💯💯💯 recommend Lindartun Guesthouse! Stayed here for 1 night on 1st October 2024 after our drive to Highlands and got here when it was already dark but i loved the drive to the junction from the main road to the guesthouse. It was pretty dark around the area which we thought we could be lucky for aurora sightings but it was cloudy. Luckily, I asked the owner when was the last aurora sighting at the guesthouse and she immediately opened her laptop and that’s when I found put there’s aurora forecast website in Iceland. She was the one that let us know there’s higher chance to spot aurora on the upcoming friday due to clear sky. Oh btw, for our check-in process, when I first arrived and entered the guesthouse, please take off your shoes by the entrance, and go to reception area infront of the kitchen and take the house phone to call the owner. We booked room no. 5 which cones with a sofa bed and the long toom was so cute and cozy. This is the cutest guesthouse room design among all 13 accoms across the country during our trip. I really loved it a lot as the room was long and spacious. The common dining area was really nice and big which I didn’t really spend time here. But I used the kitchen the next morning to boil hot water and make myself my hot chocolate and instant mushroom soup. Worth my money. Will book again if I visit Iceland again next time! Les installations de la chambre sont très bonnes dans tous les aspects. Je peux être stationné à la porte de la petite maison. Je reste deux jours. Je vais envoyer un courrier à l'hôtel pour changer de toiles et envoyer un café, mais je n'ai pas répondu ni envoyé.

L'hôtel se trouve au cœur de Vik, après votre circuit du Cercle d'Or. Situé en pleine campagne, c'est un hôtel isolé où vous trouverez hébergement et repas ; il n'y a rien d'autre aux alentours. Idéal pour un séjour paisible et ressourçant.

Très proche et à pied de la chute d'eau de Skogafoss.  Le petit déjeuner était très bon. La chambre est date, pas de réfrigérateur mais ils offrent gratuitement du café/tè (machine) qui est juste à l'extérieur des chambres. L'eau s'étoffe comme le soufre, mais c'est parce que l'eau géothermique qu'elles utilisent.

Le bon: - Le petit déjeuner était très bon ! - La chambre et le lit étaient chauds. - la douche d'eau chaude fonctionne presque instantanément. - Netflix et Amazon Prime sont disponibles sur la télévision. On peut améliorer : - porte de la délire de toilette émettant un bruit de cris fort qui était annoncé. - mauvaise isolation sonore entre les sols, nous sommes restés sur le sol et nous avons pu entendre bouger toute la nuit. Nous avons eu un retour à l'hôtel, mais nous avons juste reçu un visage « Je ne peux rien faire de lui » et un cran d'épaule qui a clairement indiqué qu'ils n'avaient pas l'intention de faire rien de lui. - le téléphone dans la chambre n'était pas en service, le personnel a dû le rebooter car ils ont dit qu'il s'agissait d'une question commune. - Le vent d'air dans la salle de bains s'est arrêté après un moment, il a été dit de le désactiver et de le remettre en marche. - nous avons vérifié à la réception en même temps que d'autres couples, nous avons entendu qu'ils avaient une salle supplémentaire de mise à niveau de la salle standard (comme nous). Nous avons demandé si nous devions être améliorés aussi, le personnel nous a juste dit que cela dépendait du montant que nous avons payé pour la chambre. Total: Le prix de la chambre était sur le haut côté et beaucoup était attendu mais la condition de la chambre et service étaient sous livraison.

fully equipped kitchen for all your cooking needs. the room is spacious and clean. you get a good sized living room and balcony. TV has netflix which we watched while waiting for the northern lights. the place is dark enough, away from city lights to see the lights with your eyes and cameras. super pleasant stay, easy check in and out. will highly recommend here!

We have a 1 night stay at Midgard Camp during our 9 days road trip in Iceland. It is our 2nd stop hotel of our trip. Though the room are not big, but it is comfortable, good and cosy enough for all. The family rooms comes with 1 double bed plus 1 bunk bed enough for all 4 of us. The whole place is very vibrant, friendly staff, nicely decorated and energetic yet peaceful and quiet for individual enjoyment. The whole place is very well maintained and It is very clean even the common toilet as I bathe there to avoid waiting for our private toilet to save some time. The common kitchen is for all guests and is well equipped. We cooked our hot meal as well as breakfast there. We can also enjoy the complementary coffee/tea from the hotel paid breakfast. Overall, We enjoy our stay there even though it is just 1 night. The location is easily found with the GPS, you wouldn't miss it. Highly recommended this place. Also, really appreciate the friendly staff giving us a round tour of the place explaining where are the common toilet, hot bathe tub, dryer for our swim wear should we use the hot bathe tub and sauna. This is indeed exceed our expectation actually. 10/10!

Las cabañas están muy bien Como punto negativo veo la manera de hacer el check in. Tienes que llamar a un número de teléfono y que te digan el número de cabaña y la contraseña de entrada Quitando eso, el sitio la verdad es que está genial!

We had a fantastic stay at North Star Cottages. The cottage was clean and well appointed. We arrived to a warm, snug cabin after a day of walking in the rain, and it had everything we needed for a short one night stay. We were a family of four and we brought food to prepare. The kitchen had everything to cook, eat, and wash up. Beds were comfy and the shower was hot. Really great place.
