L’hôtel est très bien situé. Le petit-déjeuner est malheureusement très minimaliste, avec peu de variété dans les plats typiques philippins. J’ai eu des fourmis dans ma chambre et j’ai dû demander trois fois à la direction d’intervenir ; ce n’est qu’au bout du troisième jour qu’ils ont mis du produit, heureusement, sinon cela aurait été insupportable. Le rapport qualité-prix reste excellent. Sachez toutefois qu’il n’y a pas de coffre-fort dans les chambres, mais nous n’avons eu aucun souci de sécurité. Les prix au sein de l’hôtel sont très raisonnables et nous avons pu louer des motos sur place sans aucun problème. Globalement, tout s’est bien passé.

My only suggestion would be to add more menu options, as the resort is quite far from restaurants and convenience stores. Having a wider selection would be especially helpful for guests staying several days. The staff were all friendly, accommodating, and approachable. Kaya ils offrent également un petit déjeuner gratuit kasi wala ka nga naman makakainan sa labas na malapit. 6:40am commence ng petit déjeuner nila tas yung babaeng assistant wala man lang urgency na ihanda agad at 7am pa magsisimola magluto. Lol. La pire partie est la jung pinapatay nila jung briseur ng électricité kapag tanghali (kasi inaassume nila na walang tao sa room) kaya minsan sobrang init kapag nagstay ka sa don. Donc, mon pa sila tanungin kung brownout ba ou pinatay lang nila breaker tas tsaka nila bubuksan ulit. Alors sa gabi sinasardo nila yung main valve ng tubig kesio nakakalimutan daw ng guest na nakabukas daw yung gripo. La valve principale de la valve est aussi la lagi peut imposer la tubig para incase na patayin nila yung tubig eh makalig ka pa rhin. Je suggère de faire un dépôt de 100 pesos que le wag kao na umasa na mababalik. Depuis tous les vols de départ sa Siargao ay Umaga et arrivée pa sila environ 5am alors yung principale maison est nakalock donc je suppose yung 100pesos na kinolect est parang payment na rin sa key duplication so if ever na matap din kayo sa gaung situation eh wag niyo ng Iwan Sa room Yung susi at Itapon Niyo Nalang.

I am happy to recommend Fat Lips Surf Lodge as a great place to stay in Siargao. The location is excellent—situated along Tourism Road in General Luna and conveniently close to popular spots such as AFAM Bridge (Catangnan Bridge), Catangnan BBQ, Shaka Café, and Cloud 9. It is also within easy reach of many of Siargao’s well-known restaurants, cafés, and tourist attractions. The place itself is cozy, aesthetic, and surrounded by lush greenery, creating a relaxing tropical atmosphere. The rooms are air-conditioned, and I was especially impressed by how clean and fresh the sheets and linens were. Having a private balcony overlooking the greenery was a wonderful bonus. Everything about the stay was smooth, hassle-free, and well-organized. Guests also have access to a shared kitchen, which is very convenient if you prefer to prepare or cook your own meals. One thoughtful touch that stood out was that they provide a coffee press along with freshly ground coffee beans for guests to enjoy—perfect for starting the day in a peaceful setting. Most importantly, the host was incredibly helpful, accommodating, and responsive throughout my stay, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. Overall, Fat Lips Surf Lodge offers great value, comfort, convenience, and a welcoming atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Siargao.

However, there were several issues that affected our stay. The room was not properly cleaned and had a lot of dust. The complimentary toiletries were not provided upon check-in, and the shower drain was clogged, causing water to accumulate in the bathroom. The water supply appeared to come from a deep well and had an unpleasant smell. I also found it unusual that the pillows were covered with bed sheets instead of proper pillowcases. The most disappointing experience happened at 1:30 AM, when the receptionist called our room and woke us up to ask if they could borrow our air conditioner remote. We were told that three other guests had complained because they didn’t have air conditioner remotes, and the staff said they only had one remote available. Waking sleeping guests in the middle of the night to solve an internal hotel issue is highly unprofessional and significantly disrupted our rest. Overall, while the room size, affordability, and free breakfast were positives, the cleanliness, maintenance, and service need major improvement. I hope the management addresses these issues to provide a better experience for future guests.

J'ai réservé l'hôtel pour mon mari pour une formation de bureau, il aime presque tout ce que c'est juste que l'ascenseur ne fonctionne pas pour une raison raisonnable en raison d'une catastrophe récente mais l'hôtel n'échoue jamais à satisfaire ses clients, Je pense que vous avez déjà réservé 10 fois. Le centre est juste un pas de loin.

Находится в самом центре. Комната простая с удобствами( туалет душ в номере). Все просто и чисто. Если вы хотите тишины , то ее не будет. На первом этаже бар, где поют до 12:00 ночи. Но меня это не напрягало. Очень классная хозяйка Фили, радушная, с теплом ко мне относилась. Кормила, дарила маленькие презенты. Несколько раз возила меня на пляжи.

I chose this hostel based on YouTube recommendation. Location is perfect, very close to Cloud 9 and Jacking horse surf shop (where i took surfing classes). It's not very noisy area, quite secluded from nearby shops and hotels. Which is perfect. Carlos at the reception was very very helpful and friendly. I took all the recommendations on restaurants, shops, laundry places. You can also rent a bike from the hotel. Besides there is a good community, they organize pizza nights, outings together, which is super fun if u are travelling alone and want to make friends. People that stay in this hostel are mostly Europeans. I did not have issues with sleeping in a room, everyone was respectful and clean. Bed has a curtain for privacy, light, locker and quite enough space. Showers are clean and i was lucky with hot showers. Overall, very good experience and def would come back again.
