed traditional hotel. It offers basic bedroom accommodation with ensuite. Food and drink is offered by way of an independently run ”Bistro”. We only had breakfast. The bar closed at 10pm (before we returned from the play so not available to us. Breakfast was a disappoin**ent by modern European standards and also compared with the average b&b. The breakfast options were variations on a cooked breakfast with toast and the possibility of croissants or alternative french type breakfast patisserie. Cereals were limited cornflakes or similar/ Coffee was served nicely and appeared to be (and was called ) Americano i.e. not quite strong enough for the espresso lover. There was no hot milk so coffee was essentially lukewarm and weak. Muesli or fruit were absent. The scrambled eggs were overcooked. The staff were friendly and helpful but appeared overworked. Brexit and lack of alternative staff clearly taking its toll. So many ways the breakfast experience could be improved. All this is a pity because the location and the reasonably priced parking make for an ideal spot.
