« I genuinely loved my stay at the Holiday Inn Racecourse. Everything was just so well done—the rooms were clean, the amenities were great, and the service was totally premium. Plus, getting that view of the racecourse was such a nice touch. It’s in a really sweet spot, too. You can easily hop on the metro or head over to Majestic, and places like Cubbon Park and UB City are super close, even though the airport is a bit of a drive. The breakfast was amazing and the staff were so nice. Overall, such a great vibe. I'll definitely be back! »

« This was definitely my favorite hotel I stayed in over my first 2 weeks in India. The location was great, it was very convenient for public transport and finding cabs/tuk tuks. The rooms were spacious and clean, everything worked properly, and they were very comfortable. The property had an attached bar/restaurant with really good staff that made good food. The staff was very accommodating. Breakfast was free on the 7th floor of the hotel and was pretty decent, although there wasn’t nearly enough seating in that area for guests (I sat and ate on the steps outside one morning) and they didn’t serve coffee. My biggest complaint was about the wifi. Each floor had 2 different routers, which I thought was overkill, but then I realized was necessary because maybe 25% of the routers worked properly at any given time. At one point during my stay none of the routers worked with an iPhone somehow (me and the only employee with an iPhone couldn’t access internet). My laptop was only able to access the internet in the lobby. And switching between routers every so often was necessary to keep connected. WiFi aside, this hotel was a super comfortable place to stay, and the price made it a good value. I would absolutely stay here again if I came back to Bengaluru »

However, I did find the room a bit dark for my liking, which is something to keep in mind depending on your preference for natural light. The staff at the hotel were a highlight, always engaging and ready to assist, which made a significant difference in the quality of my stay. Their helpfulness and friendliness added a personal touch that I appreciated. One of the standout features of Olive Magrath was the amazing co-working space available. It's an ideal spot for digital nomads or anyone working online, offering a comfortable and productive environment to get work done. The hotel's location is another big plus, conveniently situated and easily accessible, making it a breeze to explore the city or get to business meetings. Based on my experience, I would certainly recommend Olive Magrath to those visiting Bangalore, especially if you're working while traveling. The combination of helpful staff, great co-working space, and convenient location makes it a strong contender. I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Bangalore. »

« I would only recommend this hotel for short stays—definitely not for anything more than 2 nights. My 8-night experience had several issues that made it far from comfortable for a longer stay. From the start, there were small issues that should have been easily resolved but weren’t. The chair in my room was broken and never replaced. The in-room safe was locked, and when I requested help, I was told that the previous guest had locked it. I found it strange that the hotel didn’t have a master key or a proper way to reset the safe—it’s basic hotel management. There were also a couple of mini cockroaches spotted in the toilet. While I only saw two or three during my entire stay and the room was generally clean, it still points to a lack of proper pest control. A major letdown was the lack of water heaters throughout the hotel. This is a basic amenity, and after checking, I found that all the neighbouring hotels do offer hot water for bathing. It’s quite disappointing and uncomfortable, especially when staying for multiple nights. Breakfast was another area that needed improvement. It’s not a buffet or continental spread as one might expect, but rather a limited Indian breakfast menu. Even when there were only two guests, the wait time was 15–30 minutes for a simple meal. The taste was very good, though, so that deserves some credit. Location-wise, there’s a McDonald’s and a fantastic mandi restaurant called Al Zara just a 5-minute walk away, which was a plus. The staff are generally quiet and keep to themselves, although the receptionist usually greeted me, which was nice. However, the checkout experience really soured my impression. I had a night flight and went to the office during the day, so I checked out in the morning and asked to store my luggage. Shockingly, there was no proper storage room. I was just told to leave my luggage near the small reception counter, which felt extremely unsafe—especially since the receptionist isn’t always there. While they mentioned a CCTV was present, it’s a huge risk if something were to go wrong. Later that evening, I came back to collect my luggage and asked for a toothbrush to freshen up before my flight. To my shock, the receptionist and housekeeping actually discussed whether they should charge me for it—even though I only requested a replacement toothbrush once during my entire 8-night stay. Thankfully, they didn’t charge in the end, but the fact that it was even up for discussion left a bad taste. All in all, while the hotel had some good points like the food taste and room cleanliness, the lack of basic amenities, poor after-checkout hospitality, and questionable service decisions make it hard for me to recommend this place—especially for longer stays. »

« ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Notre première fois en Inde, et quelle étonnante séjour à l'hôtel Chancery! J'ai séjourné ici avec un groupe de 6 étudiants, et dès notre arrivée, nous avons été traités avec une hospitalité de classe supérieure. Le personnel nous a accueillis avec des sourires, des portes ouvertes, aidés avec nos bagages, et a personnellement fourni tout droit à nos portes de chambre vraiment impressionnant service depuis le début jusqu'à la fin. Les chambres sont calmes, propres et super confortables. Le petit déjeuner était une autre évidence! Une large sélection d'options alimentaires indiennes et japonaises aussi une telle surprise agréable et absolument délicieuse. Il y a aussi une salle de sport à l'hôtel, parfaite pour brûler de tous les bons aliments 😂💪. La location-wise, il n'arrive pas mieux que ça. MG Road est à pied, avec beaucoup de restaurants, boutiques et centres de commerce à proximité. Globalement, l'hôtel Chancery est fiable, très précieux pour l'argent et très recommandé. Un grand cri à tous les membres du personnel de l'entrée, du bureau frontal, du restaurant, à la garde de maison chacun d'entre vous était ami, professionnel, et toujours souriant 👍👏. Gestionnaire, vous avez vraiment une équipe merveilleuse... ils méritent une augmentation! 😄 Merci de faire de notre première expérience en Inde une telle mémorable 🇮🇳❤️ »
