I recently stayed at the Canmore Inn & Suites on Bow Valley Trail. While the property itself has potential and offers a convenient base for exploring the Rockies, my experience was significantly dampened by a factor I wasn't prepared for: a major local hockey tournament. The ”Tournament” Factor I was unaware upon booking that my stay coincided with a Canmore hockey tournament for U11 and U13 divisions. To say these teams ”took over the hotel” would be an understatement. The volume of children was overwhelming. This translated to: The Pool Area: Practically unusable for other guests; it was packed to capacity with kids from morning until night. Common Areas: Hallways and the lobby were very loud and, at times, felt uncontrollable. Lack of Supervision: There was a noticeable lack of adult/parental supervision in the public spaces, leading to a chaotic atmosphere that isn't ideal if you're looking for a relaxing mountain getaway. Staff and Noise Management To the hotel’s credit, the noise did mostly settle down by 10:30 PM. I spoke with the front desk, and they mentioned we could issue formal noise complaints if needed. However, it felt like a losing battle given the sheer volume of groups. The staff are clearly used to this, as these local tournaments bring in consistent bookings for the hotel. While the team was polite, they seemed stretched thin by the high occupancy and the energy of the young athletes. The Room and Amenities Pros: The location is excellent—close to downtown and Highway 1. The rooms are generally spacious, and the mountain views from the upper floors are a highlight. Cons: The property is showing its age. Some fixtures felt dated, and the cleanliness in the high-traffic common areas suffered due to the heavy foot traffic during the tournament. Final Verdict The simpler solution here is a matter of timing. If you aren't in town to participate in or spectate a tournament, check the local sports calendar before booking. If a U11/U13 tournament is on, I would recommend staying elsewhere. If you are here for the hockey, this is clearly the ”hub,” but for the average traveler, the lack of peace and quiet makes it hard to justify the price point during these peak weekends.

The room was well-equipped with amenities, including a microwave, refrigerator, and a large flat-screen TV. I particularly appreciated the free Wi-Fi, which was reliable and fast—perfect for catching up on work and staying connected. One of the highlights of my stay was the complimentary breakfast. The buffet offered a wide variety of options, including scrambled eggs, bacon, fresh fruits, yogurt, and a selection of pastries. There was also a pancake machine, which was a fun touch! The dining area was clean and spacious, allowing me to enjoy my meal in a relaxed environment. The hotel’s location is excellent, especially for travelers using the airport. It’s just a short drive away, and the hotel offers a shuttle service, which is very convenient. I took advantage of this service, and it was prompt and efficient, making my arrival and departure stress-free. Additionally, I had the chance to use the fitness center during my stay. It was well-equipped with modern machines and weights, and it was nice to have that option to maintain my workout routine while traveling. Overall, my stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Edmonton International Airport was highly satisfactory. The combination of friendly service, comfortable accommodations, and convenient amenities made it a great choice for both business and leisure travelers. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a reliable place to stay near the airport. I look forward to staying here again during my next visit to Edmonton!

Il prend environ 20 minutes à Uber de l'aéroport d'Edmonton. Le coût était d'environ 33 $. Il y a également un restaurant coréen à proximité, mais pas une distance de marche .... Tous les horaires ont été réglés par Uber. Le son de la climatisation dans la chambre .... Il était si grand ... Je me suis désactivé et je me suis couché quand je dormais.

Expérience incroyable. L'hôtel offre non seulement d'excellentes prestations, mais il se montre également très attentif à vos demandes, dans la mesure du possible. J'ai particulièrement apprécié l'accès aux salles affaires, au salon et au restaurant. Le service de navette aéroport gratuit est un vrai plus et facilite grandement les déplacements. J'ai été très touché par l'accueil, la patience et la disponibilité du personnel de la réception.

Charmante petite auberge. La chambre est assez spacieuse et dispose d'une cuisine. Elle est généralement propre. Le personnel de la réception est accueillant et très serviable : ils nous ont apporté des serviettes et du shampoing supplémentaires lorsque nous avons appelé. L'hôtel est situé dans la ville de Jasper, tout près d'un restaurant juste en face et des commerces environnants. J'ai passé un agréable séjour.

Le personnel de cet hôtel était très aimable et professionnel. Les services étaient excellents aussi. Il dispose d'une bonne position et de bonne proximité avec le réseau de transport local
