L'état général est bon ; tout a répondu à mes attentes pour une chambre d'hôtel standard.
Il y a cependant une chose qui ne me satisfait pas : j'ai réservé une chambre pour trois adultes, mais les équipements fournis ne sont que pour deux personnes (deux paires de chaussons, deux brosses à dents, deux serviettes, etc.). Il n'y a pas de numéro de téléphone pour appeler la réception, je suis donc descendu personnellement pour les informer de la situation. Le personnel a promis d'envoyer les objets manquants dans notre chambre plus tard, mais personne n'est venu du tout.

Nous avons séjourné dans une chambre triple rénovée avec un lit king size, un lit simple. La chambre était propre. Fenêtre vue sur la ville au 10e étage. Bon petit déjeuner. Riz frit, mee goreng roti prata. Poulet au curry, etc. Food ctr avec de nombreux stands locaux juste en face de l'hôtel. 10 minutes à pied du centre commercial KSL. Accueil sympathique. L'enregistrement anticipé paie 50,00 ringgits RM.

amazing view from the hotel room from the 29th floor, could stay there the whole night just to chill and appreciate the view. the location of the hotel is very convenient as well, being walking distance to CIQ and JB Sentral, but the walk over to the hotel from city square mall and komtar might be hard to find at first, and Google Maps shows the long way around which is inaccurate.

The stay was very comfortable and pleasant. The room was clean, tidy, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location is convenient and easy to access. Highly recommended and would definitely stay here again

This Hotel just renovated and I think Swing and Pillows take over this hotel and make it looks clean and good. At this very good price point for budget hotel (we got it around Rm100/night), I think it is very good. Most importantly is clean and the bed is comfortable. They provide a water dispenser outside the room which is much better compare to kettle that normally not everyone dare to use. Aircon is working well too. You also need access card to enter from outside, and for the room. The mamak stall opposite (Habib) has very good foods too. Photos taken during checkout.

Service staff at recep for check-in is friendly and polite. Check in was fast.
For room wise, its spacious.
Noticed several pointers:
- TV channels will go missing, need to ownself re-scan to search for channels
- Toilet basin is slightly choked, water in basin took awhile to clear
- Shower head is mouldy
- Wardrobe has no light
Overall for short stay is fine. Parking is easy.

Highly recommended, especially if your priorities are convenience and a clean, comfortable environment. Its prime location directly opposite key shopping malls and near the CIQ makes it an ideal base for shopping trips or short cross-border stays.

C'est la deuxième fois que nous séjournons au Fives car nous avons eu une excellente expérience lors de notre premier séjour !
La suite familiale est tellement spacieuse !
Le nombre maximum de personnes pouvant séjourner est de 4. Nous pensions au départ qu'il n'y aurait qu'une seule salle de bain et une seule climatisation. Mais l'agencement ressemble davantage à une chambre double et une chambre king-size combinées.
Bien qu'il n'y ait qu'un seul téléviseur, cela ne nous dérange pas.
Le personnel est toujours sympathique et le parking est gratuit !

Hotel location is excellent, with nearby food places, massage spa and entertainment. Check in was prompt and hassle free. The king room we booked is very spacious and generally clean.There is also alkaline hot and normal water temperature available in the room for guests to utilise! Wish there were more coffee sachets available for guests to enjoy. Breakfast spread has a lot of variety and kids and adults alike will enjoy!

Very clean hotel with air con and water heater. Rooms have in built hairdryer inside toilet too. Nice bed and comfortable place. Provide only soap and one tiny shampoo. No toothbrush so remember to bring your own. Nice greenery ambiance there. Friendly and helpful hotel staff everywhere you go. There’s lifts too to get to the rooms. Overall a comfortable stay and pleasant experience there. Thank you Tune Hotel 😄😄😄

TTezza5130We weren't planning on staying overnight in JB but life happens and we needed a room for 2 nights. Trip.com came through for us and when we got to this hotel, the staff at Doubletree, especially ROZLIN and MOHAR from their Careline department, were SUPER helpful and kind. Their level of care for their guests was truly impressive and it was evident to us that this is part of their culture and we extended our stay for a 3rd night as a result. Doubletree by Hilton Johor Bahru is now our top choice for JB!

TteeheeheeIt's about a 20-30min car ride away from checkpoint. When I stepped into the place to check-in at night, it looked really big and grand.
Very peaceful location with nothing much around - good to chill and relax. Feels like the equivalent of sentosa cove area in SG.
Room is big and generally well maintained. There's a few ants in the kitchenette so that part needs improvement. Bed is super comfy.
Bfast buffet included. There's a variety of food but tastewise it's decent, some hit and misses.
Gym is well-equipped, pool is partially sheltered and clean - so rain or shine it's all good.
Our package comes with one time free lounge usage from 10am to 5pm but there was nothing much. I will not pay extra for it. There was no one manning the place. The small lounge area comes with coffee machine, a few snacks that went stale, and bottled fruit juice that tasted very artificial.
Apart from above, all staffs we encountered were great and polite. Overall, great place to stay in, value-for-money.

