It is very close to JR Niigata station. The staff handled check-in with hospitality. The facilities were maintained well with neatness and cleanliness. Although I booked the smallest room, the room still has enough space for opening the luggage fully.

It is a hotel with history. The maintenance and service is good. Breakfast and dinner buffet are good too. The pick up service from the station can be arranged immediately upon arrival, highly appreciated. The outdoor hot spring is good.

Nous ne pouvons pas porter nos propres chaussures une fois que nous entrerons dans le hall.
Il est très inconfortable de marcher aux pieds de bar dans les restaurants, peu importe combien ils gardent les sols propres, il y aura des décharges alimentaires et des surfaces oléagineuses.
Le petit déjeuner et le dîner sont excellents, il suffit de plus de variété pour les invités qui séjournent plus de 3 jours.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour ! La chambre et les équipements étaient à notre entière satisfaction. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la gentillesse et la prévenance du personnel, toujours souriant. Après notre départ, j’ai demandé s’il était possible de laisser mes bagages à la consigne pour une nuit, et le personnel a immédiatement pris note de notre demande. Un bar à saké est également disponible dans le hall, où l’on peut déguster une variété de sakés en achetant des jetons à la réception. Nous recommandons vivement cet hôtel !

This is a nice hotel with a good location and a convenient shuttle service. The ski garden is very enjoyable for both children and adults. We stayed in a Japanese-style room with a beautiful view, which made the stay even more pleasant.
However, the checkout time feels too early at 10:00 AM, especially considering that check-in is only available from 3:00 PM.
Another issue was the futon bed setup. The hotel schedules it at 6:00 PM, but I requested to move it just one hour earlier to 5:00 PM because my child wanted to rest. Unfortunately, the hotel could not accommodate this request. I don’t quite understand why such a simple service request could not be fulfilled.
Breakfast was fairly good, although the variety of options was somewhat limited.

Cet hôtel, un peu vieillot, présente une décoration légèrement démodée. Il se situe à une extrémité du pont Bandai, d'où l'on accède à pied au quartier commerçant Isetan. Le quartier environnant est un secteur résidentiel calme et relativement isolé. Le quartier des geishas de Furumachi est à une dizaine de minutes à pied. Bien que peu animé, il abrite quelques restaurants chics comme Kujira Sushi et Korin Nabe Chaya, mais la réservation est indispensable.
J'y ai séjourné trois jours et le petit-déjeuner est resté inchangé. L'une de ses particularités est la possibilité de choisir entre deux types de riz, ou un petit bol de chaque, accompagnés de soupe miso, de riz au curry ou de porridge.

Le centre de l'hôtel est très bienvenu, avec un matcha et un snack complimentaires. A l'entrée, il y a même un joli jeu de Gachapon dans lequel vous pourriez gagner l'un de leurs produits Niigata/Yuzawa spécial!
La chambre était propre et spacieuse avec un lit confortable futon. Les bains publics étaient si gentils et bien entretenus. Si vous n'avez pas réservé leur petit déjeuner/séjour spécial, vous pouvez toujours dire avec 2 jours d'ordre avancé sur le bureau frontal. Absolument rester ici encore si jamais dans la zone 🫶🏼

この値段のまま続けて欲しいですね！
駐車場は150cm以下の車なら提携がありますし、コインパーキングも周りに沢山あるので割と安心です。
長岡に行った際はまた泊まろうかなと思いました。

Highly recommended. Clean, comfortable, type c, fast lightning cable was provided…nice view from the room. Easily accessible by public transport since the location is next to Niigata station (bus, train, taxi, shinkansen) next to cocola mall (inside got 3 coins, eateries, pharmacy, coffee shop, famous udon shop, xebion sports, diors etc), lawson, family mart, 7e.. Walking distance to Donki, Isetan…
just name it!

Best location, which is near to Niigata JR Train station (with lots of restaurants, cafes, supermarkets & convi stores). Room is clean & spacious with affortable price, will conside to stay at the same hotel if return to Niigata again.

