« La première nuit s'est bien passée : le lit était confortable et la chambre semblait propre. Malheureusement, tout a basculé lorsque nous avons découvert plusieurs cafards. Nous l'avons immédiatement signalé à la réception, mais il s'est avéré qu'ils n'avaient plus d'insecticide. Ils nous ont promis un nettoyage complet le lendemain. Malheureusement, nous avons (vraisemblablement) reçu la visite du même cafard trois nuits de suite. Nous avons donc dormi avec toutes les lumières allumées et la climatisation réglée à 18 degrés Celsius, dans l'espoir de les éloigner. Bien que le reste de notre séjour se soit globalement bien déroulé, ce problème persistant de cafards nous a dissuadés de revenir. »

« L'endroit était très calme et paisible. À environ 25 minutes à pied du centre-ville. Le personnel était extrêmement sympathique et serviable. La chambre était petite, mais on pouvait y ranger les bagages sous le lit. L'eau de la salle de bain était tiède. Les lits étaient confortables. »

L'hôtel est très propre, moderne et bien entretenu, offrant une sensation de luxe sans le prix élevé. Tout semble frais et conçu avec soin, rendant le séjour confortable et relaxant. Ce qui ressort vraiment, c'est le personnel amical et abordable – ils sont toujours souriants, serviables et se soucient sincèrement des clients. Une mention spéciale au propriétaire très impliqué, Bonly, qui est très accueillant et attentif, s'assurant que tout se passe bien et que les clients se sentent comme chez eux. L'emplacement est parfait – en plein centre de Kampot, proche des restaurants, cafés et lieux clés, tout en étant suffisamment paisible pour bien se reposer. Pour la qualité, le confort et le service que vous obtenez, le KKP Hotel est très abordable et offre un excellent rapport qualité-prix. Hautement recommandé pour les voyageurs qui recherchent confort, commodité et une touche de luxe lors de leur séjour à Kampot. J'y retournerais sans hésiter. »

« Montagne Residence offers a comfortable stay with some standout features, especially for travelers who value space and style. The rooms are impressively large, giving plenty of space to relax, unpack, and feel at home rather than cramped like in many hotels. The overall design of the property is modern and clean, with a minimalist aesthetic that makes the environment feel fresh and well-maintained. One of the highlights is the swimming pool, which adds a nice touch for relaxing after a long day. The surrounding area complements the modern design of the residence, creating a pleasant atmosphere to unwind. However, there are a couple of drawbacks worth noting. The air conditioning can be quite weak, which may make the room less comfortable, especially in hot weather. Additionally, there tend to be quite a lot of mosquitoes around the property, which can be inconvenient if you're sensitive to bites or planning to spend time outdoors. Overall, Montagne Residence is a good option if you prioritize spacious rooms and modern design, but improvements in cooling and pest control would make the experience much better. »

« An absolutely wonderful hotel! It's clear that the property is regularly cleaned and well maintained. They also offer motorbike rentals, and the location is very convenient. I enjoyed my stay so much that I decided to extend it last time. The owner is very kind and friendly, and I definitely plan to stay here again! »

« Chambre propre et emplacement plutôt intime. Attention cependant aux publicités mensongères. Il est indiqué que le « Sky Cottage King » dispose d'une « TV LCD », mais il n'y avait pas de télévision du tout. J'ai appelé la réception pour vérifier, et la seule explication était que toutes les autres chambres « Sky Cottage King » n'avaient pas de télévision non plus. J'ai suggéré à la réception d'informer la direction afin qu'elle mette à jour les informations, mais elle n'a pas répondu. J'ai finalement demandé un délai de départ plus long, ce qu'elle a accepté, mais il n'a pas semblé inquiet ni s'excuser de la préoccupation ou de la suggestion du client. »

« Je n'ai jamais regretté d'avoir choisi cet hôtel pour mon séjour de trois jours à Kampot en tant que voyageur solo. Excellent emplacement (5 minutes à pied des restaurants touristiques et de la promenade), grande taille de la chambre, grand espace de travail, climatisation, réfrigérateur, wi-fi, grande douche. Il y a même un petit balcon, même s'il y faisait très chaud à cause du climatiseur extérieur, mais j'ai pu y sécher tous mes t-shirts après les avoir lavés. Nettoyage quotidien, eau et thé gratuits. Le personnel est très gentil. Le petit déjeuner est bon. Magnifique vue depuis la fenêtre sur la ville et les montagnes. Il y a un restaurant vietnamien à proximité où vous pourrez déguster un excellent pho bo pour 2,50 $. C'est dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de piscine, sinon tout est super. Je me suis arrêté là sans réfléchir. P.S. Un jour, l'électricité dans la pièce a été coupée et n'a pas voulu se rallumer. J'ai dû déménager dans une autre pièce. Les photographies proviennent donc de deux pièces différentes. La vue depuis la nouvelle chambre n'était pas moins époustouflante que depuis la précédente, donc je n'étais pas déçu. »

« It was my first trip to Kampot so I searched for a hotel which was close to the city center, with good reviews, spacious rooms, at a good price. Chateau Kampot fit perfectly with what I was looking for. The hotel was newly opened in the beginning of 2026. I like the colonial style architecture combined with a very modern design. I especially liked the arched wall openings throughout the interior and exterior of the building. I booked the Executive Suite for my 4 night stay. The check in process upon my arrival was very smooth and pleasant. After check in, the person at the reception (front) desk provided me with a map of the city and pointed out several recommended places to visit. My room was very spacious and ultra clean. It came with a couple of lounge chairs to relax in and a nice balcony with a table and chairs to enjoy the fresh air and views of the city. My favorite part of the whole room was the bed. The linens were so crisp and clean; the mattress had an additional pad which felt like you were sleeping on a cloud. I travel quite a bit and sometimes stay at luxury hotels and the bed at Chateau Kampot was one of the best I slept in. I enjoyed the very nice pool which included a jacuzzi and a small peaceful water fall. The pool was long enough to swim some laps for exercise. There was a small fitness center with dumbbells, weightlifting bench, and 2 cardio machines to keep my exercise routine going during my stay. There is also a nice spa in the hotel with massages and body scrubs & wraps at a reasonable price. The hotel also gives you a complimentary 30 minute massage in addition to 30% discounts on other spa services at the time of my stay. The breakfast was well prepared and delicious. You select off the menu with either Western or Asian offerings. My favorite was the eggs Benedict; the fact that it was done perfectly shows the skill of the chef. The coffee brewed with local beans was also of excellent quality. The staff members at the hotel are very professional and customer focused. The gentleman at the reception desk were always friendly and pleasant. They were also eager to help with anything to make your stay in Kampot enjoyable. One gentleman at the reception desk arranged a tuk tuk driver for a day tour of Bokor Mountain. The driver was so friendly and spoke perfect English which made for a wonderful day. This hotel is family-owned and focused on providing their guests with the best experience. During my stay, two family members on separate occasions approached me to see how my stay was going and asked for feedback on how they could improve their hotel and services. This personal interaction with their guests display their desire to make their hotel the best it could be. I highly recommend the Chateau Kampot and will definitely stay there again for my next trip to Kampot. »

« I had a wonderful time staying here. The staff were really kind and helpful. I had a problem with the bed light and they sorted it out quickly. The bed was comfortable. The facilities were spacious, clean, and worked. The restaurant food was good and service fast. I would recommend anyone stay here. 10/10. »
