Was a convenient location and check in was easy. However, there was difficulty with the room keys. I entered the room left my purse and one key in the room went out to my car for luggage - entered at the rear door using the key. However, the key failed to work for my room. Had to go to the desk and have a new set of keys made. This happened again the next day as well, however, that time the on call clerk said it frequently happens when using the rear door. If they know it happens why not fix it or warn the client in advance. This was very stressful. The room itself was extremely disappointing. It was supposed to sleep 3 adults yet it contained only a queen size bed and a window ledge. No couch, roll away nothing. The sitting area was non existent. Your options were the bed, the window ledge or a straight back wood desk chair. Not at all comfortable. The television was smaller than my computer monitor definately not more than a 24”. Even though all advertisements stated a refrigerator in the room there was not one. Which meant I was unable to keep any cold drinks in my room. The breakfast was an even bigger joke - cold hard boiled eggs were available one day, cold cereal, very limited fruit if you were not there early there was none it was not refilled. Donuts were prepackaged and old. Was not anything available that was at all desirable. I knew there was not a pool or exercise room which I did not expect however, for 100 a night in Delphos, OH I expected more. I had a handicapped room as I have 2 artificial knees and occasionally have difficulity with low toliets and tubs. The room showed handicapped on the exterior door however, the toliet was low and there was not a shower but a tub you had to step into. I spent 3 nights and the only maid service I received was towel replacement - the bed was not made and I do not believe the vaccum was ran. One day I someone had left their pass key in my room along with a roll of wastepaper bags. I took it to the desk and told the clerk I thought #6 would be looking for their keys in the morning. Not a thank or any sense of concern. I entered the lobby at various times of the day and evening and I don't believe I EVER saw anyone sitting at the desk just a sign that read ring bell for service. They were not even in the office directly behind the desk. To say I was disappointed would be putting it mildly I can assure you I will not be returning to this facility or any other Microtel in the future. Stay away it is definetly worth an additional 20-30 to get an indoor pool, hot breakfast, king size bed, comfortable chair as well as an adjustable desk chair with a refrigerator and microwave in your room which you did not get here. Stay in Van Wert at the Comfort Inn or Holiday Inn express.

J'aime cet hôtel! Mon chambre était propre et confortable. J'aime les hôtels où vous vous y rendez directement depuis le parking. Je resterais certainement ici encore! Pas sûr du nom de la dames de bureau avant, mais elle était étonnante!

I found this place near a new contracted job due to a 8.0⭐️on this website. I read the reviews stating that they were revamping the hotel but was a great stay. So I took a chance on it and it was affordable. Shannon at the desk was amazing when I checked in. Walked into my room at the end of the hall…most doors down the hallway were open, no locks/handles on most doors so kinda felt like I had the place to myself while upgrading. The room looked like it was still being worked on but would do for a couple days. Noticed food crumbs all of the floor. Took it as maybe their vacuum wasn’t working, you know well, things happen….but when I went to grab the ice bucket, it was full of mold. Not only inside the plastic liner but when I took the liner out was full of mold along with the lid. Well seems like word gets around town about the fact that most rooms are not locked and wide open anyone could walk into and stay the night there and it was nonstop all night long of slamming doors and stomping around. I got little sleep the first night, worked a 14 hour shift on no sleep. Second night, same thing…slamming doors, a party going on outside my window with loud people and music. Tried to call the front desk from my room with only a busy signal. No answer. Had to walk to the front desk to speak to someone. I don’t remember his name, but explained the situation. He was nice…saying I’m not trying to be a Karen but I cannot take care of patients with minimal sleep from the night before and handled it but while he didn’t even give me a chance to get to my room walked right in front of me to confront them. Mind you I’m a woman by myself trying to go make a living caring for patients out of state. The gap around my door after being shut and locked at the end of a hallways is beyond concerning for my safety. I will not go back. They did do their best to make it right with the ice bucket and the shady stuff going on both nights. But if you are a woman trying to find a place to stay I would highly not recommend this place. I do not have pics of the bucket and floor because i could not find it at the time.