IInvitéThe hotel itself was nice, but the staff at the ski resort was horrible, the rentals are also not well maintained. The boards are not waxed, which makes it difficult to work with as there are a lot of flat routes which are difficult to avoid (Pony and village road were the flattest slope Ive ever seen in my life, I had to unstrap and walk and the board just wouldn't move). Ski resort staff were unfriendly and the rental staff was the worst, there was a lady there that was cold and rude. The only reason why the rental shop is surviving is probably because the equipments are salomon branded and that there is no other option. I would visit again but only because the routes are fun, Myoko long run was the best, but I would never want to rent from the shop again.
The food was very very good. For breakfast, you could choose from western or Japanese buffet. Western buffet is highly recommended, the omelette was the best ive eaten in my life and there was a diy risotto which was great as well. For dinner, there were 4 options, either buffet, steak, Japanese or shabushabu. All requiring reservations which is tough if you are checking in the evening as some might not be available. Highly recommend the steak, the food was good and the staff were amazing. Japanese was the hardest to get a reservation for but the food was quite underwhelming. The room was clean and ski lockers are also provided but it's tiny and can barely fit 2 boards. But I wish that in the toilet in the common area, you can adjust the tap temperature as the water is freezing cold.
Amenities wise, bottled water are provided daily, also, yukata was provided but you can only wear them to the onsen which was extremely troublesome as I had to change multiple times a day.
The hotel provides shuttle bus services to and fro jyoetsumyoko station which was easy to book. The bus drivers were also friendly and helped out with the luggage.
In summary, for a 5 stars hotel, it didn't live up to expectations, ski resort and rental staffs were unwilling to help and unfriendly. Also, some of the staffs could not speak Japanese which is puzzling for a hotel in Japan. If not for the amazing snow and slopes I would never come back.

Cependant, la nourriture était décevante. On m'avait conseillé d'acheter du riz de Niigata, en particulier celui de l'île de Sado, réputé délicieux, mais il était immangeable. Peut-être était-il mal cuit ? Il avait pourtant l'air appétissant. Le riz du restaurant du coin était, en revanche, excellent.
À 50 000 yens par personne pendant les vacances d'Obon, c'était une déception.

IInvitéThe hotel is atmosphere with a nice blend of the old and new. It is located not too far from Uonuma no Sato and have a complimentary shuttle service to and fro Hatago Isen opposite Echigo Yuzawa Station. The room is big and there is nice heated table area. The bathroom is nice but as with traditional lodgings such as this, it can be pretty cold especially at the bathroom area in winter.
Dinner was served in a bento format at our room. I was a little disappointed that it is a not a proper sit-down meal at the main dining area instead. The bento includes two generously sized onigiri, appetizers, and four main items including a meat patty, grilled fish and braised wagyu.
The onsen bath is also quite nice and loved the bath with the snowy landscaped garden.
Service is generally good and there are snacks and drinks available at the lounge for guests. In the evening, there is also sake and umeshu available for guests.

IInvitéI’m giving my honest opinion. This is my first unsatisfied review for a hotel room. I was very disappointed by the room for the price I paid. I paid more for this room than what I paid for luxury upscaled room near Tokyo Disney. The photos online were very deceiving. When I entered my room, it was gross, i cringed, and my toes curled. I didn’t want to put my belongings down. The carpet was old and disgusting. The pull out couch bed was gross. There were stains on the couch back rest and the mattress. The sheet for the mattress was too small it didn’t cover the stained mattress. The beds were hard and didn’t feel clean. The shower curtain had a bad odor. The room was very dated. Since this hotel is pretty secluded and other hotels were booked we had to make do. I’m glad we only stayed one night. On a better note, the staff were very friendly and service was great. Location for skiing was amazing, and the free shuttle bus was fabulous. Naeba Prince Hotel really need to do better with their rooms. I was looking forward to bringing my entire family of 14 to stay a few nights next year, but after seeing the rooms, I will not stay here again unless they renovate their rooms which are in dire need of upgrades.

CCHIN HUA 55View from the hotel is really nice as you see the alps covered in snow during winter. Location is great too, it is just 5mins from echigo yuzawa station. However, i wish that their room heater can be stronger, other than that, it is a perfect stay for that budget.

IInvitéLa chambre est assez petite, mais elle est très proche de l'hôtel, à environ deux minutes en escalator de la gare. Le petit-déjeuner est inclus, ce qui convient parfaitement à ceux qui n'y sont pas sensibles. Bien qu'il n'y ait pas de source thermale, un bain thermal se trouve à environ trois minutes à pied ; l'entrée coûte environ 500 yens et il ouvre à 7 h. Je le recommande vivement.

SSze Yu FungMy wife and I visited this onsen resort in 2023 and we loved it. My wife especially likes the many onsens they have. We have always wanted to come here again and finally did after 3 years. Like three years ago, the room and facilities are very clean and well maintained everything just as they were. One thing did change and we are quite upset about it, is that the staff is not as enthusiastic as they were (there are some familiar faces, many new ones). I still recommend this place to everyone, Futaba is still the best compared to the other two onsen resorts we’ve visited in between. Hope they can figure out some way to motivate the staff and offer a better experience to guests.

DDaLa chambre est grande, c'est très bien, mais c'est très malheureusement que le sol est très loin, donc le fond est devenu bichobicho. Et, les installations de confort sont mauvaises, mais d'autres sont satisfaisantes.
