That's the end of our stay at this hotel in the executive suite. What we liked: Hotel location; Gorgeous landscapes from the room window; Pool area; Spacious swimming pool; Spacious room; The pool is properly planned; Very cute dogs and cats. They cheered us up.; The staff is very polite and tries to help with everything.; Relaxing massage; There was oatmeal on the breakfast menu, which is rare in the Philippines.; Your requests are being listened to. What didn't you like: A small selection of paid breakfast. There is no buffet and you need to choose from the menu. But you can only choose 1 dish and drink for each one. In other words, don't expect to try even a couple of dishes for prepaid money. Here you can choose only 1 dish for breakfast. The rest is paid. It became clear only on the 3rd day of the stay, as they could not understand how the breakfast system worked. We were charged 390 Philippine pesos for SPAM (or rather, three slices of local ham). It's expensive for this kind and quantity of food. •On the last day, the cost of paying for a fruit plate increased. It was 350 pesos, it became 400. •When ordering tom yam, we asked for additional shrimp (+250 pesos). We were served soup with 7 shrimp halves. We still haven't figured out how many shrimps there would have been without the extra ones we paid for. 🙈We thought they forgot to add additional ones. Then we saw the bill and additional shrimps were deposited. •Few seafood dishes. Considering that you are 50 meters from the sea. There are also few products with vegetables. We suffered because of this. There was no light food. •The leaves in each salad were stale. •Service fees were from everything. We understand when the service fee is for food, but we still don't understand why the fee was for a massage. That is, the fee for the massage + the service FEE for the massage. •There were also fees for filming shark swimming on our phone. We also did not understand why the fee, if the tour itself cost 7,500 pesos + 300 pesos was a service fee (again, we do not understand why it is not included in the total cost of the tour) + 260 pesos for shooting on the phone; I was disappointed that when booking an excursion to swim with sharks for 7,500 pesos, fishing was included, but no one offered it to us. They just took us, we swam and brought it back. They say the tour took 5 hours, but it was two and a half hours. •Hand soap has not been refilled in two days; • The automatic circulation of water in the pool was rarely turned on, so we swam with flies for two days... trying to catch them from there; •The performers were an hour late for the first tour, and 30 minutes late for the second. We don't understand why our time wasn't respected. • One shower wasn't working. There was no water coming out of it; • Often they didn't bring half of the dish. That is, if you ordered a meat plate with grapes, cheese and crackers, be prepared that I may not bring you crackers, but there will be 3 pieces of cheese. That's for 590 pesos. We ordered this plate twice, and two times we didn't get any crackers. The second time we asked and they informed us. Also, when ordering mashed potatoes with chicken, they brought us chicken without mashed potatoes. We asked and were informed. Everything was already cold. They didn't add a banana to the banana pancakes. Unfortunately, curtains are not blackout, for those who cannot sleep without them, bring a sleep mask. I write absolutely all the little things, as I am very careful about the service. I really liked this hotel. In any case, I recommend it wholeheartedly. After all, they communicate politely with you here, there are gorgeous views from a spacious room, and there is a large swimming pool. But I have to write down the little things so that the management can improve the quality of service so that staying at this hotel leaves only positive emotions for absolutely everyone! After all, the hotel is really beautiful!

Nous y étions du 26/12/24 au 30/12/24 et puis à cause du mauvais temps sur l'île. La caserne a été agrandie jusqu'au 01/02/25. Bel hôtel familial. Tellement nouveau que le chauffeur de taxi qui nous a emmenés à l’aéroport ne le connaissait pas. Cet hôtel est idéal pour un séjour relaxant. Tous les divertissements de la plage d'Alona se trouvent à 15 minutes en voiture. Les taxis et les tricycles coûtent tous à peu près le même prix, environ 200 à 250 pesos. L'hôtel lui-même propose un service de location de vélos. 500 pesos/jour. Peut-être que vous pouvez le trouver moins cher, mais les vélos sont neufs et c'était très pratique pour nous. D'ailleurs, toutes les photos présentées sont réelles : les chambres, la piscine, même le vélo. Hébergement avec petit-déjeuner (de 7h à 10h). Les petits déjeuners sont assez savoureux, même si le café n’est pas très bon, mais c’est là que je pinaille. A part le petit-déjeuner, nous n'avons pas mangé à l'hôtel, heureusement il y a quelques bons restaurants à proximité. La piscine est propre, il y a une douche. Les chambres sont nettoyées sur demande (il faut raccrocher une carte). Il y a un réfrigérateur, le climatiseur fonctionne et il y a un ventilateur au-dessus du lit. D’ailleurs, c’est très pratique, on a failli ne pas allumer la clim. Le contingent est différent : Coréens, Russes, Européens. Il n'y a que 15 chambres. Nous pouvons le recommander en toute confiance. J'en ai donné quatre partout, parce que... Il y a toujours quelque chose à atteindre.

