Great location, excellent service, and a lovely breakfast! The room was very clean and tidy, and the staff at breakfast were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was included in the price, which made the stay even better value. There is a huge open field and a very clean river right next to the hotel. You can see people practising rowing, and walking along both sides of the river is really relaxing. There are also mallards and swans nearby, and you can buy special swan food from the hotel bar to feed them. I originally chose this place because the town is close to Cambridge and the price was reasonable, but I ended up really enjoying the town itself. With such a beautiful location, good service, and affordable price, this hotel is definitely great value for money.

Very nice room and good facilities. We used the gym and sauna during the evening at adults only time (7-10pm). The Hotel is near the bus station and our room had good views. Staff is friendly and let us look around including breakfast services to let us decide if we wanted it or not. Very new kitchen with a cute recipe book included!

這個是一家很老的酒店，酒店有點老舊，但勝在房間很大，酒店還是不錯的，唯獨缺點是二樓沒有電梯，不過整體入住體驗還是不錯，家庭出遊的不二選擇，設施衞生也很不錯！

C'est très proche de l'Université de Cambridge, l'hôtel est très grand, le service est très bon, c'est un hôtel anglais très classique. C'est particulièrement beau que le dîner du restaurant soit délicieux, les jambes de la chaussure sont vraiment très délicieux, une expérience très bonne, un rapport qualité prix très élevé.

Nettes, modernes Hotel. Man muss allerdings aufpassen, zu welcher Seite man sein Zimmer hat, da eine Seite direkt am Bahnsteig liegt und Tag und Nacht dort Züge fahren.

My stay at Novotel Cambridge was extremely disappointing due to serious cleanliness issues. Upon checking into Room 205, I discovered visible blood stains on the duvet. This is not a minor oversight — it is a basic hygiene failure. Clean bedding is the absolute minimum standard any guest should expect. Finding blood stains immediately raised concerns about the room being properly cleaned and inspected. I reported the issue and was informed that the bedding had been cleaned again. However, when I returned to check, the stains were still there. This was both frustrating and alarming, as it suggested a lack of proper quality control within housekeeping. Only after escalating the matter was it properly addressed. Charlotte, the manager, eventually upgraded us to an executive room and provided complimentary breakfast, which I appreciate. However, this does not change the fact that the initial room condition was unacceptable and should never have happened in the first place. An upgrade is a service recovery gesture — it does not erase the hygiene concern or the distress caused at the start of our stay. I hope the hotel seriously reviews its cleaning procedures and room inspection standards to prevent future guests from experiencing the same issue. Unfortunately, based on cleanliness alone, I would not rate this stay highly.

Il a été réservé une chambre double avec un espace suffisant pour 2 d'entre nous et une zone séparée avec petits bureaux et chaises si nécessaire. Les chambres étaient confortables et la chambre était chaude (une fois que je me suis montré comment activer le chauffage) Malheureusement, la salle de bain était très froide, la chaudière de l'hôtel avait besoin de réparer, de sorte que le radiateur n'était pas en service. L'hôtel est très bien daté et a besoin d'une mise à niveau qui est sur la planification. Le personnel était super amical et utile, surtout quand je me suis rendu compte que j'avais laissé mon propre coucher sur le lit. Ils l'ont suivi et un ami m'a rassemblé le lendemain. Restez certainement vieille quand la prochaine dans la zone.

Despite the slightly tired looking exterior, this is an excellent choice if you want a hotel in Cambridge, with parking, and walking distance to the city centre. Our room was on the ground floor but facing the rear and was very peaceful. The room is quite small but everything worked, it was exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the shower water pressure was fantastic. Breakfast, included in our package, was very very good. Plenty of choice and the cooked food was served on piping hot plates. Best of all, Jackie and Jan, the two wonderful ladies who served us. Actually they did more than serve, they made our breakfast memorable and warm. I hope these two ladies are well regarded by the hotel management, as we really want to return based upon their personal and very welcoming characters. Lovely, lovely ladies. In case you didn’t realise, we thoroughly recommend this hotel.
