My favourite hotel. Everytime i travel to kuching, i will stay at this hotel. Located in font of kuching airport. just few minute away from kuching city.
The room is spacious and clean. Staff is friendly. The process from check in to check out is so smooth. This hotel is so recommended.

La chambre est grande et bien située. Il y a un centre commercial en bas. De la chambre, on a vue sur l'Assemblée de l'État de Kuching. Il y a aussi une fontaine musicale à 21 h. J'y retournerai sans hésiter.

Bon emplacement, propre, wifi efficace, personnel très aimable et attentionné, bon rapport qualité / prix.
Un problème cependant. Il faudrait revoir le système de ralentissement de fermeture des portes des chambres. Des clients indélicats n'ont pas cessé de passer d'une chambre à l'autre, toutes les 5 minutes ou moins, en laissant claquer leurs portes jusque très tard. Difficile de s'endormir ! A part ce problème, mais qui n'est pas à négliger, le séjour de deux nuits aurait été parfait.

La chambre est correcte et propre, le prix est raisonnable, mais il n'y a pas de choix pour le petit-déjeuner, le prix ne correspond pas au menu proposé, c'est trop cher. Et pour le paiement du petit-déjeuner pour les enfants, cela ne vaut pas la nourriture fournie, il n'y a pas de choix pour le petit-déjeuner...

Had a pleasant stay here. The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained, offering good value for money. The location is convenient, with plenty of food options and shops nearby. The hotel serves a simple yet delicious breakfast. I especially enjoyed the Chinese style dishes. The dining area was also comfortable and relaxing. Staff were friendly and helpful, and check in was smooth. One minor issue was the room air conditioning was extremely cold and difficult to adjust, so we had to turn it off during our stay. Overall, still a good choice for a comfortable and affordable stay in Miri. Would consider staying here again.

Hotel location is great. First night when we arrived, we were assigned with a connecting room and the AC noise was unbearable even after it was turned off. After we requested for changing the room, the staff gave us a different room where the AC was normal. The shower room cleanliness needs to be improved, a lot of water stains but if you’re not picky, it’s not that obvious. River view room is definitely the best but I’d say the city view is not bad either. For pool access you need to go to the Putri wing, it’s not in Astana wing.

Nothing fancy but very practical and strategically located hotel at the riverside. Good for business or couple. The room is clean, mattress is solid and the shower pressure is so far the best over my years of travelling. The rates are the better one as compared to other neighbors. The reception is also friendly. 7-11 convenient stall located opposite hotel entrance.

La chambre est spacieuse et confortable, la seule chose est qu'elle est un peu vieille, la location est bonne. Il faut toujours demander aux gardiens de rentrer la chambre si le papier est là, il y avait un jour que nous avons juste mis des lumières vertes sur la maison et ignoré le papier, la chambre n'était pas propre quand nous rentrions la nuit.

During my recent stay, I had the pleasure of experiencing one of the most spacious and well-equipped rooms I’ve ever booked within this price range. The room was exceptionally huge, offering more than enough space to move around freely without feeling cramped or cluttered. Whether you’re traveling solo, with a partner, or even with family, the room size can easily accommodate extra luggage or a few hours of in-room activities without making the space feel overcrowded.
One of the first things I appreciated was how clean and organized everything was upon arrival. The bed was neatly made, the floor spotless, and all surfaces dust-free. The layout of the room was practical, with the furniture arranged in a way that made the space feel both functional and cozy. The bed was large and comfortable, providing excellent rest after a long day. The pillows and blankets provided were also of good quality, not too stiff and not too soft—just right for a peaceful night’s sleep.
Amenities in the room were impressive and met all basic needs for a comfortable stay. Firstly, the hot water functioned perfectly, which is always a plus point in any accommodation. Some places advertise hot showers only for you to find lukewarm water at best—but not here. The water pressure was just right, and the shower area was clean and equipped with enough towels and toiletries to last through the stay.
Another amenity that stood out was the mini fridge. This was particularly convenient as I was able to store snacks and drinks to enjoy at my leisure. It worked well and was clean inside—no foul smells or leftover stains. It's always great to have a functioning fridge in the room, especially for longer stays.
There was also a television available in the room, which offered a decent selection of channels. While I didn’t spend too much time watching TV, it was a nice option to have, especially if you're planning on relaxing in the room for the evening. The remote worked, and the image quality was clear with no issues in signal.
Small touches like a clothes rack, a mirror, and a desk or table were also present, which added to the practicality of the room. It was easy to keep things organized and have a spot to sit down and work or eat if needed.
Overall, I would say this stay was well worth the value. The room was not only large and comfortable but also thoughtfully equipped with everything one might need for a short or even extended stay. It’s clear that attention was paid to guest comfort and convenience. For anyone looking for a spacious, clean, and well-maintained place with all the essential amenities functioning as expected, I would definitely recommend this accommodation.