J’adore l’idée du distributeur d’eau pour réduire l’utilisation du plastique. Peut prendre de l'eau chaude, normale et froide de la machine près de ma chambre 605. Je me suis senti si familier lorsque j'ai décidé de réserver une nuit ici. Quand je suis entré dans la chambre, j'ai ouvert mon e-mail pour voir que j'étais resté une fois le 21 mars 2019. La chambre est très grande et confortable bien qu'elle ne soit pas neuve. Le charme de l'hôtel et du personnel est toujours le même. Le petit déjeuner est préparé et simple. Le restaurant est fermé à 21h30, nous avons donc dû sortir pour dîner. Facile de trouver des endroits pour manger autour de l'hôtel. À proximité de 2 centres commerciaux Robinson au rond-point et près d'un dépanneur. Déposez 1 000 pesos. Le 7ème étage est entouré de murs très hauts, ce qui fait que la vue est bloquée. S'ils rénovent, espérons qu'ils fabriqueront plutôt des clôtures en verre.

It's a mixed bag. The location is excellent, offering a different, good sea every day. For safe swimming, you need to follow the tide schedule. The hotel grounds and plants are very well maintained; they're beautiful and clean. There's a long stretch of beach for strolls. Logistically convenient – there are plenty of cafes, restaurants, shops selling travel essentials, and a market with fresh produce nearby. A major drawback is the large construction site nearby, which can be heard all day, especially in the bungalows nearby. The rooms and bungalows are in fair condition. However, there are some serious downsides: every other day, it was impossible to shower due to low water pressure; when the pressure was low, the water heater wouldn't turn on; and the water had a strong sewer smell. At breakfast, the restaurant won't offer you salt, pepper, or sauces unless you ask. Drinks include juice from concentrate or coffee. Only after a week did we discover they offer tea for breakfast. The breakfast is very basic, and there's no fruit at all, which is surprising given the price of fruit on the island. There was trash on the beach all week, just a little bit, washed up by the sea. It was cleaned up quickly, as it didn't require much effort. But why is the beach cleaned only once a week? The hotel website advertises a shuttle service, but I advise against it. Personal experience: I sent a text message and email to the hotel on time; our ferry departed at 5:30 PM. We arrived on the island around 7:00 PM. We weren't met. We got there ourselves. A hotel security guard met us at the hotel and gave us our room keys. It immediately became clear that the light switch in the bathroom was causing lightning and could shock us, and the water heater wasn't working. The security guard said, ”Take this up with the management tomorrow; my concern is safety.” Information about room problems is not passed on to the management. So, we spent the first night without hot water or power in the bathroom. After we contacted them, they gave us a working room mid-way through the second day. They didn't apologize for the missed shuttle service, and they didn't offer the stated compensation for our independent transfer. Moreover, I received a welcome email from the hotel after only one day of my stay. The hotel has adequate staff, and the people are positive and friendly. However, management, quality control, and leadership are seriously flawed. The rooms are overloaded with text reminders, rules, and restrictions, many of which would be confusing to a normal person. Or does the hotel manager think only people with dementia stay at their hotel? Reminders and restrictions are completely unnecessary if guests are greeted promptly and the necessary information is provided electronically in their native language.

Un charmant petit hôtel (qui se présente comme un boutique-hôtel). Excellente cuisine. Les prix sont légèrement plus élevés qu'en ville, mais la différence est minime. Le ménage, le service, etc., sont impeccables. Il y a un petit récif corallien magnifique avec de nombreuses tortues (l'accès à l'eau n'est pas idéal, mais c'est le cas partout). Voici quelques points négatifs : 1. La pression de la douche dans la chambre du deuxième étage est très faible, un simple filet d'eau (chaude et froide). 2. L'hôtel est loin de l'aéroport (mais les bons endroits à Cebu le sont souvent :( ) Un grand merci au propriétaire, Mike, pour ce merveilleux séjour et son service attentionné ! :)