PPollyanna PoonOverall experience was good. Quiet ambience. A very convenient location as we took a direct bus from Boon Lay to Aeon Mall and the hotel was just a 5 mins walk. Besides Aeon Mall, there also various eateries within walking distance. Our family would definitely consider staying at this hotel in the future.

HHany YnsFor Muslim families, it’s reassuring to know that St. Giles provides bidets in the toilets. I stayed in the Urban King Room, and this is honestly a hotel I keep coming back to—I’ve stayed here three times now. Whenever I’m in JB, especially with babies, this is my go-to hotel because it’s extremely convenient and the facilities are excellent. The modern design is another big plus.
For breakfast, I’d strongly recommend going early at 7am. The place fills up very quickly, and by 8am there’s already a queue forming. That said, the staff at Causeway Café are very efficient at managing the crowd kudos to them.
We also tried the dinner buffet at Causeway Café, and at RM118, it definitely did not disappoint. I’m not sure when in-room dining was introduced, but we ordered the Hokkien mee and nasi goreng, and both were really good. We hope they continue with this in room dining!!
I’ll definitely keep coming back!

Les clients potentiels devraient cependant être conscients que le principal domaine d'amélioration est le service de petit déjeuner, les options offertes étant très limitées dans la variété et la sélection.

NNHTDSgoeswhereNous avons eu un total de 9 pach (4 adultes, 5 enfants) et nous avons pris l'appartement de 4 chambres. 4 chambres, 3 salles de bains. Nous avons l'un au 45ème étage. Si c ur craint des hauteurs comme moi, la chambre que nous avons est devant la cause. Alors il n'était pas si mauvais. L'appartement est propre et se sent très maison. Le seul côté comme d'habitude est la connexion Internet bcos son très proche sg, de sorte que ur Internet sera à la fois avec connexion sg. TV a youtube et netflix. Mais pas de canaux locaux. Les enfants n'ont pas voulu rentrer chez eux.

RRenny RahmanWe stayed here on the day of my son’s 4th birthday. We were told that our room would take an extra 30 minutes for birthday decorations, but we were taken aback that the towel decorations alone took 30 minutes to set up. We also requested connecting rooms, but since we had booked king rooms, they were unable to change one of our king rooms to a twin and told us to rebook.
However, the rooms are big, spacious, and clean. They come with a sofa that can fit an adult to rest on. The pool and the small playground next to it were great for keeping our kids entertained.
The breakfast spread was good, with a lot of choices. Location-wise, it is very good. There were supermarkets, plenty of food options (many outside the hotel), and even a laundromat.

The bad:
Host expect you to contact them on the day else no sound no pic.
Sent a series of pictures and videos, shock to see they asked for deposit and my passport photo as part of their requirements. I’m not comfortable with that.
Drivers beware: This unit located at B1-2 is damn troublesome. I had to park outside the gantry and walked all the way to the end of the building (approx 200m one way) to get the card. The guard weren’t familiar with such arrangement had to call another guard over to assist in order to let me into the mailroom to retrieve the access card.
After that had to walk all the way back again to the entrance. When I drove to the gantry, the access card didn’t work, guard had to come over again to assist. End up found out it’s because the previous user did not “tap out” so we can’t “tap in”.
The wayfinding in the carpark is worse ever. Don’t know where to go up, don’t know where to exit. Turn round and round the entire carpark to find and realised it’s in the middle of nowhere.
Now for the accommodation itself, it’s decent. Towels were provided. No toothbrush provided but 8 combs provided instead (pic). The cups were damn disgusting (pic).
Overall will not return as the carpark and checkin experience was really a huge turnoff.

The front desk staff, Kestari, and manager, Lawrence, tried their best to put all 3 rooms we booked on the same floor as well as 2 out of 3 as connecting rooms. We are so thankful that they managed to get all of us on the same floor by upgrading our rooms, got us connecting rooms and even gave us complementary breakfast for all! What a wonderful and sweet thought as we checked in for my son's 4th birthday! Their breakfast spread is so, so good! Must get breakfast as part of your stay. The swimming pool is the highlight of our trip. All our kids aged 10 to 2 years old, enjoyed themselves! The gym and sauna look good! Thank you to the team especially the two who helped us. (Apologies if wrong spelling)
