« J'ai réservé une chambre parent-enfant. La chambre est grande et chaleureusement décorée. Le petit-déjeuner est copieux et des collations gratuites sont proposées en fin de soirée (nouilles, etc.) après 21 heures. Il y a une machine à café au troisième étage pour que vous puissiez en profiter à tout moment. Le restaurant propose des plats sautés et des fondues. C'est bien d'avoir une petite fondue le soir après avoir été fatigué de jouer pendant la journée. Le mouton est très tendre et les ingrédients sont riches. L'emplacement de l'hôtel est très proche de la gare de l'Est et non loin du musée. »

« Hotel room is clean and bed comfortable. Hot water pressure is sufficient. However, hotel turn off air conditioning in the night making it very uncomfortable for guest to stay as room is stuffy. When contacted recep staff, he is unable to resolve the issue and whole night we cannot sleep (waking up multiple times ) and totally exhausted the next day. Was told they only turn on air conditioning 12 hrs a day but later the morning staff advised air conditioning spoiled which is weird because the night staff is not aware of such situation. Was then advised again that some guests think that air conditioning is too cold. Not acceptable for a 4stars hotel. »

Il y a six ascenseurs au total : quatre ascenseurs touristiques et deux ascenseurs standard. « As expected from Wanda, the hotel was great! However, we didn't have a good experience at the receptionist. The staff was talking about us in Mandarin thinking that we do not understand Mandarin. She even help their own local to check-in while she is still holding on to our passports and doing the administrative work, which we feel that it was rather unprofessional. She was already processing our IDs and then she went to assist another person to check-in and then complete our check-in process. This has resulted us to check-in rather late. She was sighing throughout the whole process. This service is definitely not what we expected from Wanda. After giving us our rooms, the worst thing is there is only ONE bed when we travel up to check in. We have to come back all the way down for the same lady to change our rooms once again. Breakfast buffet, i think it could be better! There are quite a number of local food which is rather tasty. It wasnt something i will go a second time. Location was quite far from the main attractions. »

This resort feels like an oasis in the middle of the desert. Beautiful, spacious, impeccably clean, and every bit deserving of its 5-star reputation. Our room was comfortable, spotless, and thankfully free from any cigarette smell. The laundry room was another pleasant surprise, equipped with new and well-maintained washers and dryers, with detergent provided for guests' convenience. All meals are included and served in the dining hall, making the stay truly hassle-free. The food was consistently good, with hotpot available for dinner. Drinks, snacks, and refreshments were also available throughout the day. It would be difficult to leave this place without gaining a little weight! 😜 Given the size of the resort, guests may occasionally need to use the resort's transportation to get around. Fortunately, the waiting time was minimal, and we were able to travel between locations quickly and efficiently. One minor drawback of the resort's impressive size is the walking distance to some rooms. The accommodation blocks are built in a circular layout, and our room happened to be located on the opposite side from the escalator landing. This meant walking past nearly 50 rooms every time we returned to our room. While this could be inconvenient, we did notice that the rooms closer to the escalator often had a noticeable cigarette smell in the corridor. By contrast, our section at the far end was completely free of smoke odours, which made the extra walk worthwhile. Whether these were designated non-smoking rooms, I'm not entirely sure. What truly sets this resort apart is the range of activities and entertainment on offer. Guests can enjoy camel rides, ATV adventures, flying fox rides, guided stargazing walks, and nightly concerts and performances complete with spectacular fireworks displays. 🌌🐪🏍️🎆 For those looking for a Club Med-style, all-inclusive holiday with a unique desert setting, I would highly recommend this resort. It offers a memorable experience that combines comfort, adventure, entertainment, and excellent food in one remarkable destination.

The hotel’s location was very convenient — it’s right next to some of Hohhot’s major hospitals, which made getting around quite easy. The room was clean, and although there was no central heating, the air conditioner provided enough warmth. Our room faced the main road, so it was a bit noisy at times. Also, there was no mini-bar/fridge in the room, which was a bit inconvenient. Communication with the staff was slightly challenging since they don’t speak English, but we managed. Overall, it was a decent stay with good cleanliness and a convenient location.

Sheyi Tea Culture hotel was an amazing stay, definitely a must stay if visiting Hohhot! Food & Drink 🫖 This hotel is also a tea house and it is a tea drinker’s dream! First the room a booked came with my own tea brewing equipment and a tea brewing table with an excellent view and comfortable seats! But that is just the beginning, as you head down to the main floor a fully stocked, beautiful tea house & cafe awaits you. Daily tea and even delicious milk tea is always available. Private table sets and outdoor seating is available too. The tea masters are skilled and attentive, which made all my tea drinking experiences fun and enjoyable! You can also purchase various tea and tea ware right in the tea house. Location 📍 This hotel is perfectly located close to the near by Ancient Street, with many close by temples and shrines to visit. A craft street is close by and available all day, while a famous local food street opens up for colourful night time snacking in the evening. Many close by restaurants offering authentic local cuisine, I recommend reading the hotel’s recommendations as they were always great. If you need even more tea experience, there is a nearby tea wholesale market and many high end tea house in the area as well. The Room 🛌 The room I stayed in had lots of space, was very clean and had everything you could need to feel comfortable. Daily bathroom necessities are provided. High quality bedding, robes and slippers are waiting for you. High end bathroom equipment is installed, with hot water always available. Premium television is set up and Wifi connection always had high speeds. A beautiful kettle and tea set can be used to make tea with daily water and a welcome tea package provided. Staff 👩⚕️ The staff were very king and helpful right from check in. Actually even before check in they were helping bring my luggage inside! They were patient with communication as I was a foreign visitor. They answered any and all questions I had. They recommended great tea and amazing restaurants! The staff were always available and always smiling! Such great people really made my stay a dream. This was probably the nicest hotel I have stayed in and I definitely would recommend it to anyone visiting Hohhot! I will be back again for sure.