IInvitéDamai Lagoon Resort is nestled between the Mountain Santubong and the South China Sea. The resort environment is serene tugged in a tropical rainforest setting. The area provides a tranquil retreat with dense jungles and sandy beaches. The Sarawak Cultural Village is located just a stone’s throw away. It is within 10 minutes walking distance.
We were given all sea-fronting views with one corner rooms on the 3rd floor. We could listen to the waves crashing on the beach during high tide. The spacious space coupled with modern shower amenities and comfortable bedding made our stay an enjoyable experience and we had a relaxing time there. The buffet breakfast served was sumptuous with wide spread of local cuisines.
We enjoyed swimming in the clean infinity pool in a sunset backdrop. There are many indoor games provided for the children. Thus, you will not get bored staying in this resort. The resort entrance is grand and the guest lounge is huge and beautiful overlooking the sea.
The resort staff members are very helpful and friendly. The resort is highly recommended if you want to have a relaxing holiday outside Kuching city.

IInvitéOverall, the stay itself was comfortable, and the room met expectations. The hotel's aesthetic is elegant and beautiful, and its location is convenient, surrounded by chinese restaurants within easy walking distance. The breakfast buffet was also good and enjoyable. However, the experience was unfortunately dampened by issues at the front desk, hygiene standards in the common areas, and soundproofing. We arrived around 10am and requested an early check-in, fully understanding that the standard check-in time is 2pm and that any earlier arrangement is subject to room availability and discretion. However, we were told by staff that early check-in would only be possible with an additional charge of RM160. This created an uncomfortable impression where it felt less like a matter of room availability and more like withholding an available room in order to impose extra charges. The tone suggests monetising convenience which we weren't particularly happy about.
After checked-in around 5pm. we noticed dirty plates on the floor left near the lift area. What was more concerning was that these plates were still there in the same spot the next morning when we checked out. This raised questions about cleanliness and hygiene, especially in shared spaces. In addition, the soundproofing could be improved. Noise from children crying near the lift was clearly audible, and due to the hotel's proximity to the airport, airplane noise could also be heard. This may be a concern for light sleepers or guests seeking a quieter stay.
While the room and overall stay were generally good, these experiences affected our impression.

YYourhighnessC'est notre cinquième séjour au Hilton Kuching et nous avons toujours été satisfaits de la propreté impeccable des chambres. Cependant, cette fois-ci, notre chambre était moins propre et en moins bon état que les précédentes. L'enregistrement s'est très bien passé grâce à Bong. Un autre point à noter : la préposée au parking du hall, une femme aux cheveux courts, semblait assez désagréable. Je doute que ce soit l'image que l'on se fait d'un service hôtelier au Hilton Kuching, car elle ne souriait même pas, contrairement au reste du personnel du parking, très aimable et accueillant, comme toujours. J'espère que la direction pourra prendre des mesures à son sujet et lui rappeler les bases du service hôtelier.

FFrances PhyleexiaThe checking-in was swift and efficient, thank you front desk staff of the day. :) We managed to check in a little after 2pm.
We were given a room at the corner (usually i don't prefer corner room but only found out after we went up).
First impression of the room - Room look clean and neat, but the odor from the room was not pleasant at all, I kept wondering is it because of our slippers? So i put all our slippers in the bathroom. When i lied on the bed, i found 2 short hair stucked at the pillow case. That's not the worst, the pillow, the blankets smells like 'wet-dog', so now i know where that unpleasant smell came from. It was cause the of the not fully dried cases and blankets! I was kinda angry, but i endured since it was only for a night.
Air-con was pleasantly cold, bathroom fully equipped, but they forgot to put toothbrushes but they sent over upon requested.
What i like on that floor was there wasn't mineral water bottles given like the previous room we stayed before at same hotel, instead they provided a Coway water dispenser and i love that as we can refill our own water bottles at anytime we stay there.
The hairdryer was not functioning after one use. Maybe because the coil got too hot at the first use.
The room overall is a very old room, it gives me the vibe of the old Santubong Resorts Hotel's room. Old wood, Old bedframe, Old chairs and table.
My suggestion would be to change the flooring to SPC Vinyl flooring, put some bright decoration like modern arts on the wall because it kinda look gloomy at scary at night. Hotel fridge is always not cold, i dunno why. And do remember to place the phone instruction and food menu because we have none of that, i was winging it when calling for toothbrush, luckily i got the number right.
Anyhow, there's Watson below the hotel to buy toiletries, if you want to; and Sugarbun restaurant to fill your belly, if you don't wanna order from the hotel.
Despite the old room i got, i would still stay in Hotel Simanggang for my next visit.

The room itself was clean and comfortable. No complaints.
Breakfast the choice was very limited. But what they had was pretty tasty. No coffee machine, sadly.
Overal very adequate for the price they charge.
