We don't understand the negative reviews written about this hotel, we have never stayed anywhere as a family where we felt our happiness was put front and centre like it was here. Due to food allergies and dietary needs communication was established with George the manager before flying, who quickly assured us that as soon as we arrived our needs would be noted and met, and they certainly were! Dinos the chef came out to speak to us every night about meals we could eat or what he could whip up in the kitchen for our daughter, and Esmeralda was extremely helpful in the morning and lunch time slots to make sure we had what was needed both always with a smile and a hello. The food is amazing, the variety was fantastic and nothing was too much, we didn't ask for anything special but I'm now slightly addicted to the fritters Dinos cooked up! If you are a vegan, the food they provided - the burgers, fake chicken, kebabs etc was way better than what is available in the UK supermarkets. They provided dairy free butter and cheese and always showed us the packaging to double check. Grateful to George for the supermarket runs! The hotel is very clean and maintained to a high standard, the majority of the staff are so lovely, polite and welcoming, and learning a few basic greek phrases such as hello and thank you just seemed to make their day. The pool and beach areas are fantastic, even if they were busy it wasn't long before beds became available. Inclusive drinks were good, including the beer. Evening entertainment was brilliant and the social areas outside and the rooftop bar were comfortable and always clean. The town is a short walk down the beach (got lost trying to go down the roads, use the beach to the main ***** then head up). Again this hotel was a fantastic stay, George and his team made us feel like family visiting - and honestly what more could you ask for. N.B. If you are reading this from the UK thinking of booking with TUI - please don't. They were abysmal from start to finish, from check in (one staff member 300 people to check in) to return, TUI were a waste of money, and the days they book you into the hotel make no sense, as a family we had to pay for an extra day as our pick up was 3am and check out was 11am the day before - this is not the Galaxy's fault, but TUIs and they don't listen nor care, Zante airport was full of disgruntled families and travellers from all over Zante 100-200 euros out of pocket because TUI couldn't organise a drink in a brewery. There were no reps around, and the reps available on the app were robotic and the most non empathic people ever communicated with. JET2 were seen at the hotel a few times, book with them. As a family we loved our stay at the Galaxy, George and his team, including Dinos and Esmerelda made our stay an unforgettable one.

Nous avons hésité à venir suite aux commentaires précédents et au fait que l’hôtel vient d’ouvrir donc tout n’est pas encore prêt. Voilà un résumé rapide de ce qu’on y trouve : Points forts - La plage ! Grande, spacieuse, et bien qu’on ai pas de transats dessus et que ce soit une plage publique avec beaucoup de gens de l’extérieur qui l’utilisent, elle est en sable sans aucun galet ce qui est agréable - La mer. Elle est très chaude, et il y a des tortues qui s’y promènent, expérience incroyable d’avoir pu nager avec l’une d’elle que l’on avait croisé en pédalo. C’est le vrai avantage de cet hôtel. Sans ça, il ne vaudrait qu’1 ou 2 étoiles. Points faibles - Les chambres. Catastrophe, la clim ne marche pas 1 jour sur 2, et avec la chaleur c’est horrible. Le technicien ne vient jamais même si on descend prévenir la réception tous les jours. La douche coule en chaud/froid alterné et l’eau ne s’écoule pas dans le bac. Il a fallu 3 jours pour que quelqu’un se déplace pour constater ça et ensuite aucun technicien. On a dû changer de chambre également car de nombreux insectes se trouvaient sur les draps, ça nous grattait. - Les alarmes incendies 3x par jour, qui nous réveille a 9h ou 10h du matin parfois. On ne sait pas pour quelle raison. - Les lumières d’urgence qui s’allument la nuit dans les chambres pour des pannes de courant général. Tout l’hôtel qui se retrouve à la réception a 3h du matin. - Le buffet. Nourriture vraiment sans effort, mêmes plats qui reviennent souvent, pas beaucoup de goût. On a été malade le 2eme jour, gastro qui nous a bien remué. Les serveurs qui ne font pas beaucoup d’efforts. D’ailleurs, aucune pizza n’a été proposé (c’est quand même rare pour un hôtel) - Le bar de la piscine, qui ne fait qu’1/3 des cocktails proposés sur la carte. Certains jours on a eu des jus d’orange frais pressés, mais parfois les serveurs ne voulaient pas le faire et insistaient pour nous servir des jus en boîte. Obligés de forcer pour avoir les jus frais et en réponse « on ne fait pas de jus frais aujourd’hui » juste car ils ne voulaient pas s’embêter. - La réception, ils essaient de faire au mieux et sont gentils, mais il faut s’y déplacer plusieurs fois pour avoir un service, qu’ils nous disent qu’ils feront dès qu’ils peuvent, mais ils sont débordés. - La piscine beaucoup trop petite et envahie par des enfants, qui d’ailleurs fermé à 18h ?? du jamais vu alors qu’il fait beau et chaud jusqu’à 22h. Pas de piscine adulte. - Pas d’herbe mais que du sable sur tout l’hôtel - Les femmes de ménage qui viennent quand ça leur chante

Peaceful, friendly, helpful and generous establishment. My husband who is Coeliac and cannot eat gluten at all was extremely well catered for at every meal. The staff were very careful and double checked food with chef when unsure about recipe ingredients. We had a swim up room which was spacious and had air con, mini fridge, coffee pod machine , slippers, robes, pool towels and a super comfy double bed. Every evening there was additional housekeeping to replace towels and robes and chocolates were left on the bed too. There is a book exchange with books in different languages so a book for everyone. We were lucky enough to be there for olive harvesting and it was really interesting experience with lots of lovely local food and drink to try after we practiced beating the olives from the branches. The sea is still lovely and warm so great for a dip if you find the hotel pool a bit chilly. There are events happening every day around the hotel and they are happy to help you plan an outing away from the local area too. The grounds are varied and lots of different areas to relax in the sun or the shade if you prefer. Some of the other reviews only mention perceived negatives/ minor irregularities but the positives way out do ****************** you may find with the venue. Go with a warm heart and you will be met with the same.