Not bad of a hotel, wish I utilized the indoor pool though haha but the room was comfortable & clean. The breakfast is alright though nothing extravagant just very basic but at least it was free

La chambre était très belle, très chaude et j'aime l'eau chaude et elle était propre. Sid, la personne au bureau quand nous sommes arrivés ici était très professionnelle et gentille. Nous étions épuisés à ce point et sa vitesse de service et nous amener à notre chambre était merveilleuse. Les dames du matin prochain étaient aussi. Une chose que je souhaite est que la chambre ait une micro-ondes, surtout pour des séjours prolongés. Nous avons commencé avec un jour et finis par rester pour trois. Je ne sais pas si d'autres chambres ont elles, mais je sais que nos n'en ont pas. La seule autre chose est que les gens dans les chambres à notre rencontre étaient très lourds qui couraient dans et hors de leur chambre, bangi g les portes, et jouant de la musique lourde tous à 1h du matin. Je ne sais pas quand ils ont arrêté, alors que je suis tombé enfin endormi de cette épuisement.

We had positive experience in my past stays at LaQuinta. However, the recent stay at Hilliard, OH was quite different. Key issues were moldy shower curtain and housekeeping. Specifically: 1 Failure to reinstall replacement shower curtain until the night shift manager, “Mohamed” personally came to our room to install it around 11 PM. 2 We put “Do not Disturb” sign on the outside door handle. It was intended to having housekeeper coming back at later time after we left the room at 11AM with the sign removed. However, no housekeeping was done. The explanation we got was “Whenever housekeeper saw the “Do not Disturb” sign, they just assumed no housekeeping was needed. Most of the hotels I stayed in, the housekeeping would be automatically done later after the sign was removed, or at least a curtesy call /message will be left on room phone. Two of the four nights we stayed, housekeeping work only included bed made. No vacuum, garbage can not emptied, used cups not replaced, sink and counter not cleaned. Suggestion: Replace current sign which has “Do Not Disturb” on both sides to “Do not Disturb” on one side and “Please Clean Room” on the other side. This would make it clear to housekeepers to perform their normal services. We checked in on Thursday evening. On Friday morning, we found that the left side of the heavy window curtain was stuck. We reported it to the front desk and were promised that it would be taken care of. Nothing was ever done. We were only able to have partial daylight and only saw half of the outside scene during our entire stay.

The check-in was a disaster from the start. We arrived 45 mins after check-in time and our room wasn't ready. While the clerk was friendly it's unacceptable that our room wasn't ready AFTER check-in time. She was apologetic and seemed distressed about the situation but still doesn't help with the fact that our room wasn't ready. The clerk asked if we minded moving to another floor instead of the one assigned. Ok, stuff happens. BUT when we get to the room that she moved our stay to it smelled worse than any room I've ever been in. Smelled like pure sulfur and the carpets were questionable at best. The beds looked like they had just been remade. Went to desk to try and get another room. Stood there for almost 30 minutes and no clerk. Go back to the room and waited. Went back to desk and just as we are getting to the desk no one is at desk again as the clerk is disappearing around the corner. Stood and waited another 15-20 and no.clerk. We finally gave up and brought our own blankets in from the car and slept on top of the provided sheets and blankets. Pretty disappointing out of a Hampton to say the least. Never in my life have I had this experience with a Hampton and to be frank I probably won't return. I paid a substantial amount for this room and the experience has soured me on returning.

Les chambres sont très belles et très belles. Le personnel de Trip a réservé deux personnes à l'hôtel erroné. J'avais un tel terri le temps avec le soutien obtenir une chambre correctement et correctement chargement le gestionnaire de l'hôtel Night prend mon téléphone et devait obtenir la situation correcte être abuser la même chose et o er essayait de se produire avec l'esprit u ne rembourser aucune aide et Je me suis dit que je ne savais pas qu'il fallait attendre 3 heures pour que le soutien TRIP ne soit pas encore utile pour résoudre le problème qu'ils ont créé, mais il était maintenant 3 heures. Ce gestionnaire n'a pas seulement eu ma chambre, mais m'a donné une suite gratuite pour tous les problèmes que j'avais causés de ne pas mentionner la désordre qu'ils avaient depuis que les réservations allaient à l'hôtel erroné sous leur nom. C'était un cauchemar pour la deuxième fois, mais cet hôtel et le personnel sont de loin le meilleur que j'aie eu le plaisir de vous rencontrer. Merci beaucoup. (DANS LA MEURS NOCTE INDIANA DASHER va dormir dans le parking lot.) Vous êtes Rock Stars

I enjoyed my stay, and also it was very convenient for my situation.
