« I’m giving my honest opinion. This is my first unsatisfied review for a hotel room. I was very disappointed by the room for the price I paid. I paid more for this room than what I paid for luxury upscaled room near Tokyo Disney. The photos online were very deceiving. When I entered my room, it was gross, i cringed, and my toes curled. I didn’t want to put my belongings down. The carpet was old and disgusting. The pull out couch bed was gross. There were stains on the couch back rest and the mattress. The sheet for the mattress was too small it didn’t cover the stained mattress. The beds were hard and didn’t feel clean. The shower curtain had a bad odor. The room was very dated. Since this hotel is pretty secluded and other hotels were booked we had to make do. I’m glad we only stayed one night. On a better note, the staff were very friendly and service was great. Location for skiing was amazing, and the free shuttle bus was fabulous. Naeba Prince Hotel really need to do better with their rooms. I was looking forward to bringing my entire family of 14 to stay a few nights next year, but after seeing the rooms, I will not stay here again unless they renovate their rooms which are in dire need of upgrades. »

« One of the nicest hotels we stayed in Japan. We had stayed in a traditional japanese room with Futon beds with an amazing view, compared to some hotels stayed in Tokyo, staff here were so kind, patient and helpful. We had come here to Ski which was wonderful as the resort comes with its own ski garden and lift passes which we were given (so generous and kind thank you!), there is also a lovely onsen onsite for hotel guests to use (free). Even though this resort may seem like a walk to the train station there is a timely shuttle bus service to and from with lovely staff there to help. Would recommend and definitely would come again! »

« The hotel itself was nice, but the staff at the ski resort was horrible, the rentals are also not well maintained. The boards are not waxed, which makes it difficult to work with as there are a lot of flat routes which are difficult to avoid (Pony and village road were the flattest slope Ive ever seen in my life, I had to unstrap and walk and the board just wouldn't move). Ski resort staff were unfriendly and the rental staff was the worst, there was a lady there that was cold and rude. The only reason why the rental shop is surviving is probably because the equipments are salomon branded and that there is no other option.  I would visit again but only because the routes are fun, Myoko long run was the best, but I would never want to rent from the shop again. The food was very very good. For breakfast, you could choose from western or Japanese buffet. Western buffet is highly recommended, the omelette was the best ive eaten in my life and there was a diy risotto which was great as well. For dinner, there were 4 options, either buffet, steak, Japanese or shabushabu. All requiring reservations which is tough if you are checking in the evening as some might not be available. Highly recommend the steak, the food was good and the staff were amazing. Japanese was the hardest to get a reservation for but the food was quite underwhelming. The room was clean and ski lockers are also provided but it's tiny and can barely fit 2 boards. But I wish that in the toilet in the common area, you can adjust the tap temperature as the water is freezing cold. Amenities wise, bottled water are provided daily, also, yukata was provided but you can only wear them to the onsen which was extremely troublesome as I had to change multiple times a day.  The hotel provides shuttle bus services to and fro jyoetsumyoko station which was easy to book. The bus drivers were also friendly and helped out with the luggage. In summary, for a 5 stars hotel, it didn't live up to expectations, ski resort and rental staffs were unwilling to help and unfriendly. Also, some of the staffs could not speak Japanese which is puzzling for a hotel in Japan. If not for the amazing snow and slopes I would never come back. »

« Très bon hôtel chaud! L'hôtel est très propre et propre, la chambre est très grande et confortable, avec deux canots de bain de visage très pratique. Le chaud doit passer par le pont au bâtiment opposé, l'eau chaude est très chaude, mais le vent ne peut pas être révélé vraiment en plein air, car il y a des bâtiments autour, donc la position en plein air est froide et peut se sentir à l'extérieur. Un bout de nourriture est très riche et a un poids super. Cet hôtel chaud est très bon, le personnel est également très amical et poli, il n'y a pas de mauvais endroit! »

« La chambre était excellente, mais je dirai qu'elle était conforme au style habituel japonais de l'hôtel avec des chambres plus petites. Il y avait cependant plus que assez de chambre pour mon mari et moi. La salle de bain était fabuleuse et tout était très confortable. Le personnel était très aimable et utile, surtout quand il s'agissait de questions avec la neige. »

« It’s quite a walk from the station, but the hotel offers a shuttle to Echigo‑Yuzawa, though the frequency is a bit limited. Overall, the stay was really nice. My only small complaint is that they provided just two small bottles of water for a two‑night stay. »

« En tant qu'hôtel de chaîne, il ressemble beaucoup au Tokyo Kanda Comfort Hotel, tant au niveau de l'agencement que du petit-déjeuner. Le service est excellent, l'hôtel est propre et calme, et des vélos sont mis gratuitement à disposition. J'ai d'ailleurs choisi cet hôtel précisément pour les vélos ! Comme il n'y a pas de transports en commun à Tsubame, les étrangers sans permis de conduire japonais ne peuvent ni louer de voiture ni faire appel à un chauffeur privé ; ils doivent donc se déplacer à vélo. Heureusement, Tsubame n'est pas une grande ville, ce qui m'a permis d'aller presque partout. Ce voyage était un retour après 25 ans, et il a fait ressurgir de nombreux souvenirs. Beaucoup de mes anciens collègues sont décédés, mais j'ai revu ceux avec qui j'étais resté en contact. C'était très réconfortant et joyeux ! Je souhaite à tous une vie heureuse et épanouissante ! Ce monde est vraiment magnifique ! »

« Nous ne pouvons pas porter nos propres chaussures une fois que nous entrerons dans le hall. Il est très inconfortable de marcher aux pieds de bar dans les restaurants, peu importe combien ils gardent les sols propres, il y aura des décharges alimentaires et des surfaces oléagineuses. Le petit déjeuner et le dîner sont excellents, il suffit de plus de variété pour les invités qui séjournent plus de 3 jours. »

« Un très bel hôtel avec des chambres spacieuses et un service impeccable. Nous avons eu la chance d'être assistés, à notre arrivée comme à notre départ, par un membre du personnel parlant cantonais. Le dîner et le petit-déjeuner étaient servis sous forme de buffet avec un large choix de plats. Les onsen (sources thermales) du bâtiment principal et de l'annexe étaient excellents, et le paysage automnal des montagnes environnantes était à couper le souffle. »