Il se trouve que je me suis trompée de dates et suis arrivée à l'aéroport de Moalboal un jour plus tôt. J'ai réservé le premier hôtel que j'ai trouvé à proximité. Quelle agréable surprise en arrivant ! Tout m'a plu : la propreté impeccable, le cadre magnifique et le personnel excellent. Du coup, je n'ai pas quitté l'hôtel le lendemain et j'ai réservé une nuit supplémentaire, mon vol étant de nuit. Pour le prix, c'était parfait. J'ai profité de la superbe piscine et dîné au restaurant de l'hôtel, dont les prix sont raisonnables. Au moment de mon départ, le personnel m'a aidée à appeler un taxi pour l'aéroport.

La chambre était propre et moderne. Le lit était confortable. Les chargeurs étaient situés juste à côté du lit et disposaient même d'un port USB, ce qui était très pratique pour recharger son téléphone à proximité. Les interrupteurs étaient également près du lit, évitant ainsi de se déplacer pour allumer ou éteindre la lumière. Le point négatif était la salle de bain, sans paroi de douche, ce qui entraînait des débordements. L'évacuation de l'eau de la douche et du lavabo était lente. Un sèche-cheveux était disponible, mais peu puissant, rendant le séchage des cheveux presque impossible. Il n'y avait pas d'eau potable dans la chambre, mais un distillateur d'eau était disponible à chaque étage. Chaque chambre était équipée d'une bouilloire et d'un réfrigérateur. Le petit-déjeuner n'était pas un buffet, mais proposait un menu fixe. L'hôtel offrait un service de consigne à bagages gratuit et le concierge pouvait vous aider à trouver un taxi pour votre transfert à l'aéroport.

Nous avons aimé séjourner dans cette localité.Notre chambre était juste sur l'eau, donnant quelques vues impressionnantes de matin et de nuit. L'hôtel dispose d'un grand centre de plongée qui loue tous les types d'équipements de snorkeling jusqu'à des heures plus tard. Notre seule question était la très faible pression de l'eau dans la douche qui a fait laver les cheveux longs et un peu difficile. Alors que vous êtes à distance de la rue « mail » dans la ville, marchez-nous environ 8 minutes et il y a peu d'autres hôtels/restaurants et entreprises d'activité situées juste à côté de l'entrée de l'hôtel

Nous avons toujours passé un excellent séjour dans cet hôtel. Ma famille et moi adorons y séjourner. La chambre est propre, la piscine et la plage de sable blanc sont à deux pas de l'établissement. La nourriture était correcte.

My fiancé and I had a wonderful stay at the Blue Orchid, and it truly exceeded our expectations in every way. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had a  view of the ocean over the treetops. It felt peaceful and private — exactly the atmosphere we were hoping for. The staff were exceptional — so friendly, kind, and accommodating. They helped me plan a surprise proposal for my fiancé, offering suggestions for the perfect location and ultimately arranging for us to use their private rooftop. They also coordinated a romantic dinner there just for us, ensuring we had complete privacy. It was an unforgettable evening, and I’m so grateful for the care they put into making it so special. The resort arranged our transportation both from our previous hotel in Mactan and later to Cebu Pier 1, which made travel stress-free. We also booked canyoneering and an introductory scuba dive through them. The instructors were fantastic — very patient and reassuring, especially when I became nervous underwater and couldn’t finish the dive. While the resort is a bit removed from the busier Panagsama Beach area, that was a huge plus for us. We wanted somewhere quiet, scenic, and romantic, and Blue Orchid delivered exactly that. The restaurant doesn’t have a massive menu, but the food was consistently delicious, portions were perfect, and prices were very fair. Even though there wasn’t a kettle in the room, hot water, coffee and tea was readily available and it was never an inconvenience since everything was close by. We also appreciated the mosquito net over the bed — it added to the tropical charm, though we didn’t need it because insects were never an issue. We even spotted a tiny gecko in our room upon arrival, but it was harmless and quickly disappeared — just part of the island’s character! Overall, the Blue Orchid was everything we hoped for: quiet, romantic, and welcoming. The staff helped make one of the most meaningful moments of our lives absolutely perfect. I would highly recommend it, especially to LGBTQ+ travelers looking for a peaceful and genuinely inclusive place to stay in Moalboal. When we do a return trip to the area, we will stay here again.
