”La chambre était étonnamment plus confortable que prévu, à l'exception de la climatisation un peu bruyante. Le personnel de service de l'hôtel était très gentil et l'emplacement était très bon. Il y avait des supermarchés, des dépanneurs et des marchés nocturnes, donc vous pouviez répondre à tous vos besoins alimentaires. et les besoins en matière de shopping. Le parking était également bon !

Excellent. Mes enfants aiment la piscine et le terrain de jeu. Mon mari a aimé la salle de sport. La chambre est spacieuse. Nous avons choisi le grand deluxe et l'aime. Deux toilettes, comment pratique. J'ai entendu qu'il y avait des chambres connectées entre le deluxe et le grand deluxe. Le personnel est ami. Lorsque j'ai accidentellement quitté mes affaires après avoir vérifié, ils m'ont aidé à la chercher et je pouvais facilement le retrouver sans aucun malheur.

Le personnel de l'hôtel est très sympathique et vous aurez une très grande chambre. Le seul problème, c'est qu'elle date des années 70/80 (le jubilé de la reine d'Angleterre, pour rappel) et n'a pratiquement pas changé depuis. C'est une véritable machine à remonter le temps, très authentique, mais pas très propre. Le lit est nettoyé tous les jours, donc pas d'inquiétude ; c'est juste que tout est vieux et taché.

Passé 3 nuits ici à l'hôtel supérieur. Nous pouvons dire, d'abord l'hôtel était propre, les serviettes de lin étaient propres. La taille de la chambre était également surprenantment grande. Nous avions le lit double, mais cela est ok pour nous. Location sage, à seulement 7 km de l'aéroport. Le Dart coûte BND10 chaque fois. En termes de boutiques et de repas, il y a de nombreuses boutiques à pied. Ils ont lave-linge juste à côté de l'hôtel. Le petit déjeuner de l'hôtel a servi des repas à la maison, près des plats locaux. Nous sommes habitués à ce service, car il est presque comme notre propre. Enfin, mais le plus important serait l'amitié de tous leurs employés, dont 90% étaient filipinos. Ils sont très gentils et justement amis à tous les invités. Si nous reviendrons à Bandar Seri Begawan, nous ne regarderons que l'Higher Hotel.

I recently had a fantastic stay at The Centerpoint Hotel and couldn't recommend it more highly. If you are looking for the perfect blend of comfort and convenience in Brunei, this is the place to be. The absolute highlight of this hotel is its prime location. Situated right in the heart of Gadong, it is within easy walking distance to an endless variety of shops, boutiques, and diverse restaurants. Whether you are looking for international brands or local treasures, everything is right at your doorstep. Most importantly, it is just a short stroll away from the famous Gadong Night Market. Being able to walk over in the evening to sample incredible local street food—like grilled fish, satay, and kueh malaya—without worrying about parking or transport was a massive plus. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained, the staff are incredibly welcoming, and the central location makes exploring the rest of the city a breeze. A definite five-star experience!

L'hôtel est situé en plein centre-ville, à proximité d'un temple chinois. Le soir, l'endroit est calme. L'hôtel est très beau, mais le lit est peu confortable (trop dur) ; je n'ai pas bien dormi. Dans l'ensemble, la chambre est correcte, seul le lit pose problème. J'y ai séjourné deux fois pour des voyages d'affaires et je peux me promener en toute sécurité dans le centre-ville le soir.

📍Day 3 | 1st June 2025, Sunday The Empire Brunei 🇧🇳 After all the walking yesterday, today was all about rilexing in style—and what better place than the legendary Empire Brunei? ✅ And yes—it absolutely lived up to the hype. 😍 This place is more than just a hotel. It's basically its own little kingdom. Here’s what they offer: 🏀 Full country club (basketball, squash, badminton, table tennis, pools 🎱) 🏊♂️ Indoor swimming pools & jacuzzis 🏖️ Private beaches & lagoons 🚴♀️ Kayaks & bicycles 🎥 On-site cinema 👶 Kids Club 🍽️ 4 Restaurants ⛳ Golf course 🚙 Buggy rides everywhere (the place is huge!) We booked a Dart ride from Jubilee Hotel and arrived around 11AM. Although check-in was supposed to be at 2PM, we were warmly greeted by Hafiz at the front desk. He invited us to explore the facilities while we waited. Then… surprise! Our room was ready by 12PM and we even got a free upgrade to the Ocean King Sea View Room. Influencer perks? Maybe 😎 (Just kidding 😂). Thank you, Empire Brunei! A buggy took us straight to our room—and wow, it was huge, luxurious, and the sea view was something else. 🌊 Lunch was at Pantai Restaurant. My son loves the mini burgers 🍔 while we enjoyed the ocean breeze and relaxed atmosphere. Afterwards, we wandered the lobby and took in the stunning architecture—those iconic golden pillars are a masterpiece. 🏛️ After prayers, we changed into sport/swimwear and headed to the Country Club. I jumped into a pickup basketball game with two lads from the UK while wifey and my son relaxed in the indoor pool and jacuzzi nearby. 🏀🛁 Later, we visited the Kids Club— My son splashed happily while we took a breather. Just before sunset, we found a quiet spot outside. Brunei’s sunset? Absolutely underrated. 🌅 To wrap up the day, we stayed in for dinner (room service KA dendeng 😅). FYI, you need to put down a deposit to order room service. We were way too tired to head out again anyway. Rating? Empire Brunei = ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (7 stars, obviously 😂) Truly a 10/10 experience—elegant, peaceful, and unforgettable. Feeling recharged and grateful.

Nothing but 5 stars. Lets start with the location. Not very far from town as you can see from map. Neighbouring local kampung houses. Just below the hotel there is one fine restaurant that looks premium. Embun doesnt have many rooms, they gave me the room just behind the reception. Dont expect someone to man the counter, just press the bell and Mr Jimmy will come running. A superb friendly and attentivve gentleman. Room is very comfortable and very clean. Towel provided is clean. Water pressure and great with heater. It is very chilly in the morning if you aretakingt bath. Yes we are facing mangroove swamp and a nice huge river. Best part, TV is great with youtube. Apart from some board games at common hangout area, there is a pool at the back of the hotel facing the river. U cant really swim, just dip and enjoy the view. N Parking wise not an isue as there spaces for at least 9 cars. Now comes breakfast, not your usual hotel buffet, they served your breakfast personally with some nice omelette, local kuih and oranges. Very delicious. Will i come back again? Yes. Better than J Hotel which I frequent. Although embun doesnt have smart lighting and etc like J hotel where we uses a old school key to access our room, but the human side of Embun wins hands down. Love this hotel.

Je viens de quitter l'hôtel à midi aujourd'hui et j'ai hâte de laisser une bonne critique. L'hôtel est en plein centre-ville, très proche des attractions, des rues commerçantes et des villes d'eau. Les belles dames de la réception étaient attentives et patientes, et le beau chauffeur travaillait sans relâche pour prendre et déposer les invités. Le service de prise en charge et de dépose de l'hôtel pour les attractions est tellement réconfortant. Je n'ai jamais vu un service aussi bon. Très satisfait!

Tous les équipements et le personnel sont sympathiques. Situé à proximité de mon rendez-vous d'affaires. L'hôtel et les chambres sont propres et confortables.
