The hotel is conveniently located just outside the city centre. The staff are most professional and helpful, and keen to make one's stay as comfortable as possible. The building itself, however, is old and badly in need of a complete upgrade to bring it up to modern standards. The room was clean but scruffy wit9h chipped paint,, and fixtures and fittings stuck firmly in the 1970s. The bed was acceptable but the sprung mattress bore witness to its antiquity and should be replaced with a modern foam mattress.

À l'arrivée, j'ai reçu une très chaleureuse réception de la part du personnel et ils ont mis à niveau la chambre qui était jolie c'est très propre et semble moderne les lits confortable TV travaille grande et WiFi est bonne chambre très chaude et dorm bien a été le petit-déjeuner continental était une bonne sélection Le personnel était très gentil alors que l'anglais plein n'avait pas les travaux mais était plein serait certainement rester ici encore il est au milieu de la ville et 5 minutes à pied de la gare donc vous avez tout ce dont vous avez besoin près

The fabric of the building was a little worn and tired. All staff we spoke to were friendly and helpful. Didn’t eat in so can’t comment on that. Great variety of food available in the Wool Market, 3 minutes walk away.

Good stay really helpful staff inside, nice walk around the campus village, room was clean decent size and basic items, no kettle in the room but we noticed a kitchen on floor 1 so unsure if you can use that if you require longer stays, overall really good and friendly service offered a pastry and coffee in the morning, coffee was basic but you can order a speciality coffee at reception/cafe if you like. Very affordable

Nice and clean big room for a couple. In particular, I found the bedsheets, toilet and carpet nice and clean. Good central location. It was also the first time in my many travels I found a heated towel rail in the shower room/toilet that actually worked, meaning for the days we stayed there our towels stayed dry. Lots of parking spaces at the front and back of the building at £9 per day. I also quite liked the traditional building style, including stairs inside - definitely different from many cheap modern hotel buildings relying on cheap lifts. Finally, the receptionists at the reception were all excellent - professional and friendly and very helpful in meeting our needs, such as providing extra tea bags and milk and information on walking around the area. Happy to recommend and stay there again.

Decent hotel located at the heart of city. The lobby of the hotel was spacious, food in the bar was yummy. Room was spacious and tidy. Will consider to stay again in future.

Ideal location to an event we were attending at the Don Valley bowl. Both guys on reception very helpful. Parking onsite which was great. Allowed us to check in early as we needed to attend an event. Room was clean and smelt clean also. Decorating and furniture was dated, but this didn’t affect our stay. There was a constant noise, possibly in the pipes… but it was something we got used to. I would stay again as it was reasonably priced, considering hotels closer to our event was 5 times the price. Thank you 🙂

L'hôtel est très propre, une chambre spacieuse, un lit confortable, tout ce que vous avez besoin. La dernière nuit, je ne pouvais pas entrer dans ma chambre avec la clé, il était déjà parti à minuit, donc je suis fatigué et juste voulu aller dormir, Il a pris 2 voyages à la réception du haut de la planche avant que cela ait été résolu qui m'a fait assez annoncé. Le petit déjeuner était un peu décevant, très basiquement sélectionné sur le côté continental et les sauces étaient de très mauvaise qualité et ne pouvaient pas manger. Il y a cependant une carverie Toby sur la route où j'avais petit déjeuner le jour avant à un prix plus cher, je recommanderais d'y aller au lieu
